View Full Details of Little Elms Daycare Nursery LeeMy daughter is in pre-school and has been here full-time since she was nine months old. The actual facilities are great and there is loads of outdoor space at all ages for the children to enjoy, as well as the fact that they take the kids on trips to the park and the local library every now and again. The staff are excellent - she has been so cared for in every room she has been in, and she learns so much that I am genuinely amazed at the end of the day.
We've been really impressed by Little Elms Lee Bluebird baby room and now the toddler room. The staff are incredibly caring and provide you with a daily update on pick up. We also received regular updates via the app update throughout the day. Creative activities are put on with monthly individual aims for each child under the curriculum. There are regular parents evening and other special activities such as Christmas song time. Earlier this year our child underwent an operation and the nursery were very supportive both before and after with her recovery. The nursery recently changed to using a nursery catering company for catering - the food is super healthy and nutritious! Management are highly professional and responsive.
My little one has been at Little Elms Lee for nearly 2 years and he loves it. The staff are brilliant, attentive and great at communicating with us. The facilities are good and there's lots of time spent in the garden which is super important to our little one. Would highly recommend this nursery.
Little Elms have asked for reviews here to win half a day childcare! My child is broadly happy and safe but under 5 and is not the most discerning customer. LE are blessed with some fantastic caring staff but rely heavily on bank staff. There was been no room manager in PreSchool for over 6 months. I have little confidence in management to give structure or communicate effectively and find many parents, including myself, chasing for improvements.
My son started at Little Elms Lee, in their 'Bluebirds' room, when he was 9months old. He is now 19m old. Overall, we've had a great experience over the last 10months. The staff have been superb: caring, gentle, patient, warm, and professional - they honestly do amazing job. My son has benefited hugely from their experience and knowledge, and I (as a first time mother) have learned a lot from them too. My son's development has been enhanced in profound ways by being part of the Little Elms community. When problems or issues crop up (which is inevitable) I've found the branch management team to be helpful, compassionate, and proactive about sorting things out.
I have 2 children at Little Elms in Lee, one in the baby room and one in preschool. My eldest started in the baby room and has built wonderful relationships and bonds with several staff members. They are incredibly caring, passionate and fun! I love that the children have alot of garden space, enjoying plenty of time outdoors and I often bump into them on trips to the local park and ducks. The food is healthy and diverse and the app is great for ease of communication. I can also keep an eye on nappy changes, nap times and how much food they have eaten. Both of my children love going to nursery and I feel at complete ease that they are happy and in safe hands.
The nursery facilities are great, it's very spacious. They are understaffed so there is a lot of bank staff that helps around who don't really engage much with children. They get their food from an outside company that is not great. Management doesn't listen. I wouldn't sign up my child there again.
The carers are great and I always felt my child was in good hands. The management has lots to improve, particularly the central management team. Communication is overall poor and parents often find out about changes at the last minute. In my experience, you have to spend a lot of time reminding them of conversations you had on issues (otherwise they keep charging you), keeping an eye on fee invoices, etc. The staff provide lots of interesting and fun activities for the children and my child always enjoyed it.
My older daughter left Little Elms Lee in 2019 after 3 happy years, and my youngest is just about to leave for school after another 4 wonderful years there. She absolutely loves it and has thrived in the pre school room. The staff are amazing, they are caring and enthusiastic, always thinking about the children and ensuring they are having fun as well as providing learning opportunities and a safe and secure environment. They have really prepared her for the transition to reception. Communication is good, both from staff in terms of daily updates and management in terms of wider updates. The room itself is lovely and well equipped with a fantastic outside area. I would 100% recommend Little Elms Lee.
My daughter attends Little Elms Lee and absolutely loves it. The staff who work there are fantastic. They are extremely caring and get to know each individual child and their needs. This extends to management, too; they are extremely communicative and always go above and beyond to help. The rooms and activities are great and my daughter has made so many lovely friends. She is so happy to attend every week, and our minds are put at ease as we know she is in an environment we trust. I would wholeheartedly recommend Little Elms Lee as a fantastic childcare provider. We love them!
We have had a great time with Little Elms. My youngest daughter continues to love going in every week. She has made excellent relationships with the staff there who are caring and fun. She has shown great development in her milestones whilst there and continues to grow socially. My older daughter thrived in the preschool room which set her up perfectly for reception. Would definitely recommend Little Elms Nursery.
My son has attended Little Elms Lee for 6 months and we have had a consistently excellent experience. All of the staff are friendly and supportive, and he particularly loves his key worker. The nursery go out of their way to celebrate a diverse range of holidays and events, and the app to keep us up to date with food and naps is fantastic.
We love Little Elms. From the very good feedback 'another mum' told me about Little Elms - to the moment I first time spoke with the manager looking for a vacancy for my daughter until she physically started attending - they made us feel very welcome. The staff are all very friendly, my daughter enjoys attending the preschool class. The food is delicious (as my daughter told me). Overall very happy!
Our son, who is 2 years old joined Little Elms Daycare Nursery Lee back in January in the Hummingbirds room, so he has been there for about 6 months now. From when he started to now, we have seen that he is really developing well. He absolutely loves his key worker and his Nursery Manager and is so happy when we drop him off for the day. He initially used to cry when he first started, but now he smiles and really enjoys going in to have his day there. He gets involved with lots of the activities indoors, and as he loves to climb, he more often than not gets some quality time outside which is great! I would highly recommend this Nursery to all my family and friends.
My eleven-month-old daughter recently started at Little Elms Catford Green and we are really happy so far. She had six settling-in sessions building up from one to three hours (I joined the first one) which we thought was comprehensive, especially for such little ones in the baby room. The staff are honestly all so nice to her. She has a lovely key worker and is also getting to know all the staff in the room which I think is important for her to feel comfortable. She's been given one-to-one attention when she's been tearful/uncertain, but yesterday at pickup she was playing more independently and apparently she had slept at lunchtime - wahoo! - so I can see she is already happy. I'm trying to raise a baby without single-use plastic and the nursery have been really open about cloth nappies and using a potty.
Little Elms offers a brilliant learning space for children to thrive in which is supplemented by the support of fantastic staff throughout the various rooms. Our daughter loves attending and the learning gains she has made in the 2.5 years are exceptional. Outside space for all rooms is great and offers a good variety of fun and educational-related activities. Food is nutritious, interesting and again, offers good diversity in terms of what's on offer. Big shout out to the Manager and the Deputy Manager and the other members of the management team for guiding the nursery through the pandemic. Communications throughout have been clear, concise and they've been transparent in their COVID-19 planning and measures since the start.
Our two year old daughter started at Little Elms Lee in the Robins room in October and she absolutely loves it here, as do we! The team are excellent from the keyworker and room staff through to the settings management. They have been so caring and considerate, not only to our daughter but to our whole family in the settling in period. There is so much warmth from everyone who works here. They’re also so wonderful with my older five year old daughter who comes to drop off/pick up her sister. We’ve been blown away by the pastoral care as well as the functional activities / learning they provide. My daughter is excited to go to nursery and see her friends (small and grown-up). She even tried to climb back through the gate this week as she didn’t want to come home! We are so pleased we found Little Elms and highly recommend to other families looking for a new setting for the children.
My 1 year old has been at Little Elms for six months now and we have had nothing but positive experiences. My sons key worker and all the other carers in his room are fantastic! They are so enthusiastic, passionate and kind. They have a genuine love for the job and this is reflected in the wonderful care they give my son. My eldest son, who is now at school, went to Little Elms for three years. We had a great experience at each stage of his development and with each of his key workers. The management staff are extremely supportive and efficient and everyone works well together as a team. We feel very lucky to have had the care and support from Little Elms and I would highly recommend. My kids love/have loved it there.
We’ve had our boys go to Little Elms in Greenwich then Lee. They were both excellent. We were particularly happy with the quality of the staff and the abundant energy they gave to the kids. The space is well organised and plentiful. Great feeling, great vibes, they are both highly recommended.
Both my sons have attended Little Elms Daycare, my youngest is in his final year there. We have all been very happy with the care they have received there. The children have a large amount of indoor and outdoor space to play in, lots of activity corners to explore and Little Elms has always been very good at organising visiting teachers like ceramics or computer skills. My boys made great friends there, in a very inclusive and stimulating environment and my eldest was raring to go for his first year at school, thanks to Little Elms’ preschool. Thank you to all at Little Elms.
