View Full Details of Fox House Day NurseryThe most amazing nursery. The staff are incredible and so hands on with the children. Definitely don't judge a book by its cover. The children here are so loved and cared for. They have a wealth of toys, creative supplies and books that they use daily. You won't find bland scandi furniture here - it's all focused on bright colours that promote child development. My son has been attending for other a year and is flourishing. He's 2 years old toilet trained and counting to 20 - something that I can only credit to this nursery. They have an old school approach, your child isn't sent home every 10 minutes because they just crack on and care for your child, providing a home from home. They have the most reasonable prices in the area and prove that a nursery doesn't just have to exist to extract money from parents. The child is put first here
Going to start with Don't judge a book by its cover- yes it not a big house like some nursery but the love and understanding of your child is on point at Fox House.. the staff are highly qualified with excellent communication. The staff learn what my son can and can't do in the first week of him starting. In the 7 months my son has attended Fox House they have help my son speech and language development, they also help with potty training and they played a big part with him achieving. He now only has nappy on for bed times. They have lots of activities for the child to do. Teaching them the alphabet and using numbers every day. My son was offered a Government school place but I'm going to keep my son in Fox House until he starts Reception next September. Highly recommended Fox House. Definitely value for money when your child is achieving there goals a lot cheaper then other nursery around the area as well.
My daughter started at this nursery aged eight months for one day per week, building up to three days a week aged sixteen months. Next month, aged three, she will attend five days a week. Like most parents, I did a lot of searching and visiting nurseries and childminders in preparation for going back to work and I was struggling to find somewhere that felt right for our little one. (I mean no disrespect to any other childcare services in the area. It is a very personal decision and sometimes an emotional process). Fox House Day Nursery is a small nursery, whose staff are dedicated, caring and who, in our experience, listen to and support the parents of the children in their care. Our daughter is excelling in her social and academic development, and while my husband and I of course focus on this at home too, the nursery nurtures this on a daily basis. I know the Ofsted rating was reduced from good (which it was when our daughter started there) to satisfactory; and I also know how upsetting that was for the staff and how hard they have all worked to improve the standards. It is visible for all to see. My personal opinion is that I would be very surprised if anything less than a good rating were given at the next inspection and I would not hesitate in sending another child of mine to this lovely, little nursery.
