My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 8 months old and is due to leave in September for school. She has loved her time at Hopscotch and still gets excited to go in every morning. She speaks so fondly of all the practitioners in preschool and loves to tell me about her day every
evening. I feel that her key worker was a perfect fit for my daughter and matches her energy perfectly, it's clear that they have a wonderful bond and my daughter adores her. Anything we're focussing on at home has been followed through within the nursery without needing to ask for support in these areas. The management team are active and visible throughout the setting and it's evident they have good understanding of the children as individuals. I couldn't ask for a better team of people to trust with my daughter everyday, knowing she is safe and happy when at the nursery.

E has settled in beautifully. The staff are warm and friendly. I always feel reassured that she's in the best possible care.
Im kept up to date with any concerns or issues. They also manage to nail nap times which has always been a struggle so that alone deserves a stars!

Our twins have been going to Hopscotch for the last year, and overall I am incredibly happy with the support and engagement from staff. They call or message me if there's any slight issue or concerns, and do take any concerns seriously. The twins absolutely love it there and are such happy, social
and clever little cookies, all with the help of the Hopscotch staff who are understandably a huge part of their lives.

Great nursery, my daughter loves it here, they are supportive, caring staff and they are great for development and learning. Bonus is having the app to be updated on what they have done that day and the great food they provide.

I am extremely happy with this nursery. The staff are fab and it feels like they genuinely have a great relationship with my child, he always comes home happy and excited to go into nursery. He has especially thrived in the preschool room where he has an excellent key worker who tailors activities
to his learning and development needs. I am happy with the communication from management around my child's needs and at times there has been situations I've requested more conversations and explanations around, and they have been more than happy to do that to ensure both me and my child are happy there.
Overall I will be sad to see my child leave this year and would absolutely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been at hopscotch Gosport for almost 2 years now. It is a very nurturing and loving environment where my daughter has thrived, I love seeing her come home with new skills that have been taught by some of the wonderful staff, there isn't anywhere I would rather my daughter be. She has
been from the Baby room and soon to be heading through to preschool. We have had some small issue, mostly to do with disorganisation amongst bags however we raised this concern to management who have worked hard to find the root cause of the problems and work with their staff to find a solution that leaves parents and their staff feeling happy. I am confident I can raise any issue and it will be listened too and resolved with care and professionalism. Since Georgia became manager she is constantly working to improve the environment in anyway possible, I see the nursery growing into something even better than it has been before.

My daughter has been going to Gosport Hopscotch since she was 10 months old, now 4 and leaving this year.
Her key worker works very hard with all her progress stages and keeps me updated with things to work on if anything.
The nursery app is a great way to quickly check what she has eaten in the
day and regularly updated throughout the day.
Always very quick with accident forms and phone calls which I really can't fault.
And if for any reason a member of staff didn't managed to see what happened it's always checked on CCTV, which is a massive plus side for me.
My child's safety and wellbeing is very precious to me. So I'm very grateful for this to be in place.
My daughter enjoys going in everyday and always talks about her day which is a great sign.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely care about the children. My son is always happy going in and comes home smiling, which says everything. The environment is warm, safe, and stimulating, and it's clear how much thought goes into the
activities and learning. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and reassured. We're so grateful to have found such a wonderful place and would highly recommend it to any parent.

Vienna moved here after a traumatic experience with another nursery. The staff were absolutely amazing with helping her settle in, and went above and beyond to help my anxiety around trusting people with my child. I am extremely grateful for all of the amazing staff.

The team in the under 2s unit at Hopscotch Gosport are absolutely wonderful - warm, caring, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell they genuinely enjoy being with the children and with each other; it's often full of singing, laughter, and great sensory play. The monthly observations
are lovely once you know to expect them at that frequency - thoughtful, personal, and a clear reflection of how much the key staff care.
Where things feel less positive is around management. Compared to when our older child attended, the setting feels more corporate and less connected. Communication can be unclear, and policies seem inflexible. For instance, I was charged a full day fee when only trying to move a session back by half an hour, which felt unnecessarily rigid. The fee structure (Premium Plus vs. Basic) also remains confusing. That said, the app is brilliant, and the room staff are a real credit to the nursery.

My son was at Hopscotch for 2 and a half years. Throughout he has been well supported and had excellent key workers who diligently supported his development. In the past 2 months, Hopscotch has excelled at supporting my son with understanding his move to a foreign country and the gift of a bear with
his own suitcase and passport to help with the transition, has gone above any expectations I had. My son will be able to send back photos of the bear to keep in touch with all of his Hopscotch friends, thank you!

The nursery is well organised. They are good at keeping you updated with the activities via the app. Although sometimes this can be late, and at times with not much notice for upcoming events. Daily diaries are updated promptly. Activities are tailored to meet the children's development needs. Their
personal development goals/next steps are continuously reviewed and updated with key worker, staff and family to ensure they are meeting their milestones. Time is spent outside in all weather, with appropriate clothing requested as the weather changes. Meals are well balanced, there is variety and plenty if the children require larger portions. Dietary needs, religious requirements and special occasion menu options are available.

Fantastic facilities and friendly, caring staff. Shown great flexibility for us recently and would recommend to any parents looking for a nursery/preschool.
Our son attended nursery and is now in preschool. Can speak for both departments when I say they are both great.

For the last 4 months, there has been a massive unsettling with inconsistency within staff and management. No support from a key worker, should have been with the child and a constant throughout their time at the setting.
Overall I wouldn't send my youngest there. I'll be looking elsewhere when
they're old enough to go.

My son started in the under 2 room in 2020 and has just finished Pre School to go in to school, I cannot recommend this nursery enough, the staff are just amazing, so attentive to every single child, you can tell everyone who works there takes pride and passion in their work. He had a problem with
toilet training and was diagnosed with a speech disorder, everyone in Hopscotch Day Nursery were supportive, the communication was fantastic and we were all on the same page in regards to getting him to the level he needed to be, his confidence has grown so much over this last year. He was more then ready going into to school today full of confidence and that isn't just down to us as parents but the wonderful team at Hopscotch. He was always happy when we came to collect him and the staff are so informative at the handovers ensuring that you know what you child has been up to and was always excited to go back there the next day, you couldn't leave your child in safer hands.

My granddaughter started in 2023. She loves going I like to collect her to hear all about her day, she talks about all the things she has done. The ladies are so friendly and invite you in warmly, they are keen to give you details about her day. Everyone I have dealt with has been so lovely. Thank
you one and all as my granddaughter starts school in September she will miss you all. We appreciate all you have done for her.

My son absolutely loves it there. He's thriving, coming home with something new he's learnt nearly every day. Staff are absolutely amazing and encouraging, everyone is so friendly and we are always kept informed on the app about what he's eaten, right down to nappy changes. The manager is lovely and
seems to know every child by name and her passion for working with little people is clearly translated down to the team.
I really cannot recommend the place enough, just based on how happy and smiley my son runs in the morning.

I cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful experience my child has had at this nursery. The staff are not only incredibly friendly but also highly skilled and attentive, creating a nurturing environment where children thrive. The indoor space is well-designed, offering ample room for
exploration and learning, while the outdoor area is a true delight, with playful features that encourage physical activity and imaginative play. I am consistently impressed by the dedication of the staff and the quality of care provided here. It's truly a gem of a nursery!

Hopscotch Nursery are always very informative and give me a lot of reassurance with their safeguarding procedures. The team are incredibly friendly and whenever I've given feedback about an issue, it is quickly looked at and reflected in future care.

It took my little boy a while to settle here, but the staff have all been fantastic with him, and his confidence has grown tremendously since he started.
Communication was sometimes a bit lacking when he started last year, but the app is now always updated with details of nappy changes, what he's
eaten and when he's slept by the time we pick him up at the end of the day. We also get regular photo and video updates of him enjoying himself throughout the day.
The team organised a wide variety of activities for the kids to enjoy, including lots of messy play, which he would never get the opportunity to try at home. It's also been great to see him enjoying the lovely new outdoor space lots this summer.
We've not experienced any issues, but if we had, I'm confident they would have been dealt with appropriately by the management team.
The staff are all really warm and friendly, and all seem to really, really love working with kids, which has been the most important thing for us.
