My son loves nursery, he is happy and I can tell the staff really care about him and the other children. They always have great activities for the children, they always try to get them outside each day to play. The food is amazing, and one of the things that helped me choose this nursery was because
their menus were so well planned, and they had a vegan alternative that considered the nutritional needs, and it was printed and available, which meant they had operationalised it already. They have always accomodated our dietry requirement and supported my son who is a picky eater, with safe foods they know he will eat plus offering him something to encourage him to try new foods still. The SENCO is warm and well trained, and all of the nursery staff are friendly and genuinly helpful. I know he is well cared for and safe every day. They are very consistent with applying policies around illness, and allergies etc and communications/updates are regular. My son trusts the nursery practioners.

We couldn't be happier with Kiddi Caru! Ever since starting here 9 months ago, our now 3 year old has thrived. His social skills have come such a long way & he always comes home saying he had a fun day playing with his friends and teachers. He has two food allergies and the nursery has excellent
policies in place to ensure he is safe during mealtimes.
I noticed a review below saying that they stick children in front of the tv rather than active play and that is definitely not our experience. The only time I've ever seen a tablet used was end of day and the children were watching a yoga video actively participating in doing the poses (which I thought was adorable!). The nursery staff are great with providing a wide range of activities as well as free play time for the children. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Honestly would rate 0 if I could. My daughter attended for all of 6 weeks before I removed her due to staff neglect. Within that 6 weeks she came home with nappy rash on more than one occasion, even though the nursery had been advised she had eczema and needed additional nappy changes, they were
often leaving her unchanged for between 3 and 5 hours, I have evidence of this from the app they use. Additionally on the last day she was there they ran a water play activity where the children got wet and then they left my under 2 year old in wet socks all day resulting in blisters in 4 places across both of her feet. I've been at the nursery and seen children crying and the staff ignoring them to chat or spend time with their own children who are in the same room. They also stick the children in front of the tv rather than engaging in active play. Absolutely appalling place, do not recommend, send your children elsewhere!

Can't recommend Kiddi caru hythe colchester enough!
Everyone involved in my daughters care has been excellent.
I have no worries or concerns and I know my little one is extremely well cared for whilst at nursery!
They've been so welcoming, helpful and understanding!

Kiddi Caru have been amazing with daughter. She can be quite shy and I was worried about moving her from a nursery she was familiar with but wasn't giving the best for her. Since being at Kiddi Caru her confidence has blossomed! She is always excited to go and doesn't want to leave!
The staff
have been amazing through out her time, including the settling sessions. I'm kept up to date on her day through their app and I receive an in depth handover when I go to collect her.
They also do some lovely activities to mark special occasions such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas etc. They even include a day for grandparents to come and visit too.
I would highly recommend Kiddi Caru Colchester to anyone looking for child care

My little boy has been at the nursery for approximately 9 months and he absolutely loves it. The staff are so kind and friendly. It's clear they really love the children and give the best level of care. They provide a range of nutritious and adventurous meals. He gets to engage in a huge range of
activities (arts, baking, gardening), with trips out and they have extensive outdoor areas at the nursery. He even got to have fun in the pool last week! I'm really glad he attends this nursery and would highly recommend it to anyone :)

When I found this nursery last year for daughter who was being ng tube fed this nursery got a number of staff together so they could be trained so when my daughter joined she could still have the fluids : nutrition she needed they were amazing. If they didn't know something they would contact me for
an answer instead of just guessing . The nursery and the staff are amazing with the help and support myself and my daughter have had from them. Since my daughter has had her ng tube removed they have been ensuring to let me know if she hasn't drunk or eaten enough throughout the days she is there. If any accidents when in nursery they contact you immediately. Can't fault the nursery or the staff,
They make transitions easy for the children by giving them a couple of times in the bigger room instead of just putting them there.

Such an amazing nursery the staff are amazing and so kind they are very accommodating to all needs my sons speech has come on so much since he started I couldn't be more proud of how far his come with all the support they have given us as a whole family

Myself and my partner knew this was the nursery for us from the moment we came to visit and it has exceeded our expectations every day since. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery, she is loved and treated like she is one of the staffs own. We never worry about her when she's there, she eats
good healthy meals and is doing new activities everyday. She has come on leaps and bounds with her talking, her compassion for others and her confidence in being away from us. We can't recommend our nursery more x

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Colchester has been amazing with my little girl. She's come on so much since being with them for nearly 4 years now. She comes home from nursery and will teach us new sign language she has learnt whilst being at nursery. My daughter enjoys going to nursery and will always use
positive language about the ladies who care for her and is always super excited to tell me what she's been up to when I collect her. The girls that care for her have been very supportive with some recent challenges we have faced and we couldn't be more grateful for all the support they have offered.

Lovely nursery, my daughter has thrived since starting here. All of the staff are happy and welcoming the rooms are always clean and lots of activities for the children. A large variety of food for the children to try my daughter loves coming here.

My son has autism and we needed to find a placement for him to carry out his assessments. When we visited the nursery my partner and I knew instantly that this was the one, we visited a few others and none of them lived up to Kiddi Caru's standards. Since starting at Kiddi Caru over a year ago my
son has flourished and although nonverbal I feel completely satisfied that his needs are being adequately met. My son will sit with other children for story time and meals, and this is a massive achievement for him. He refuses most meals but they are always offered regardless and only upon refusal do they offer an appropriate alternative. I do not have any negative comments about Kiddi Caru as they've just been amazing with my son, so attentive and supportive to us as parents also. The room is always clean and tidy and all children have an appropriate number of staff to interact with. If your child has additional needs of any sort I cannot recommend Kiddi Caru highly enough (harbour room).

The review isn't just for a particular month- it's a general review for the nursery. My son used to go there years ago. Then he went to school.
When he left, the Ofsted report was terrible.
However, several years passed, and we had another child. Due to Covid, we decided she should go to nursery
for social skills (she was 6mo). We decided on Kiddi Caru and was honestly the best decision.
The staff this time round is amazing; they are more like a family than working colleagues. Any issues that I have had (which aren't many, to be honest), were chatted through. I felt I was listened to, and I feel my daughter massively benefitted from attending Kiddi Karu.
The staff is so friendly, and my daughter has made some amazing friends.
I've always recommended Kiddi Karu whenever anyone asks. I genuinely feel it's such a lovely environment for kids of all ages before preschool.
My daughter only has a few weeks there before she goes to school, and I know she will miss all the staff.

My son attends the nursery and has done so for over a year now, he has so much confidence and loves coming to the nursery, the nursery has come on leaps and bounds, and I would highly recommend it to other parents. From the office down to the rooms including the kitchen staff are welcoming. My son
talks about his friends and staff at the nursery, he has some speech delays which have been supported by the staff in his room.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since April 15th. She has come on so well with her skills and development. She joined the Quayside room.
The girls that look after her are absolutely brilliant. They understand her medical needs and life skills.
My daughter is always clean and tidy on
pick up.
Their documentation is always detailed.
Every child seems to have a lot of interaction with every staff member.
The food that is offered is suitable to the children's needs.
The rooms are clean and tidy.

My glad I enrolled my child in Kiddi Caru
He's learning so fast the teachers and staffs are really amazing and my experience so far has been awesome not to worry about.

Until today my son asked me to get back to the Kiddi Curu. This shows how much he loves being there. Is a nice place and I definitely recommend this to my friends and family, and if a have more kids in the future I'm going to choose Kiddi Caru again.

My little boy needs additional support, Kiddi Caru was recommended on social media to me so me and my partner went to have a look. We left both in agreement that we did not need to look anywhere else. Since starting we have had no problems and the staff are so lovely. My boy and his key carer at
Kiddi Caru have a great bond and I can tell he enjoys going because he sometimes doesn't want to leave!
I would recommend this nursery to anyone and extremely happy with everything. I can see a strong noticeable difference in learnt behaviours and his development has sped up considerably since starting.

My daughter loves her time at nursery always so happy to attend and enjoys all the activities. I feel the nursery has taken the time to get to know my daughter and tailor activities to her favourite things. She is also learning lots.
Kiddi Caru is exactly what I need/want from a nursery space and
I will be upping the hours my daughter attends as of next month because she loves it so much.
