I couldn't recommend Kingsmead Day Nursery highly enough, my daughter had a fabulous time there from the age of 11 months to when she finished for school. The staff are amazing and generally care. I could feel their warmth and pride in the kids was unwavering. The playground and activities are brilliant. The food is great, Debs the cook is a wonder and got my daughter to eat such a variety of meals. Wild club and tennis were a particular favourite for my little girl, but she genuinely just really loved being at the nursery and was taught so many skills and lesson that made her school ready, including independence and so importantly, kindness. Kingsmead is a fantastic nursery with amazing staff. My son has had the best experience here since starting at 11 months old. The outdoor space is wonderful, and he's loved Wild Club and tennis each week. Healthy food, great activities, and such caring staff .We'll really miss this nursery.

Kingsmead day nursery.. is simply amazing. The staff are just absolutely brilliant, so kind, Caring, and just really nice people. They listen to you as parents about the needs for your child. I couldn't of wished for a better experience for my child, He loved his nearly 4 years at Kingsmead. Thank you for the care and nurture you gave to him.

As my daughter is about to start her next chapter at school, I cannot express how sad I am that we are leaving Kingsmead behind. From the very first visit at the age of 10 months they have gone above and beyond to help nuture our child, from the healthy lunch and tea options, to providing a fun learning environment. The setting is great with lots of outdoor space, which is great when they offer wild club and tennis. With the offering of a get together once a year in the summer and a nativity at christmas is fantastic. My daughter has excelled, gained confidence, hit education milestones all because of the fantastic staff who genuinely care about your child. Thank you so much for providing such excellent care.

Amazing nursery, excellent staff and the kids are always entertained, cared for and flourish. Communication is brilliant and you are allowed to help with what your child likes with focus weeks. Activities like the wild club and tennis are amazing

I have been really impressed with everything about Kingsmead. My daughter joined when she was 3 and has been there for a year. She settled in with all the staff really quickly and has grown in confidence speaking to adults. She always talks about the activities that she has done and really enjoys "wild club" days and the outside areas. The staff are all well qualified and seem very happy in their roles and are genuinely engaged with and take interest in the children. I have been really impressed with how well my daughter has picked up identifying letters and numbers and how she has been able to write her name from quite a young age which indicates the time and support staff put into individuals. The outside space in the nursery is great and lots of different areas for children to explore. I think the nursery benefits from having a slightly smaller group in the preschool so children get that extra attention. The management team are very accessible and organised with good communication.

I could not find a nursery better for my daughter! The care and support she receives is amazing and she is thriving at nursery! The outdoor space is amazing and I love seeing pictures and videos of her having so much fun. The staff are always very welcoming and will always make time for me when I have any queries to discuss.

Kingsmead Day Nursery is a wonderful setting and we will be sad to say goodbye this year as our child moves on to school. Our daughter's confidence has grown so much as she has progressed through each of the rooms and she has such admiration for all of the staff at nursery. Everyone is absolutely wonderful - professional but also so caring and friendly. The facilities and outside space are outstanding, my daughter has loved taking part in the additional activities offered by the nursery which have included Tennis (additional cost) and Really Wild Club (included). Kingsmead has truly given our daughter the best start and we are extremely grateful for everything.

Kingsmead has been an amazing facility. The staff are committed to the well-being of all the kids. We have truly enjoyed the last few years with the nursery and are so blessed to have had our little one looked after by such caring staff.

My son started at Kingsmead Nursery in 2021 and we were so impressed that we decided to start our daughter here despite her already attending another nursery slightly further away. All of the staff are a huge asset to the nursery and it is hugely reassuring they know all of the children so well (even part-time children) and really go out of their way to ensure they are happy and well cared for. The key person approach is also taken very seriously and very meaningful updates are given, along with a very individualised plan for each child's key developments. Handovers are very good and it is lovely to get a true insight into your child's day. The setting is really lovely and very well arranged, with a smaller garden towards the front for the younger children and a very large garden to the rear with plenty of trees providing shade. The food is freshly prepared by the on-site cook and is loved by both our children, as is the cook who also takes an interest in the children.

Kingsmead is a wonderful nursery. My son has attended Kingsmead since the age of two and as a family, we really have no complaints. He has been very happy there. It has so much to offer with a fantastic outdoor area. The staff are approachable, and friendly and are always keen to engage with both parents and children during the drop-off and pick-up. My son has ran into nursery on the two days he attends and has made some lovely friends there, it is so nice to see the progress he has made over the last couple of years and is now well-prepared and excited to move on to school.

Kingsmead Nursery have been absolutely amazing in the years that my son has attended. They have been so supportive, and guided me as a parent on key milestones and my son's growth and development along the way. My son loves to go to nursery and this is a true testament to how amazing, kind and caring the Kingsmead team are!

Both of my children have attended Kingsmead Nursery, with my second leaving for school this month. During the 8 years I've known them it has been a huge comfort to know my children are so well cared for. It's a beautiful setting with a range of outside spaces and feels more like a home. The staff know every child well and provide a fantastic range of activities, clubs and equipment. All of which are continually invested in and improved. The staff are lovely with a good mix of experience (and continuity) and genuinely care for every child, always looking to support them in a way that fits the child and the parents' wishes. The food provided is prepared fresh on-site daily and my children's allergies have been well catered for. Myself and my children will hugely miss Kingsmead as we move onto this next phase. Absolutely I would recommend this setting.

Having viewed a few nurseries, Kingsmead stood out very quickly as the most ideal for us. Since attending, my child has grown significantly in all areas due to the friendly, knowledgeable staff who have guided many aspects of her development and learning. The outdoor space and facilities are excellent and the activities the staff do are fantastic. We highly recommend the nursery.

Our daughter started Kingsmead in September 2023 - for the short time she has been there, we are very happy. The nursery is a lovely place for children, with wonderful outdoor facilities. The staff are always very friendly and like to discuss each day what activities our daughter has engaged in. They like to include our daughter in all activities, despite her going one day a week. The management team are also very helpful and friendly. Very pleased so far.

Superb setting. Kind, caring and compassionate staff, responsive to individual needs. Excellent facilities and activities. My daughter loves attending and has adjusted really well from day one, after a turbulent time in a previous nursery. Cannot thank the team enough who all go above and beyond to make the nursery a welcoming, engaging and fun place to attend.

My child loves going to nursery, she has settled very well and loves all the staff. She enjoys doing activities and plays well with the other children. At home, she is fussy with her food, but the staff manage to encourage her to eat whilst at nursery. My child is happy when dropped off and picked up, which puts my mind at ease during the time she is at Kingsmead.
