My daughter has been attending Maythorne Cottages for some time now. The staff are wonderful with her and the other children in the class. The level of care and attention to detail is very evident. We are kept up to date with daily activities and weekly plans.

Our child is thriving at this nursery and always looks forward to attending. The outside space is well-maintained and provides plenty of opportunity for outdoor play, while the indoor facilities are inviting and stimulating. Learning is child-led, which suits our child well, and play workers
reinforce lessons introduced at home. The nursery offers a wide range of resources and equipment that seem to keep the children engaged. Staff are genuinely caring, patient, and unphased by challenges, creating a reassuring environment. Activities are varied and well thought out, helping with both development and enjoyment. Meals appear to be balanced, nutritious, and enjoyed by the children. Management are approachable, friendly, and responsive. The setting is kept clean and tidy, and we feel that safeguarding is taken seriously. Overall, we feel we're receiving excellent value for money and are very happy with the care and experience provided.

My son has been attending Maythorne Cottages since October 2024 and he absolutely loves it!
As a first-time Mum, I was very nervous leaving my child but from the settling-in stages to now, all of the staff have been so supportive and very professional. The management team is always very welcoming
and available to answer questions. All of the staff give great updates on your child's activities and progress. Great food menu, no concerns about eating and stimulating, educational and cultural activities throughout the week help with your child's development. I've seen noticeable positive changes in my son's development since he started and I feel at ease with him being there for such long days knowing he's so well cared for. Thank you to all of the team for all of the hard work you do.

We have been really happy with the care our little boy has received since he started attending the nursery in October 2024 when he was 10 months old. The manager is so lovely to deal with and has a friendly face each morning for all the parents and children, greeting the children by name, as do the
large majority of all other staff. The staff in his room are attentive and pleasant and now he has settled and enjoys his time there. It is good to know he is in safe hands.

We are very happy with our child's experience at the nursery. The only issue we have had is in regards to changes in room and key workers which were not communicated with a lot of advanced warning. This made the adaptation to a new room more difficult for us as parents and our child.
Overall, our
child really enjoys their time at the nursery, staff are exceptional and we wouldn't choose any other nursery in the local area.

Maythorne Cottages is wonderful. The team have looked after our little girl so well. We really like the app and how we can see what she gets up to throughout the day. Our little one now runs into the room excited to see her keyworker which is so lovely to see! The 30-minute walk to the nursery is
worth it for us knowing that she's in a safe and happy place!

The nursery is a very welcoming place for all kids. They pay so much attention and always update parents daily about the day's activities including concerns and progress. The staff are very sweet and caring which makes the nursery the best environment for my child to be in. I love the nursery.

Brilliant attentive staff, very accommodating to personal requests to make the child happy. Taking regular trips outside, great communication and very proactive with feedback. Started in the baby room and the team is very flexible to meet any needs of the child. Staff is open to focus on any
development area you wish to prioritise. Daily updates and pictures of the learning and activities at the nursery which is nice.

My daughter has been in Bright Horizons Maythorne Cottages since she was 9 months old (now 17 months) and they have been fantastic throughout.
They are thoughtful, patient and provide the best care for our daughter. We simply couldn't ask for more. I cannot thank the staff enough for their efforts
and how they have looked after our daughter - I would recommend them to any parent.

My son has been attending Bright Horizons Maythorne Cottages Day Nursery and Preschool for around eighteen months now. He absolutely loves it. He is bouncing through the door when I take him and he is always gleefully happy when I pick him up. I wouldn't hesitate to come here if I were to have a
second child. The management is fantastic, friendly and always accommodating where they can be. All the staff are lovely and I'm so pleased with how they've cared for and educated my son.

My children have been attending Maythorne Cottages for just over a year. They’ve loved their time in the nursery and learned a huge number of new skills - things they surprise us with constantly. The staff at the nursery have made the kids and we feel welcome from day one - you get the sense the
staff really care and bond with the children. The nursery hours are a real help to busy parents, and the app gives a great insight into what the kids are doing, eating, when they are sleeping and so on. We’ve had a great experience at Maythorne.

We started our daughter at the nursery in November 2023, for settling sessions and now she goes for 3 days a week. The staff are really accommodating and welcoming. We are so happy with the way they guided us through the settling and now our daughter enjoys her time at the nursery. We like the
structured routine that is given to her along with a lot of skill development. Most important for us is the level of communication with the parents each day. We get to follow her day through the app and get a debrief every evening when we go to pick her up! Keep up the great work, we are very happy that we chose Bright Horizons. My son joined the nursery June 2023 and I have no complaints. The manager and her team are outstanding. Friendly and so accommodating. The manager is always so cheerful and her smile is contagious. I am very happy we chose Bright Horizons.

Since my daughter has been at Maythorne we have had a great experience. So much care and attention is given. It feels like she is treated as an individual and is observed well! My daughter is always very happy when she returns from a day at nursery.

My child goes to this nursery 1 day a week and I find the staff so welcoming. On arrival all the staff know my son’s name and welcome him and his baby sister (who is due to start next year). He loves all the food which is a very varied and often wants additional portions! The activities he does are
fantastic and fun and whenever we pick him up he always have a smile on his face. The staff are very caring and at pick up we get a full run down of the day. Even though we only attend one day a week we feel that they give us their full attention and support. On paper this nursery may appear expensive but it’s worth every penny!

The nursery has been highly proactive in communicating what goes on at the nursery. The outdoor space is very nice with plenty of areas to explore. The staff all work extremely hard to create a caring and safe learning environment

The staff have been fantastic and are always so helpful and friendly. My child loves going in every day and it is great to see her so happy in there. She has learned loads from the staff. I would highly recommend them. They really take care of the kids and it’s not just a job for them.

The staff have been fantastic and are always so helpful and friendly. My child loves going in every day and it is great to see her so happy in there. She has learned loads from the staff. I would highly recommend them. They really take care of the kids and it’s not just a job for them.
