My son absolutely loves going to nursery! He is always so excited at drop off, and always looks to be having a great time in photos of activities. On days when he doesn't want to get out of bed, I will say to him "Do you want to go see J?" (his favourite staff member) and suddenly he will be very
excited to get up and go. If I could rate the staff 6 stars, I would - they genuinely make KC Caldecotte the best place.
My only gripe, and it's so small in the grand scheme of things, is that I wish the outdoor space was just a bit bigger, as my little boy is like a collie or some other working dog - he is always running around, doing laps! But the nursery is located on the lake, and the staff do take them out on walks to the lake often, so that does make up for it in a way.
Overall, there is nowhere else I would rather my little one be.

They're a fantastic nursery. I've really seen my toddler develop so well whilst being there physically and verbally she really enjoys time with her peers and all her staff members I can tell that she's truly happy and really values her time being spent there we also get great daily update including
photos. The recent report we got of our daughter's progression was brilliant and very detailed.

It is an absolutely wonderful Nursery. The staff are amazing and our kids are happy going in, confident and play well with others.
But
The "airlock" system that they have for drop-off and pick up can be at times very drawn out. The queue can sometimes be 9 children "deep" and we have timed it
before at close to 20 minutes (this was only in a queue of 5!).
They sometimes think on their feet and exchange children at one of the side gates which is just off the hallway. This is really helpful and requires proactive management and I assume a spare set of hands. It happens naturally in warmer months at pickup as kids in garden but does get used in winter too.
We would love them to be more proactive and advise parents that if there is something to discuss, medicine to handover etc that they will be taken to the office. Or if a child isn't ready to leave, they leapfrog the queue with the gate.
We love this place but they need to change the system.

Our son has been enrolled at Kiddi Caru Caldecotte since November 2025 and we couldn't be happier with the service we've received. Everyone is so friendly, the setting is excellent and he has thrived. His confidence has improved so much and he's developed at such a fast rate since joining the
nursery, we are so impressed. All of the caregivers are exceptional and we're really happy our son is in such a fun, safe and educational environment.

Best decision we ever made two send both of our children here! They have been nothing but loving, caring and supportive for over 5 years now and both our children have thrived with them and enjoyed being a part of the nursery!

Every member of staff is so incredibly kind, understanding and supportive. I was so anxious when my daughter started nursery and the staff listened to each and every concern i had and made me feel at such ease. They have picked up my daughter's routine, ques and likes/dislikes so well and are
genuinely happy to see her when she arrives. The staff take the time to keep us so well informed and updated using their wonderful App. The admin and registration process was handled so smoothly and delicately, with vital information provided to me that i wouldn't have known otherwise. My daughter has developed exponentially since starting nursery and we are stunned at least once a week with a new skill or word she has learned. My daughter is exposed to a wonderful variety of food from the menu, more so than she would ever have experienced without the nursery. I am so very thankful to Caldecotte Kiddi Karru

From the first day that my girls started this school, they have had nothing but positive things to say and that make me as a mother feel at ease when I'm at work. In addition, their attention to detail and their transparency with my involvement when my child is unwell or has had a fall for example
is commendable. I feel though I am there at that moment I feel present.
The fact that my children ask to go to school on days when they aren't in school is a reflection of their hard-work and dedication to each child .
Lastly, I've noticed that since being there my 4 year old's emotional expression has increased and my 2 year old is utilising more words and is confident in play. I am appreciative of their input x

We can't speak highly enough of Kiddi Caru Caldecotte. We have been part of the family for over seven years now with both our children starting when they were three months old. From the moment we started we felt a warmth from everyone working there, they've looked after our tiny babies all the way
through to them leaving the nest and going to reception at school. They've guided us through the early challenges of weaning and toilet training, when we didn't have a clue what we were doing. They've helped the children to be inquisitive in their learning and independent. They've guided them through emotional ups and downs with the love and care as if they were their own. The attention to detail has always been so impressive, the homely touches of making their own play equipment like mud kitchens and the entrance to the nursery following the seasonal themes has always felt above and beyond. A lovely nursery with lovely people making it feel like a home from home.

My daughter started nursery last year. All the staff have been really helpful and communicating to me throughout the day how she is doing! She has settled really well and loves going in to the nursery.

My son has been going to this nursery for 4 months and I am so happy we chose to send him to Caldecotte. The staff are amazing with him and also supported myself and him with the settling process. He settled so well and much faster than I expected, this I believe is down to the staff and how he has
been treated and cared for by all that work here. He is happy when he is dropped off and is happy to go to the girls, he is happy when he is collected and he is well fed and loves his food. He has made friends which is lovely to see on the regular updates I receive on the app I have. The nursery has an amazing garden for him to explore and also has lots of different resources for him to play with. The rooms of the nursery are open and bright and have lots of different, natural everyday resources to entice play and imagination. My son has become so confident and has progressed so much since he has been here and I cannot thank the management and staff enough for everything they do.

Absolutely thrilled with Kiddi Caru Day Nursery. As a mother, it was incredibly important to me that my child was in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The staff are all so caring and professional.
I appreciate the variety of activities they offer, from arts and crafts to outdoor play,
which keeps my little one engaged and excited to go. I also love the clear communication from the staff, either at the end of the day or via the app.
I can see Kiddi Caru fosters a sense of community, and I'm so grateful for the warm, friendly atmosphere. It's reassuring to know my child is in such capable hands, especially with 5 staff members in particular.
I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a place where their child can truly thrive!

We are very happy with the nursery, all staff and management team are brilliant and we knew it was the right choice the moment we first viewed the nursery. Our daughter started in January when she was 11 months old and they have been great in helping her settle in and supporting her. She enjoys
being there and they do many activities which is great for her development. Communication with the team is great as well as the facilities and resources provided. We highly recommend Kiddi Caru at Caldecotte.

I cannot write a more glowing review and feel so lucky that we found Kiddi. Our child has been attending for 13 months since aged 14 months. The absolute joy and excitement he has about going to Nursery is the best measure of the amazing care, fun and nurture they provide. Each room and garden is
beautifully set up and sparks wonder and joy. Having so many rooms is unique and supports development with peers at appropriate ages and stages. He has developed so much and grown in confidence through the many varied learning opportunities, well-managed transitions, and strong key-worker relationships. Every member of staff is lovely, friendly and show genuine care. Management have gone above and beyond to accommodate our changing circumstances. Communication is excellent, supported by a brilliant IT platform enabling live updates of your child's day. As a parent I could not ask for more. My child adores Nursery and I have complete faith in the staff and setting.

My son has been attending this nursery for 5 months and I can't fault them at all. They supported myself and my son so well when he first started, which has led to him being really happy there. All the staff are lovely and kind and my son seems to know everyone even if they don't work directly with
him, it's such a positive and friendly environment. I love the updates I get of what he's been doing and I can see that he has a great time there. I am so glad I chose them to take care of my son.

We were very nervous to send our 1-year-old to nursery last September, worrying about how he would settle etc. The staff were great and the overall experience for us has been outstanding.
Right from day one, when we visited the nursery for viewing, settling sessions and after six months, that is
today, the staff have shown the same excitement to look after our little one.
Our boy started learning lots of new things and thanks to the professional approach of the staff which is helping him with personal development.
Also, the nursery is very accommodating of ad-hoc requests, unfortunately, we had a few situations where we had to change times, like leave the child for extra time etc., and the nursery was brilliant in responding to our requests and accommodated us as much as they could.
Overall, very happy with Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Caldecotte and would highly recommend it.

We are really happy with the care our child receives here. Really professional, caring individuals who take the time to know the family as well as the child they care for.
Loads of space and a nice play area inside and out. Right on the lake too.
We like the level of different rooms they have
available.
Our child loves going and gets so excited every week and comes home happy. Has been attending nearly a year now.
Always so welcoming and helpful.
The communication is spot on with the app too.

Could not feel more comfortable and at ease sending my son to Kidd Caru. He has excelled so much since starting and always leaves full of life and with a smile on his face. He adores the girls that look after him and I couldn’t be more grateful. Incredibly accommodating and really friendly team.

Brilliant nursery. My daughter joined Kiddi Caru when she was 11 months old, she is now 3 and absolutely loves it there. The staff are the best, always helpful, friendly and caring and the management team are always on hand should you need them. Nothing is ever an issue, very flexible and will
accommodate where they can. 10/10 recommend.

We would 100% recommend this nursery, they are brilliant and have looked after my boy since he was 9 months old. The nursery is always clean and has a good range of food (Promoting good eating habits).
The communication through the app is excellent, to know what he eats/doesn't eat (when he used to
wear nappies you would know all about nappy changes etc.). We receive nice updated pictures and it's good to see what activities have been planned. I would say the price range is a little above average but worth every penny.

I have two children who attend Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Caldecotte now. They both settled in brilliantly with no issues. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The nursery is extremely accommodating, and we have been able to increase our hours quickly when needed. My eldest often surprises us with
something she has learnt at nursery. We love the app and being able to see photos and updates of the children.
