Up until age 3, my son's daycare was his grandparents. Needless to say the transition to a pre-school environment was difficult, however, Woodlands Day Nursery has been so supportive and within 2 months, he doesn't want to leave at the end of the day! All of the staff are incredible and I cannot say
how reassured I am of his safety and development whilst in their care. He had delayed speech and within 3 weeks his speech improved dramatically and is now just going from strength to strength - I would go as far as saying that this is mainly due to the environment at Woodlands. Every child is supported to help meet their individual needs and at their own speed. It's the little things the staff do that make the difference; providing regular catch up sessions and openly allowing parents to call if they need reassurance on how their child is - something in the early days that is priceless. All in all, a fantastic place for our sons early development - in hindsight, I wish he had gone there earlier!
