Having moved our 2 year old from a sister nursery upon opening due to living closer to the Charlton Kings nursery, we are delighted that the same ethos and standards are evident in all aspects of the nursery, if not more so. A smaller intake has helped our youngest grow in confidence exponentially. The facilities have been well thought out and encourage independence where applicable. They continually invest in the children's development and wellbeing. Children are kept engaged on so many levels, I often have to bribe or drag my littlest and eldest away on pickup as they never want to leave! We're always welcomed on drop offs/pick ups and even staff who aren't in my daughter's room will always make an effort to engage with both my children. Credit to all the amazing staff who go above and beyond to create the nurturing environment my daughter is thriving in, and to the brilliant management team who are actively involved, so approachable and kind

We are so pleased that we chose Berkhampstead Day Nursery Charlton Kings for our daughter. The management team and nursery room leads and staff are incredibly caring and supportive and the atmosphere at the nursery is like a home from home for the children. The staff clearly spend a great deal of time planning varied activities for the children, often themed around events taking place in the wider world, for example national and international celebrations. The facilities are of a very high standard and very well maintained. The children get to spend lots of time outdoors.

Our child is loving the new nursery. It provides an excellent service. The staff are friendly and work hard to look after our young one. I receive frequent updates regarding my child's development on the app. Management have listened to our feedback regarding parking, and we are happy to see changes being made. I highly recommend this nursery.

Our little boy recently joined the preschool and we honestly couldn't be happier. He's excited and happy to go in everyday. The daily updates through the App are lovely to see and reassuring of the wonderful time the children are having, The staff are lovely, the managers are a dream team. They have created the perfect blend of both a nurturing and educational environment, in the setting of a beautiful restored building, with great facilities and outside area. Highly recommended. X x

Great nursery, our little one absolutely loves it and comes back having had an incredible day! The range of activities delivered is amazing and the team keep you perfectly updated with information. All credit to the team and the environment they have created in such a short period of time!

Since starting at Birkhampstead in Jan 25, the change in my 2.5 YO was immediate. He was instantly calmer. The class sizes are small, the staff are attentive and want to do only the best for my boy. They want to work with us on every challenge that we're facing, he's still 2 so there are plenty!! Working with us on his communication, his feelings and emotions, hitting and biting and his eating (he now eats broccoli and cucumber!) As first time parents, they have not only taught my son things but us too. It feels like a family more than a service that you are paying for. My LB has gone from hating drop off and pick up at his old school to skipping in and not wanting to come home at the end of the day. The rooms are thought out for every aspect of the child's day and the activities they do are so fun and varied, we get lots of pics too! They don't spend all day in 1 room, they have a dining room, library, sensory room and an amazing garden. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough!

Our son started at Berkhampstead recently, after moving from another setting. The staff were incredible from the point of our first contact with them. They went above and beyond prior to our son starting, taking the time to visit him in his previous setting and ensuring a thorough handover and smooth transition. So far our son has had new experiences of learning and play and is loving his time there. We are so happy with the care and support Berkhampstead have provided to our son and us during his time there so far and we are excited to see how he develops new skills before starting school in September. We are so impressed with the Berkhampstead culture and standards that we have enrolled our son into the prep-school from September and we are delighted he can continue his journey with Berkhampstead.
