View Full Details of Bright Horizons Richmond Queen's Road Day Nursery and PreschoolLoved the Christmas carol concert, beautifully sung, very well organised, staff were fantastic and children really enjoyed the tea party afterwards. My granddaughter has been attending the nursery for almost two years now and every time I see her, she tells me how much fun she is having. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nursery.
My granddaughter has been going to Bright Horizons since she was 6 months old she has enjoyed every moment at the nursery. The staff are very supportive and friendly. I would recommend this nursery to my friends.
My daughter has been attending both the breakfast and after-school clubs five days a week since September. The staff at Bright Horizons Richmond Queen's Road Day Nursery and Preschool have consistently demonstrated kindness and helpfulness, creating a nurturing environment that has greatly contributed to my daughter's positive experience. The care and attention provided by the staff have been remarkable. From the moment we drop her off at the breakfast club to the end of the day at the after-school club, the educators have shown genuine concern for her well-being. Their warmth and friendliness have not only made the transition to school smoother for my daughter but have also eased any initial worries we may have had as parents. The positive rapport between the staff and the children is evident, fostering a sense of belonging and security. The open communication channels between parents and educators have also been reassuring, allowing us to stay informed about our daughter's progress. I would highly recommend Queen's Road.
My son has been full-time at Queen's Road since he was a baby and he has thrived in their caring and supportive environment. From the baby room, through the toddler room, and into pre-school, he has developed his confidence and social skills alongside gaining a love of books and balance bikes! The staff build strong connections with each child and even in a nursery environment, treat each one as a little individual. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone and although I’m sad to be finishing my current maternity leave, know that I will be leaving my second son in the best possible hands next month!
My girl has been attending Bright Horizons Richmond Queen's Road Day Nursery and Preschool for six months now and she absolutely loves it. The team is kind and good communicators. We really recommend the nursery. The management team is great.
Our son attended Queens Road Nursery in lockdown as he is autistic and is classed as a vulnerable child. He usually attends another bright horizons nursery but they were not open during the lockdown. We were at first a bit apprehensive sending him to a nursery that he didn’t know, however, I shouldn’t have worried at all as the staff at Queens Road nursery were absolutely wonderful. The support, care and love that they showed our son was overwhelming, especially in such difficult times. He absolutely loved going each day and it was sad when we eventually had to leave and he had to go back to his normal nursery. I can’t thank all the staff at Queens Road nursery enough. I was most impressed with the amount he developed during this time and the extra supper he was given due to his additional needs. I would highly recommend this nursery.
During lockdown, our daughter was cared for by the incredible staff of Queens Road. It was a frightening time for everyone but she was quickly put at ease by the calm professional staff. We felt in excellent hands at all times and communication was particularly strong. We recommend this nursery and we are always happy to see the staff again. They were a very important part of my daughter's development and we will always be grateful to them.
The staff of the nursery are excellent! They are taking very good care of the children. The children are blossoming, learning every day and gaining confidence. Facilities were a bit old, but improvements are made. Food can be healthier and of greater variety.
Our daughter started full time in the baby room at Richmond Day Nursery in Jan 2018. Throughout the settling in sessions and her first couple of weeks after starting she really struggled to settle, particularly in terms of naps and eating. The staff at the nursery were very supportive and reassuring, suggesting different options to try and help her to sleep. This also came at the time I was returning to work and they were also supportive to me, asking how I was finding work and talking about ways to help the transition. They had a 'can do' attitude and assured me that my daughter would settle eventually, which she now has. Nearly 3 months on she absolutely loves nursery and naps and eats well. The staff are so caring and loving towards my daughter that it makes it so much easier for me to leave her every day, knowing that she will be very well looked after. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery for many reasons but especially due to the lovely staff.
My son attends this nursery and he is a happy and healthy child who likes to go to the nursery and enjoys spending time there with his friends and teachers. The staff are nice and kind, they invent various activities for children and let them explore things and develop imagination.
My son has been at this nursery since September 2017. The settling process was great - the staff really wanted to get to know his character and likes/dislikes to help him gain confidence in his new surroundings. He is in the preschool room and as a summer born child I was worried about his readiness for school but having been there for 4 months he has progressed enormously in both confidence and reading/writing skills. He loves it so much that when we come to collect him we are often told off for coming too early! We are now in the process of settling our youngest child into the baby room and again are finding the settling process to be very empathetic and child-led which is very reassuring. Also having our eldest in a local school means the location is excellent for us.
Our son has attended since the age of 7 months (so around 16 months and counting, varying between 3 and 5 days per week), and has been very well cared for. Staff are all friendly, helpful, welcoming and accommodating of changing circumstances. The nursery environment is well structured, safe and clean and the kids seem to have plenty to keep them entertained, inclusive of activities led by the carers. Would recommend as a reliable and safe nursery from a very early age.
We are delighted with the way the carers look after our 20-month-old daughter - they have a very personalised approach and cater to each child's needs carefully. The children are stimulated throughout the day with various activities, which is balanced by a good nutritive food menu and sleep/rest times. There is good communication within staff members and also between the nursery and parents/carers. The management is also very forthcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend the nursery.
Really caring staff and management. Very good baby and toddler rooms. Conveniently located in Richmond.
Fantastic, friendly, caring, encouraging nursery. My daughter has been at Asquith Richmond for two years and loves it. She has learned so many new skills and is brilliantly looked after by the manager and her team.
We have been impressed with the care provided at this nursery and her team have supported our daughter’s development over the last two years. Our daughter is happy and has established real friendships with her key workers and our second child will be starting in March. I have no problem in recommending this Nursery.
My son has attended the nursery since he was nine months old. His development is vast compared to other people’s children we know. I strongly believe this is encouraged by the nursery. My son adores his teachers and has great relationships with key workers, which makes me feel at ease leaving him at the nursery for such long periods of time. They helped him settle in all 3 stages of his growth, from babies to toddlers, to nursery, with extreme ease and for that, I’m very grateful. Communication between nursery and parents is very good and I’m really pleased with the nursery overall.
My daughter has been at the nursery since she was seven months old - well over a year now. It's a huge step, at first, trusting what feels like a bunch of strangers with your child, but we have never, ever doubted our decision. All of the staff are well trained, approachable and (above all) caring. The nursery manager is first rate and an excellent communicator. Our daughter comes home every evening excited and jabbering on about her day and we know she's well looked after. The facilities are well maintained and varied and the food choices are great - way more interesting than we provide at home. A truly first-rate place. Due to the location, it was never going to be the cheapest place in the world, but it is well priced compared to its local rivals.
My two daughters went to Asquith Richmond Nursery from the age of nine months until they both started school. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. The quality of staff, the excellent service, the cleanliness of the rooms, the ingeniosity of activities... and overall, the sheer love given to the girls over four years is extraordinary. The staff who looked after the girls will always be part of our family and have given them the very best start in life, accompanying us through every little and big step they took, giving them the confidence and skills they need to start big school. I was in tears the day my youngest 'graduated', not just because my child was no longer a baby, but at the thought of not seeing the staff every day. A very very special place.
Both our daughters started Richmond Day Nursery in the baby room and have progressed through all the rooms to nursery room and preschool. Overall we have been very happy with our experience, the nursery provides a very caring environment, with some really lovely staff and we are extremely pleased with the development and progress of both girls. They look forward to nursery and talk enthusiastically about their friends, teachers and various activities. We are so pleased that we chose the nursery for our girls!
