The staff are amazing at Bourne End. They are attentive, kind, patient and genuinely have the kids best interests at heart. They go above and beyond and it shines through when you see how happy my kids are going there.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for just over a month now and she absolutely loves it. The lovely team that look after her, are so caring and attentive. We couldn't ask for more. The nursery has a home away from home vibe, with a huge garden for the children. The team do an amazing job,
and it doesn't go unappreciated.

We're so happy with the care our son has received since starting at the nursery at the end of 2025. After an extended maternity leave, we were nervous about the transition, but the staff were amazing at helping both him and us settle in. Their kindness and reassurance has made a huge difference.
Our son loves the team - everyone is friendly, caring, and approachable, and the setting really feels like a home from home. We enjoy hearing about the activities he takes part in each day, and the large outdoor space is a huge bonus!
Since joining, our son's confidence and development have really grown, and it's been so lovely to see him settle in and make such great progress. We feel very lucky to have found such a supportive setting and would happily recommend it to other families.

My Daughter has been at Bourne Explorers since she was 10/11 months old & with the help of the wonderful members of staff who have continued to build strong trusting relationships with my child & with their kind, loving & attentive personalities, my child has grown in confidence & is thriving. The
care & attention from the team has been faultless. We are extremely happy with the way our Daughter is looked after & cared for. The Nursery truly has a 'home from home' environment & a calm & happy atmosphere. The Nursery Manager is friendly, approachable & has a hands-on approach which ensures she has the all encompassing knowledge to make the best decisions within the Nursery, for the best outcomes for the children i.e. room changes, to ensure excellent child development at every stage. The way in which she manages the Nursery proves to be very effective. She takes the time to know each child & is superb at supporting families navigate personal changes/disruptions. Communication is fab.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. Our daughter has absolutely thrived since starting - her confidence has grown so much and she's come on leaps and bounds in every way.
The food menu is excellent, and it's clear they put real thought into providing healthy, varied meals . The teachers are
wonderful - always kind, supportive, and attentive. We've especially appreciated their help and encouragement recently with potty training, which has made such a difference.
The outdoor space is fantastic - very spacious and perfect for children to explore and play. The nursery also makes a huge effort with events throughout the year, giving parents lovely opportunities to attend and spend special time together with their children.
Most importantly, our daughter genuinely loves going to nursery and has truly flourished there. We highly recommend it to any parents looking for a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment. We can't wait for our next baby to join too!

We've been happy with the nursery for the past 3 years, having two children attending. The ladies who work there make it seem like home to the children and they are extremely caring. I feel at ease leaving my children there and know they're in good, nurturing hands.
They run some great events at
the nursery, allowing parents to meet eachother and it's so nice getting to see both children in their rooms and how proud they are of their nursery space and teachers.

I wanted to send my daughter to Bourne End nursery after my initial visit. I was really excited about the outdoor space they have and how the current staff had accumulated over 100 years working there. I also liked how they send the children out in all weather, unless really bad of course.
At
first, like any baby, my daughter struggled to adjust but one of the workers made a lot of effort to help settle and comfort her. Now, I don't even get a goodbye, she loves it there!
The nursery celebrate different cultures and holidays. The staff seem to really enjoy working there and that speaks volumes.

My little boy absolutely loves coming into nursery every day. He's formed really good relationships with other children and staff. Staff are always friendly and organise lots of brilliant activities for the children. They have helped support my son through the arrival of his baby sister, keeping
things consistent and supportive, and we look forward to sending our daughter to join our little boy at nursery in the autumn!

My son has been attending the nursery for approximately 2 and a half years.
He is always happy to go there and when he returns home he often talks about the teachers. All the staff are very kind and friendly. I am really happy with the choice I made for my son and I hope that in the future my
daughter will also be able to attend the same nursery.

My son has attended Bourne End Nursery for some time now and has quite simply loved every minute. The staff are kind, caring, and attentive, and communication is excellent at all stages from management. My son has thrived in the excellent setting that is on offer, with most of the playtime being
outdoors during the day (come rain or shine). Thanks to all the team!

My little boy has come on so much since joining the nursery last year. He is so happy here and adores his teachers and friends. He always comes home so excited. His speech has come along wonderfully and he's definitely a big fan of the yummy meals he has every day. Couldn't be happier that he is
here.

My children have been at Bourne End for over two years now. My eldest is in the toddler class and the youngest in the baby unit. I have always felt like the nursery was a safe and welcoming place to leave my children and still do. The staff are friendly and caring and they know my children well.
They always plan fun activities for them and teach them how to take care of themselves and each other. My children are developing into independent and considerate young boys thanks to the staff and the supportive environment at the nursery.

A wonderful nursery that I couldn't recommend more! My son started in the Baby Unit in January 2023 and I was so impressed with how quickly he settled in, which is all thanks to the fantastic, caring and supportive staff. The facilities are great, both indoors and outdoors, and it's been lovely to
see how much my son has developed and learnt in his time at the nursery.
All the staff are incredible and it's clear how adored they are by the children. Thank you Bourne End for being such a welcoming, reassuring and fun place for children and parents.

Great nursery with an amazing outdoor space and lots of fun activities. My son absolutely loves it there, he started in September 2022, settled in really quickly, became much more independent and made lots of friends. The staff is amazing and very caring - I couldn't recommend this nursery more.

A lovely nursery in a wonderful setting with a huge garden. Both my daughters have attended this nursery for some time. The staff are lovely and caring and I have always felt safe leaving them in their care. The nursery needed investment which happened as was bought by new owners in the last year.
Before the new ownership children mixed with all ages (Babies have their own section) and ate all together which is a key part of why I loved this nursery. It created a homely environment and gave them access to all the spaces and they loved playing with the older and younger children.
It is now moving away from this with the new owners moving more and more towards a room-based nursery. I am happy with the situation as it currently is, but as more changes are implemented this may change.

Our daughter absolutely loves attending Bourne End Day Nursery. We have never seen her as happy in a nursery setting as Bourne End.
The staff are fantastic, they treat our daughter wonderfully. She loves every single staff member. She comes home very happy every day and bounces into nursery every
morning.
The setting is beautiful with a huge outdoor space to explore and great indoors too.
Our daughter has developed incredibly well in the 12 months that she has been in this setting.
We would highly recommend this nursery and we will be sending our second daughter in the new year.

My son loves attending Bourne End Day Nursery. The staff are lovely and caring, and the facilities are excellent with a large garden. His development has been excellent since he started there at age one and always attends nursery with a smile.

My nephew is currently attending the Pre-School and the changes I have seen since the last time I visited have been phenomenal. The new toys and cleanliness is amazing, it is like a new nursery. Well done all!

An absolutely amazing nursery. So impressed with the care and dedication in looking after my daughter. My daughter started last year as a shy and independent child, she is leaving this month as a confident, bubbly and very vocal team player.
She has built lots of friendships and become very close
with several teachers who she adores. The nursery has massively helped improve her behaviour and development. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. It’s a shame we are moving too far to continue here!
All members of staff are friendly and helpful, keeping you updated on the app of what your child is up to during the day to keep you at ease.
My daughter is really going to miss coming here!
