We have had a wonderful experience! The staff is caring and the environment is safe, bright, and full of engaging activities. I love the regular updates we receive and I am so happy to have found a place that feels like a second home. Highly recommend!

The nursery goes an extra mile for each child. For any issue my child went through from settling in the nursery to potty training, they have been very supportive. My daughter was the only vegetarian child and the nursery made sure there is a meal plan just for her. Everyday kids get to go outside to play and everyday they bring home a piece of art that they have created. My daughter counts some of the staff in her list of friends. We are very pleased to see this nursery grow.

Cannot fault this super team of kind and hard working staff. So grateful for all their help in getting our wee girl settled. Child centred, fun and engaging activities make this a brilliant nursery and I'm really glad we chose Bright Starts.

Bright Starts Nursery is fantastic - the play rooms & gardens are big and full of well maintained toys and it is always so nice & clean. The staff & management team are all so friendly, approachable and genuinely care about each child. Since starting the nursery 6 / 7 months ago, my daughter's development and confidence has improved a lot. She's learned lots of new skills, made friends and is always so happy to go in each morning. The nursery offer lots of opportunities for parents / carers to take part in things happening in the nursery - parents evening, come eat with us, toddler and parents book sessions, summer fair, etc. The app is updated throughout the day with nappy changes, what my child has ate at mealtimes, nap times etc. Photos are uploaded on the app on a weekly basis which is always so lovely to see. We have had no issues at all and have nothing but good things to say about Bright Starts.

I am very happy with how the nursery is set up for our daughter. The meals in particular are really good to see such a wide variety of things being offered. The way they keep us parents updated on the app is reassuring also.

We cannot speak highly enough about our experience at Bright Starts Nursery. The staff are all friendly and approachable and have such positive relationships with our daughter. The care she receives there is excellent and she loves going. The nursery environment is clean and well resourced with lots of different opportunities provided for play and learning. There are lots of opportunities for parents to get involved and we always feel welcomed in the nursery.

Staff in baby room all very warm and welcoming. Beth seems to partake in lots of activities including inquisitive and messy play. Nursery set up is great, big rooms, lots to do. Love the indoor garden.

My child is now settled in nursery. The nursery staff are very supportive and there is a wide variety of food provided. When in nursery he usually doesn't sleep much which is a downside. This is probably because there can be a lot happening in the room and he likes to sleep when it's quiet. However he does like playtime there.

We have been very impressed with this nursery. The initial visit to the house was a nice touch and all the staff have been great with our boys. There is a great range of activities for them to do, including visits to the local care home and library, as well as an amazing outdoor space to learn and play. Our eldest son has developed so much in the time he's been there with his numeracy and his literacy. We love the transparency of the place and the regular updates on the app. Overall, we are very pleased with our decision to send our boys here.

Really happy with our experience at Bright starts Thornliebank. A nursery can only be as good as the team running it and the team the manager has put together at thornliebank are fantastic. From first sessions to now they have taken an active interest in our son's welfare and progress. They keep us regularly updated with how he is doing via the app and the communication from the team generally is excellent. They have also formed a really nice bond with him which has helped him settle and he always looks forward to going to nursery in the mornings when we drop him off. The other kids all look happy, entertained and loved when we pick up and drop off our son. Our son always has a fresh nappy when we pick him up as well. They have recently installed new outdoor furniture amd toys at the nursery to improve the outside space which our son has loved during the summer. They also recently held a fun day for the parents to attend with the kids which was a great way to meet other parents.

Bright Starts has been AMAZING for our wee girl. Our first experience of nursery and I have nothing bad to say. The staff are all so friendly, kind and genuinely care and know our wee girl so well. She always is happy to go and has a big smile on her face when I hand her over. We are so grateful to all the staff!

Fantastic nursery where Management and staff are friendly, professional and care about my child's well-being and developmental progress. Children have great spaces, indoor and out, and a variety of activities. They are well fed and cared for. The nursery do a home visit where the child's key-worker meets the family and child then an extended settling-in transition. This well thought out and delivered approach has ensured our child has settled in well to nursery, loves the staff and is as smiley when they come home as when they left. We are super satisfied parents.

Fantastic nursery, excellent communication from management and daily updates from staff on our child's well-being. The nurturing environment is evident from the minute the door is opened in the morning until pick up. My little one has allergies and the catering and care for him has been exemplary. I am in no doubt that the GIRFEC principles are being adhered to and allowing our children to thrive here!

We moved to Bright Starts having had our provision cancelled with 24 hours notice by an alternative provider. Our youngest had struggled to settle and we'd be left really short of confidence as to how he'd transition. The manager and the whole team especially a specific member of staff were so thoughtful and patient with us and our little one. Within 4 weeks we had a child who was fully settled and thriving in the setting when we'd previously been told he would never settle in a nursery setting. I cannot credit the manager and team enough. The setting is fantastic. All the staff are amazing and I cannot imagine our little one being on a different setting anywhere else.

My son started nursery when he was 11 months old. The staff made him feel very welcome from the start. My son loves going to nursery so much! He has made such a great bond with the staff. The full staff team are caring and attentive, the communication is great, always keeping me up to date about how my son is doing and what's happening within the nursery! I couldn't be happier with the experience!

The staff in the Baby Room are amazing, our wee man is a total barnacle baby and we were worried about his transition into nursery. Turns out we had nothing to worry about, he loves going in and he treats the staff like his aunties. The environment is clean and fresh, the activities planned by the staff are great for development and the food served is healthy and varied. Your littles are in great hands here.

My boy has been attending the nursery for almost 3 months now. He was quite difficult to settle but although he was crying a lot at the beginning, at the same time he was very positive when talking about school and the teachers back home. The ladies are absolutely amazing, with lots of patience and caring approach! The manager as well. The space is completely new, very clean, beautiful and warm on the cold days of the winter!

The first month of our son attending Bright Starts Nursery has gone amazingly smoothly. He can be a little clingy and the staff have done a fantastic job at helping him settle. The staff are always so caring and lovely with him and are always keen to share about his day. They always do their best to make him feel happy and are always keeping us informed of any changes in his usual behaviours. The environment is wonderful with everything brand new, resources are relevant to his age and open ended. There are opportunities to engage in many types of play and updates are made by staff regarding which play scheme etc. The manager is very approachable and is hands on with the children and creates a very calm, nurturing feel. Any enquiries or questions are addressed usually with the day. We have found the last four weeks to be very satisfying and after having a bad experience with our previous childcare, we have found Bright Starts to have been the right choice for us.
