Overall we are very happy with this nursery, both of our daughters love the staff and they really enjoy the range of creative and messy play activities. We are very pleased with the facilities and the very caring attitude of the staff.

We have had our three boys at Kingsmead over the last 3 years and our boys have absolutely loved their time there. The garden is brilliant and the exposure to different activities and learning experiences has been so wonderful to see. They have come out confident, Independent and caring young boys. Would definitely recommend it.

Kingsmead has been amazing for the development of our little boy! I am always amazed at how much he learns developmentally and socially through the nursery. He is always happy and spends a lot of time outdoors playing which has been one of my favourite parts of the nursery. They go on outdoor walks to see the ducks and explore. The staff have been phenomenal and such a joy to work with. My son runs to them in the morning to grab their hands and as a parent, I couldn't ask for more!

Our son loves Kingsmead, he has been there since he was 6/7 months old and is now 3.5. For a city centre nursery, I am amazed at the amount that they do during the day, especially outside (come rain or shine) which is our little boy's favourite place to be. He is always creating, learning and playing. He speaks fondly of the staff, who are patient and always on hand for a cuddle or a laugh. It does feel like they know and want to know your children. Everyone gets involved and the children collaborate together forming really lovely friendships across all ages. It's a big decision choosing to send your child to nursery. To be able to trust in others to support and care for them, in the same way that you do. We are so pleased with how happy our boy is every day to go to Kingsmead and to come home and tell us of his adventures.

We are incredibly happy with our experience at Kingsmead Nursery. Both of our kids attended, and we couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention they received so far. The staff is genuinely caring, always making sure each child feels safe, happy, and engaged. The range of activities provided is amazing, offering a perfect blend of fun and educational experiences. Our kids are always excited to go to nursery on their designated days, which speaks volumes about how much they enjoy it there. Additionally, the initial settling-in sessions were handled wonderfully, making the transition smooth and reassuring for both our children and us as parents. We highly recommend Kingsmead to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their children.

Our daughter has been at Kingsmead for nearly a year now in the Bears room and will shortly be transitioning to the toddler room. We've been so impressed with the staff to date. They are constantly thinking of new and creative activities for the children to take part in, and are always so welcoming and attentive. It's so reassuring to know that when you drop off your child, that they are going to have a fun, welcoming and safe place to learn and develop.

My daughter joined Kingsmead in September 2023 and absolutely loved it. It was a big change for her (and me) to stay the whole day at the nursery but the staff there is absolutely amazing and incredibly supportive. They have individual approaches and help children to develop in the way suited for them. It was a pleasure to watch her confidence and independence grow. Thank you so much!

A truly remarkable nursery! My children simply love going and seeing all their friends. They spend a lot of time outside doing all sorts of things from tennis to 'selling ice creams' or building buses with wooden blocks. The staff are caring, supportive and wonderful. They come up with all kinds of fun daily activities and when your child comes home covered in paint - you know that they have had the best day!

The team at Kingsmead are phenomenal and we are so happy with the care that our little boy receives. It is such a big decision when choosing a nursery for your little one but we were made to feel welcome and well informed from the very beginning. Our little boy jumps out of our arms as he arrives each day and this is a huge compliment to the whole team at Kingsmead. The amount and variety of activities are astounding and he seems to learn something new each week which is wonderful to see. We couldn't be happier. A huge thank you to everyone at Kingsmead.

My daughter is coming up to a year at Kingsmead, in the bears (under 2s) room and will soon be moving to the bigger room. She has had an amazing first year, seems to be developing enormously and has had such a brilliant time with the team at Kingsmead. She has bonded with her key workers as well as the wider team and has become very comfortable at Kingsmead. They are friendly, caring and thoughtful and the updates and very thorough and cute!

Both of my children have been at Kingsmead and I have always felt that it has been so good for them. The management and staff make a huge amount of effort to create a lovely, stimulating and nurturing environment with lots of fun activities and events for the children. They have always been very accommodating e.g. offering extra settling-in sessions for our son who we knew would take a little while to settle, reading his favourite book over and over again, offering lots of comfort etc. Hats off to the staff who are so caring in a difficult job!

We have 2 children at Kingsmead, one who joined half way through their nursery journey and one who has been there from the start. Both are completely different characters and Kingsmead goes above and beyond to try and support them as individuals. They have a wide range of activities and help support developmental growth in all aspects. However, the things which is most telling about the care they receive there, is the way they happily run in every morning greeting their key workers with big smiles and come home desperate to tell us all about their day. We have regular meetings and the team are always available for more in depth chats should any niggles arise and work with parents to find the best solution for these curious little minds!

We couldn't be happier! Our daughter has been here for 1 year now (from 8 months) and enjoys every minute. The staff are great and our little one has developed a real bond with them. We're always amazed at how many activities they get through in the day and the menu is great. Could not recommend more highly.

Cannot praise Kingsmead highly enough. Our daughter has a lot of allergies and was food-averse when she started. The staff have been amazing - they've totally transformed her eating and she loves her time there. Fantastic outdoor space given its central location, and frequent trips to the park/playground, but what makes Kingsmead great is its incredible and caring staff. Thank you!

Our 17-month-old has been with Kingsmead since he was just 6 months old and it's really become a home from home for him. If anything he's probably more excited to be in nursery! The level of care he gets has far surpassed all expectations and the variety of activities is incredible. He learns a lot from nursery and comes back with new sign language and words frequently. Far more than a being just childcare, even at his young age Kingsmead has really contributed to his development and happy little personality, creating security and a family feel. We are so grateful.

After a move from the states, our son finished up pre-school at Kingsmead Day Nursery in August 2021. He was warmly welcomed into the Kingsmead Day Nursery community and loved the fun activities he participated in (arts and crafts, dance, sports, baking etc). He was well prepared by the fantastic staff to start year R. Our daughter then started in the baby unit in August 2021 and based on her excitement when we drop her off, loves it. We have been very impressed by the creativity that goes into the planning at Kingsmead Day Nursery, even for the littlest ones (trips to the park, painting for earth day, baking etc.). The staff is super attentive and have taken the time to get to know her - they even know her favourite song - “row row row your boat”. The garden is awesome and well maintained and the kids go out quite often. The communication is great and we get updates through blossom (+pictures) which has been super helpful. Overall, we absolutely love the staff and the nursery!

My daughter really loves being at Kingsmead Day Nursery. She enjoys the activities and is very stimulated by her time there. The staff are really switched on and know each child very well. The pre-school unit seems a bit cramped but the baby unit is very spacious. The garden is really lovely and well-appointed. My daughter has been at Kingsmead since she was 6 months old and has always loved it.

My daughter started Kingsmead in January 2020, and we both love it. The staff are all amazing, and so helpful. I have seen so many changes to my daughter this year, and most of it is thanks to Kingsmead and all their hard work with her. Thank you so much.

My daughter started Kingsmead back in September 2019. Since then I have been extremely satisfied with the care and support she receives from every member of staff. My daughter is thriving being at Kingsmead. They have helped her overcome her shyness and is now growing in confidence every single day! The meals she receives are excellent and I am often quite jealous of dinners. I couldn't recommend Kingsmead Day nursery enough. Thank you for all you do.

Kingsmead is an excellent nursery/preschool, providing a combination of home from home care as well as very well-run activities and events for children and their parents. Our children have always been very happy to attend Kingsmead.
