Old Station Nursery is such a warm and welcoming nursery for both children and parents. Each member of staff treats you and your child as their own and goes above and beyond to make you feel safe leaving your babies in their care. My child has the best time every day that they are there. They are
well taken care of and come home with their own artwork and special gifts on different occasions. The nursery includes all aspects of life and celebrates a range of holidays in super fun ways that involve all children. Honestly, it is the best nursery around.

We joined the toddler room in January 2026. Since then our son has settled really well and he loves going to Nursery. The staff are lovely and do lots of fun activities with the children. I would recomend to anyone.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. My child absolutely loves going and is always so excited to see everyone when she arrives - she gets carried in with a big smile and can't wait to start her day.
The staff are so warm, caring and attentive, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about
the children. They always look after her so well, making sure she feels safe, supported and happy. It gives us such peace of mind knowing she is in such good hands every day.
I would like to have more updates in regards to pictures but I appreciate they are busy with the children.
I love the fact that they give a 6 week update and so far their progress aligns with what we are also working on at home. I can always get through on the phone and I don't have any concerns about my baby's safety.

My child started at the Old Station in Faringdon in January 2026. Even though he had previously attended a different nursery setting only a few months before, he has found it tricky to go in each morning, but the staff in his room have been so kind and patient. They've worked with us to find the
best ways for him to come in and stay calm.
Once he is there, he has a wonderful time and takes part in all sorts of activities and games, which he delights in telling me all about when I pick him up. One thing I love about the Old Station is that I am allowed into the room when I collect him, meaning I can see him engaged in play before he notices I'm there! It's such a precious thing to see that he is so content when I'm not around, so I know he feels happy and safe when he is there.

Remi joined Faringdon in Nov at 19 months old after moving areas and wow what an amazing nursery!
The team are so kind, caring and affectionate towards the babies we couldn't ask for anything more. I have been lucky enough as a parent to see him grow and develop massively over the past few months
and will be sad to see him leave the baby room and move to toddlers.
All the team across the whole nursery are always happy to help and just gorgeous people but a special shout out to Naomi who is his key person she is just amazing at her job and Remi clearly loves her.
Can't wait to see the rest of his journey and for our newest baby to join next year if you're thinking about sending your babies here I highly recommend X

I am very happy for my son to be in this nursery - he is confident and happy to go and gets to do lots of activities that I wouldn't set up for him at home. There isn't a lot of staff turnover which makes me confident that it's good for them too, and happy staff are more likely to look after my son
well. The nursery has done really well accommodating my son's extra care needs after an accident. The office team are always helpful and prompt in communication. I would 100% recommend.

I can only say lovely things about this nursery, but my 2 year old daughter has the best compliment of all, when it's a nursery day, she states it's "a happy day!", which says it all for me. The staff really are fantastic with her, giving lots of care and attention, including effort into improving
her education and everyday skills.

I couldn't recommend this nursery more. We've already noticed such lovely changes in our son since attending. He has learnt so much. The team are so kind and caring, and really helped me feel at ease leaving him- which means a lot as I was quite anxious about it at first. It's made such a difference
knowing he's so happy and well looked after. I feel like my son leaves for the day truly nurtured and enriched.

Old station is such a very good nursery. My daughter started in 2023 September and the team have been amazing. The staff is so patient and lovely. I highly recommend Old station Faringdon. The way my daughter loves going to nursery gives me alot of joy that she is in safe hands

Amazing nursery, lovely staff, my daughter loves her key worker. Very supportive company. Would like more updates on the app that's all. No other faults, much better than other nurseries I've viewed.

Staff in the rooms are good, our son enjoys nursery and they seem to interact well with the kids. Activities until recently were limited but seem better recently. The rooms are well set up and food is pretty good. Instances like unexplained bruises or soiled underwear are low, albeit not zero.
Communication is poor. We get told things with short notice that need our input, phones aren't answered and we don't get called back and depth of information at handover or through app or through emails is low compared to what we've seen from friends, even within the same chain. Recently this has gotten a bit better and we received meaningful information about development progress for the second time in 3 years recently and other messages with more helpful content too around what is going on day to day as well as a bit during handover so there are signs that this is improving so we shall see. If you attend all your sessions, this is a cheaper nursery than others nearby.

Our son has been at nursery since May 2023 and has recently moved to the toddler room. The staff are kind and friendly, and we have been really impressed with the nursery as a whole! During his time in the baby room, our son was always greeted with warmth and affection. Our son has recently had
settling-in days to help him transition from the baby room to toddlers which has also helped us to adapt to the new environment and routine. There is so much care and thought put into different activities for the children and a genuine enthusiasm amongst the staff for festive occasions! This engagement makes time at nursery fun for the children. Our son has grown in confidence and flourished whilst in the baby room! We are confident this will continue now he has moved to toddlers.

The Old Station Nursery Faringdon is such a wonderful, happy, caring place. When our daughter joined last year, we can't believe how many stimulating and fun activities the staff placed into her day. I love the personal touch they give at feedback at the end of the day; you really feel that they
have been part of your child's day. They even send you photos throughout the day so you don't miss those wonderful learning moments. I can't thank the manager and her team enough for giving our daughter such a great learning journey so far, and we look forward to the next year as she soon moves into preschool.

My daughter has been in all 3 rooms provided for babies, toddlers, and preschool and has had an enjoyable experience throughout. All the staff has been friendly and helpful when needed.

Having found myself becoming a full-time parent again having my granddaughter given to me by social services at 11 months old and being in full-time employment I needed a nursery urgently. I phoned around in total panic and found little availability at first. Then I spoke to The Old Station Nursery
and a certain member of staff was wonderful, so caring, and supportive at a very stressful time. Within a week we had our granddaughter in the baby unit and the love and care for her and myself, I will always be truly grateful to all the great staff at the Nursery. Now nearly 3 years old, a very happy healthy little girl so our thanks are ongoing to all the staff!

The nursery is so adaptable and helpful! The staff are so friendly and the children love them. The twins have extra needs, and these are met without question by the staff. The SEN lead takes great care of them and always keeps me up to date. Their key worker is so brilliant with them too. Nothing is
too much for the staff to accommodate when it comes to the children.

My daughter has a lovely time at The Old Station Nursery Faringdonn. The staff are fab and the food and activities varied. A really nice environment for young people. Management is flexible and tries to accommodate occasional requests for extra hours, etc. Feel happy leaving my daughter here.

Great nursery, all of the staff members in the baby room are fantastic and have a great bond with our son, he loves coming here and we look forward to enrolling our daughter here when she is old enough!

All the staff are supportive, and I am impressed with my son's growth.
It was quite supportive that the nursery keeps giving us updates via app to see my son's life in the nursery, and the framework indicator makes it easy to recognise his daily growth.
He definitely has a great time.

My baby is 9 months old and has settled so well over his first two months at The Old Station Faringdon. We get fantastic updates, and I love to see the photos of him playing each day, so I can know he’s happy and enjoying himself. We also get great feedback at pick-up to know what he’s been up to
and how he got on, which helps to continue his routine at home, like naps and feeds. The staff know him very well already and are always accommodating if I update them on changes to his sleep patterns, bottle feeds, etc. It is a great set-up, with everything he needs to play, learn and explore as he’s just started standing, so they support him in learning each new skill and follow his lead, which is so important.
