View Full Details of The Eveline Day and Nursery Schools Ltd (Chillerton Road)We moved our son here from another nursery where we weren't completely happy, and it's been a great decision. He started in Unit 2 and is now in Unit 4 - the staff have been consistently warm, patient and caring. They take time with the children and really support their development. He's grown in confidence, is better at expressing his needs, and even eats a much wider range of food now! They focus on fine motor skills and school prep, and he loves taking part in sports day and the nativity. The app is really useful for seeing what they're up to each day. We're very happy with the care and support he's received.
We have been so very happy with The Eveline Day and Nursery Schools. Our son attended the Boulevard in Balham (including during the tricky pandemic years) and our daughter has been at Seely Hall for the last year. Both children have settled easily, progressed quickly and simply flourished in their time with the nurseries. Our daughter (currently in unit 3) now adores nursery, loves the food and staff and comes home full of excitement with all that she has been doing in the day. It really feels like an extension of our family and we are so grateful to have them on our doorstep.
The most nurturing nursery with the loveliest staff. A small, cosy setting but with a wide range of activities and experiences. My son and daughter have thrived there. From the first settling days, the staff have shown warmth and compassion. You know your child is in safe hands. Wouldn't change anything!
Our 3-year-old has attended this wonderful nursery since he was 10 months old and baby number 2 is on the list for next year. He loves his time at nursery, lots of effort is put into the daily activities and the home-cooked food always sounds delicious and he eats well. All of the staff are brilliant and the nursery is very well managed.
My son went to Eveline Seely Hall for approximately 2.5 years. The start was fantastic - the staff were lovely, very involved and caring, and my son quickly bonded with his teachers and the children. Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse once my son moved to Unit 4 (aka pre-schoolers group). There was a lot of staff turnover, any simple requests made to staff in the morning were not effectively communicated to the afternoon staff, updates became rarer and more superficial, discipline principles became inconsistent across members of staff etc. The quality of the food provided to the children declined as well - lots of jam sandwiches, cakes, cupcakes, lollies, crumpets, and even Quavers. Dealing with the central office has been very painful as well, it took a lot of reminders to get on the newsletter emailing list, have DD set up etc. Their fees are significantly higher than other local nurseries and there’s an additional hidden cost for a weekly sports class.
Both my children have attended Seely Hall, it’s the best nursery we have ever experienced. Our children have been well looked after by the manager and her team. The staff in each unit are so caring and nurturing. Highly recommended.
Seely Hall is the most wonderful nursery and I cannot fault anything about how they care for my daughter, communicate with us as parents or run their business. Over the past two and a half years, (including the tough pandemic times) they have supported our family so well and gone above and beyond in every way.
My daughter is incredibly happy at Seely Hall and is always asking when she is going next! The staff are all so friendly and engaging to her but also to the rest of the family at drop off/pick up. She has allergies and they have been really clear and thorough in their policies around this, giving us great confidence in their care. She has lots of fun because they do a range of activities and regularly play outside. It is so lovely now she has enough language to share at home with us a bit more of her nursery experiences (and the songs she's learnt).
The Eveline Day Nursery in Seeley Hall is the most amazing nursery. My daughter loves it, so much there it's actually hard to get her to leave at the end of the day. Every single member of staff are so friendly and warm. I am totally confident my daughter is taken care of in every way. The people at The Eveline Day Nursery, Seeley Hall are what makes this place.
Having had to return to work early from maternity leave, it was hard for me to feel comfortable leaving my 5 month old with other people but from the very beginning, the nursery has been amazing. They had a very comprehensive settling in programme and the staff clearly love children. This doesn't feel like just a "job" to them. My daughter is really happy here and so am I.
Well managed, well-trained staff whose personalities match their roles.
My daughter is currently at Eveline Day Nursery, Chillerton Road and my son has previously been at this nursery also. The nursery provides a safe, friendly and loving environment for my children. All of the staff go the extra mile to care for the children and give them a lot of love and support in all stages of their development, we absolutely love them and in fact, my daughter regularly tells me how much she loves her key worker. The children learn so much not just educationally but also socially and all provided by these amazing members of staff. The nursery gives them the best start before going to school. This nursery is wonderful and I wouldn’t have been happy to put my children anywhere else.
My son has been going to the nursery for a number of years and I am delighted with the care and support he receives from all the teachers. The standard of learning is wonderful and he has excelled so much.
My son has been attending The Eveline Day Nursery (Chillerton Road) for four months and loves it. The settling in period was spread over two weeks and was very carefully managed which gave me comfort but also, most importantly, allowed my son to get used to it gradually. The managers are visible and extremely involved in the day to day care of the children. This was a pleasant surprise and reassuring. My son's key carer is fantastic with him, his face lights up when he sees her in the morning and I feel confident she looks after him well. The food also is nutritious and home cooked and they avoid sugary desserts.
My child is very happy at the nursery. The staffing is stable, and they are very engaged in my child's development.
Our son has attended this nursery since he was 8 months old and has always really enjoyed his time here. The staff are caring and compassionate and we feel confident in the care they provide. We are always amazed at parents evenings, the amount of different activities the children get to do! This is a really lovely nursery and when you walk in, you can sense he's happy. All the kids are here. Great staff, brilliant nursery, highly recommended!
The Eveline Day and Nursery provides a great, loving, educational environment for its children. I have two children attending the nursery and both have settled very well and thrived at every stage of their time here. Regardless of which unit your child is in all staff know all kids and genuinely care about their well-being.
We have been very pleased with The Eveline Day and Nursery Schools. We were initially attracted by its excellent local reputation, but also by the open-plan layout. I loved that my little one could see all the others and similarly that everyone could see her. It has a feeling of openness that many other nurseries lacked that comes partly from the environment but also from the atmosphere that this creates. It is quite a small nursery compared to some others nearby and that appealed to us, as a result, our daughter seems to know all the staff, the children and their parents! She is learning and developing very well, advanced for her age. It's a smaller thing, but when they eat 3 meals a day there, I like that the food is freshly prepared on site. Quality and freshness of those meals matter. Overall our daughter loves it there. So much so that her favourite game to play at home is 'nursery' and we have to pretend to be her favourite members of staff - that alone should be a testimonial!
