We love Bright Horizons at Wavendon! The staff are so great - interested, very caring and always make our child comfortable (even when we have difficult mornings saying goodbye for the day). They always support our daughter in her milestones (potty training, language development, her being bilingual). She enjoys all the food in there (very often more than at home!) and we made some new friends there, too, who we do playdates now with or attend toddler classes together. We would recommend them 100% and we wouldn't go ahead with any other nursery!

I cannot fault Bright Horizons, it's been wonderful for my two daughters. Their staff really care, the facilities are fab, especially the outdoor space, the menu is varied healthy and fresh, there is so much thought and consideration that goes into the activities and displays. So glad we chose it and were able to get a place.

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the care and support the Bright Horizons Wavendon Day Nursery and Preschool team has provided since my son started attending in September 2024. As a first-time mum, leaving him in someone else's care was a big decision but the team's warmth and reassurance made all the difference. The regular updates, photos and details about his activities, meals and routines bring me such peace of mind and it's wonderful to see him thriving. I genuinely appreciate the attention and thoughtfulness that go into making us feel connected and supported every day. Choosing Wavendon Day Nursery has been one of the best decisions for us and I'm so grateful for the fantastic experience you're giving him. Thank you!

My son has been attending the nursery since March 2024 and I've been so pleased with how well he's settled in. The staff are all friendly and my son is really comfortable with them. They do a range of activities including messy play and spend lots of time outside. I receive updates about what he's been doing including photos and observations on my child's progress which is really reassuring and informative. He really enjoys the food and even sleeps whilst he's there!

My child has been happily going to Bright Horizons Wavendon since he was 1 year old. The staff are lovely, caring and happy to be working there. The nursery has always been very good, and in the last 9 months, I have noticed a big improvement in staff retention and overall management of the setting. I have a younger child who will keep going there for another 3 years, we definitely made the right choice by going to Bright Horizons Wavendon.

Both of our children attend the setting currently in preschool 1 and 2 and have since they were a year old. They both love it there and have really flourished since joining. The staff are brilliant and encourage such a nurturing environment, which also encourages independence. The nursery has an amazing outdoor space and the children are encouraged to utilise this regardless of weather. The preschool team have done a fantastic job in preparing my eldest for starting big school in September. They are always learning new things and dedicate a lot of time to make the days interesting for them. Overall the team are brilliant and provide a fantastic environment. The food offering is extremely varied and it is rare that the kids don’t eat what is offered unlike at home!

The current team in place for pre-school and baby as well as the overall management do a really great job. They are professional and show genuine care for the children. The outdoor facilities are great and the kids spend so much time outdoors which is really nice to know. I think there could be a bit more focus on learning activities and perhaps a bit more structure at pre-school level but it is a good standard currently. Overall it’s a good nursery.

Since we have been using the nursery we have found all staff to be very friendly and welcoming. Our son feels very safe at this nursery and really enjoys the time he spends there. His speech and development was delayed before he joined but we feel more confident that he is making progress in the right direction no thanks to the staff and their hard work. The manager is really flexible and approachable and has listened to our needs very carefully and we feel she has responded to them really well. We cannot thank all the staff enough 5* all the way!

Bright Horizons offers a warm and comforting environment that my child has absolutely thrived in. The staff are consistently excellent offering tailored care and great additional advice when requested. The garden is a particular bonus and our child has enjoyed learning more about the outdoor environment including planting their own vegetables. The weekly menu is varied and has been well enjoyed by our child, they consistently try new foods they wouldn’t touch at home. I would not hesitate to recommend to any potential caregivers looking for a nursery setting.

I love this nursery and my daughter loves it too. Kept up to date on what my daughter has done during the day, what she's eaten or not eaten and if she's had any accidents, as only new to being toilet trained. There are really friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and my daughter always has a smile on her face when she talks about her day. Love the app as well, so I am kept up to date whilst working. Fantastic nursery and staff.

Our daughter loves nursery. She is always full of excitement when she comes home and loves telling us what she has been up to. The staff are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They are always full of smiles and genuinely seem so happy to see each and every one of the children each day.

I look after my grandchild a couple of times a week and collect her from the nursery. The staff have always been so friendly and I know that my grandchild is happy and loves every one of the staff. The facilities are amazing and the outdoor area is a great way of letting children explore and learn about their surroundings.

We love Wavendon Day Nursery and Pre-School. They cater to our very specific needs and are all wonderful with both myself and my daughter. We’ve been starting to look at schools and I’m dreading the day we have to say goodbye to all of these amazing humans! My daughter, being on a blended diet does make it slightly more difficult for new ideas, so really appreciate the effort they make to get my daughter eating. Wish it was cheaper but you definitely get what you pay for.

This nursery is a lovely friendly nursery with a very high level of quality care. My daughter is very happy to come in every morning with lovely staff welcoming her. She has a very strong bond with her key workers' and the rest of the staff members'. The manager is a very lovely person who always welcomes me as a parent.

Excellent nursery. My son attends and loves it. They do such a range of activities and encourage their learning so much. The staff are lovely and caring and always take such good care of him. Wide varied food options and accommodate to any needs. I was worried having a lockdown baby that he wouldn’t settle there, but the staff were so welcoming to him and now he loves going.

The staff/management and key workers are fantastic, you cannot fault them. They would do anything for you in terms of helping with any problems you may have and/or extra development ask you may have. The only reason I have given: 3* for Activities is that I haven’t really seen much evidence that the activities they do stretch more than indoor and outdoor play – Which my daughter does love, but it is pretty standard. 3* for Facilities / Outside Space and Cleanliness is due to the fact I have never been into the nursery since we are not able to. I have also given a 2* for value for money as the nursery is very expensive for what is it. It’s the staff that makes Bright Horizons a 5* place to be.

Our daughter has been attending Wavendon Bright Horizons since Summer 2019, progressing through the different rooms since she was 10 months old. The staff are friendly, engaging and genuinely seem to care for the health and well-being of the child. Our 10-month-old son is now in the process of starting the baby room. He has a severe food allergy, so naturally, as a concerned parent, I had my reservations about sending him. The management have done so much to reassure my husband and I, listening to our concerns, being patient with our son and generally putting our minds at ease. The nursery/pre-school is expensive, but as a parent, I would rather pay more and know my children love the setting and are happy and looked after. Our daughter has certainly thrived over her time there. I can’t wait to see how our son gets on.

The nursery staff in the baby and toddler room are fantastic. They have a really good relationship with our daughter and go above and beyond to make sure everything is good for her. They have given advice, provided observations, and been very supportive. The admin side of things is less impressive - not overly communicative but a small detail as the care seems good. However, the price is now astronomical. Since we signed up less than a year ago, it has increased by £5 per day to £76 which seems very high for the area and in general. There doesn’t appear to be evidence of this in any changes we have seen.

My child really enjoys nursery. The staff are very friendly, the environment seems good and my child enjoys a variety of activities. I feel that my child is safe at nursery and well looked after by the staff there.

I am delighted with Bright Horizons Wavendon Day Nursery and Preschool. My 1-year-old and 3-year-old are really happy here. My 3-year-old calls it his “friends’ house”. The staff are caring, attentive and focused on helping the children’s development. The facilities are excellent, especially the lovely gardens filled with a wide variety of play things. I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
