We are delighted with the care and support our children have received from being at the nursery since 9months old right up to the out of school club age (7&9), All staff are very friendly and approachable and always happy to help. Our children love the Croft especially playing football in the garden and making long bracelets with the loom bands. Staff have always been very responsive to our children's individual needs and given support when needed. We can't fault the Croft at all and we always recommend to family and friends. Keep up the great work!!

My daughter started at the Croft in September and she absolutely loves it. She reaches out for staff upon arrival and isn't sad when we leave her. I feel she is very included and feel the staff care about her. Her development has come on so much since starting. I can go to work and know she's so well looked after! Thank you all so much :)

My daughter started at The Croft in April 2025 and I couldn't be happier with the care she has received. They have got to know her really well and it's lovely to see staff members from the older rooms also know her by name. The staff members are kind and enthusiastic and also provide you with a wee update on their day on top of the information available in the app. The team are always accommodating and responsive when it comes to booking extra sessions or responding to emails. My daughter has gone from crying at every drop off and refusing to eat in nursery to running away from me at pick up and frequently having seconds!

Our son started at the Croft in August 2025. Our experience so far has been great, he had a settling in period which allowed him to get use to being at nursery and he has been enjoying it ever since. The staff are fantastic and give us an update of how the day has gone when we pick him up. Our son loves being outside and the Croft has a great outdoor area which he loves being in. After 3 months I now go to pick him up and he wants to show me what he has been doing and doesn't want me to take him home which shows me he is comfortable and enjoying being there!

My son absolutely loves the activities and visits to the community. From forest school to the beach and at Christmas the panto trip. The staff are friendly, warm and great staff to child ratios. We have especially been enjoying the activities put on by the nursery for special events and inviting parents in.

Staff have been brilliant at helping our little one settle into nursery. Baby room and outdoor space at nursery is great. Love how they get them out for walks and outside area as much as possible when nice weather. She's now running into nursery so has built the trust with the girls there and we have no worries with how she is getting on during the day. She's also eating and napping pretty good which has made such a difference compared to when she first started.

I am pleased to say that my child loves nursery. The staff are very understanding, patient and capable and its great that there are so many years of experience among them. My little one has been in the baby room.sunce he was 8 minths and I was so nervous about taking him so young but he settled straight in. It makes me happy that he's as happy to go to the members of staff there as he is to me.

Our child has enjoyed going to the Croft. She has been there since she was one year old in the baby room and has done the pre-school year twice. We will use the Croft for after-school club starting from August.

We have had our child in the nursery for nearly a year, and we have had great communication with the nursery on the wellbeing of the child, how they have settled and how they are getting on. The staff are all lovely and very attentive. The facilities they have at the nursery are great and lots for the children to choose from. Great they take them out of the nursery for adventures and they get to experience different activities.

We've had a fantastic experience with this nursery. Our child really likes attending the nursery and is really happy when talking about all the staff members. The staff members, both those working with the children and management, are hugely knowledgeable, friendly and communicative and all the workers across all rooms seem to know all the children well. Moving between rooms when our child got older was something we worried about as something that could upset our child but was something that was really easy and problem free because of this factor. The children experience a really nice variety of themed and educational activities inside and get loads of outdoor time in what are excellent large garden facilities. The children also get out on trips locally which is lovely. The kids also all seem to play together really well and get on which we think must be down to the excellent staff activity planning. The meal choices also seem healthy and varied and our child certainly likes them.

We've had a great experience with this nursery. The staff are wonderful - friendly, professional, and always approachable. My son looks forward to going in every morning, which says a lot about how comfortable and happy he feels there. It's the same for his older brother who attends the before and after school club twice a week. Any queries we've had have been dealt with promptly and helpfully. It's reassuring to know they are in such good hands every day.

Our child is incredibly settled at The Croft, which is testament to the calm, welcoming and positive ethos that is consistently evident. The entire staff team are both approachable and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. From the welcome shared by every team member at drop off, similar at pick up and the one to one at handover, it's such a valuable and reassuring resource to be offered. Information shared at handover is thorough and reflects how well the team know and care about our child. Our child's experiences includes a healthy balance of indoors and outdoors and the craft activities are clearly child led, with the focus on the experience rather than outcome. The layout of the room is purposeful and organised; resources are easily accessible with something to engage them on arrival. Our child has so much fun, arrives with a smile and is collected with a smile. What more can we ask for.

The facilities at The Croft in Stonehaven are really good, with two unique buildings along the same road and centrally located in the town. Both facilities have a massive outdoor space and lots of play features for the children to have fun with. Indoors are laid out in natural tones with plenty of space. The staff are extremely good with the children and can cater to each personality. They lay on engaging activities for the children. I love it when I arrive a bit early to collect my son and overhear the children singing, dancing or playing games together, led by staff, during circle time. A particularly special time is that spent in the nearby woods where they undertake outdoor learning activities. My child is preschool age and we like the place so much we have chosen to continue to use it for after-school care going forward.

My son loves all of the outside time at The Croft. The facilities and activities are excellent! Lots of positive experiences and opportunities for the children. My sons also love going on the walks to the train station, park, and beach. The staff are lovely and great with the children.

I have a son in anti-pre school and he absolutely loves it, he is well cared for with a huge variety of activities including beach, park and train station trips! The facilities are great and the kids have everything they need. The staff are so friendly and give a full debrief on collection of my little one. I also have a girl in out of school and again it is great, my daughter loves out-of-school club, I feel very comfortable that she is well cared for on the walk from school and fed and watered on arrival. My daughter has additional needs and the staff couldn't do more for her. I am very happy with The Croft Nursery and OOS.

I've always been very happy with the nursery staff, facilities and resources available and have never had any issues. My children have always been happy to go in or settle quickly once in. The outside space is excellent and little excursions that they take the children on are great. I would like to see a bit more about what activities they do daily within the nursery on the social media page though.

My daughter started at The Croft in April 2025 and I couldn't be happier with the care she has received. They have got to know her really well and it's lovely to see staff members from the older rooms also know her by name. Staff have been brilliant at helping our little one settle into nursery. Baby room and outdoor space at nursery is great. Love how they get them out for walks and outside area as much as possible when nice weather. She's now running into nursery so has built the trust with the girls there and we have no worries with how she is getting on during the day. She's also eating and napping pretty good which has made such a difference compared to when she first started.

Moving between rooms when our child got older was something we worried about as something that could upset our child but was something that was really easy and problem free because of this factor. The children experience a really nice variety of themed and educational activities inside and get loads of outdoor time in what are excellent large garden facilities. The children also get out on trips locally which is lovely. The kids also all seem to play together really well and get on which we think must be down to the excellent staff activity planning. The meal choices also seem healthy and varied and our child certainly likes them.
