View Full Details of Ivy House Day Nursery Thames DittonThis nursery has been amazing from the start. I was really anxious in the beginning as he was our first, but the staff were so supportive and helped both us and our son through the settling-in period. Now he absolutely loves it there! The team are always happy, caring, and go the extra mile. The facilities are fantastic - a forest school, garden, sensory room! My son has thrived here.
The most exceptional nursery with staff who truly go above and beyond. My daughter has attended since 9 months old and absolutely loves it.. every day she's excited to see her friends and teachers. A warm, nurturing environment where children thrive and parents feel completely at ease.
I have nothing but great things to say about this nursery, My daughter absolutely loves it there, and always has. The staff are always happy, caring and energetic and willing to go above and beyond with the children. The facilities are excellent, with their own forest school outback, a garden and a sensory room; they even have their own chickens!! My daughter has pretty much been there from the start and is flourishing in every way.
Ivy House, Station Road provides an incredibly supportive and caring environment for our daughter. The transition into nursery life was handled with attention, kindness and flexibility. The guidance and compassion we all received in the initial months was simply exceptional. The team have creating a warm, secure and fun environment for the children to develop and learn. The facilities are excellent including the forest school (with hens!), large garden and sensory room which they integrate within the children's day alongside a varied program of additional activities.
It's a nurturing nursery with empathetic and honest staff. Trusting carers outside of family can be difficult, but the team here makes it easy. They're caring, fun, transparent, and genuinely interested in each child. They go above and beyond to work with you as a parent, keeping you informed and involved. The staff are skilled, attentive, and supportive, creating a warm and trusting environment for both children and families. The nursery itself is full of great ideas and learning opportunities. From creative play to unique experiences like helping care for chickens. it's a great place to grow curiosity and confidence.
Our 19 month old son couldn't be happier at Ivy House. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, and the team have been very accommodating with my requests for ad hoc days, often at late notice. I feel very reassured knowing my son is being so well looked after. We have recently moved a little too far from the nursery for the journey to be manageable long term and we will be very sad to say goodbye. Would highly recommend.
My daughter has been at Ivy House Thames Ditton for 7 months now and is absolutely flourishing. The setting is warm and welcoming, with friendly and attentive staff. The impressive outdoor space, including the wonderful Forest School was a real drawcard for us as our daughter loves being outside. We've been equally impressed with the range of activities offered including yoga, sing and sign, trips to the local village/park/library, onsite forest school and a large variety of sensory activities. We are very impressed overall and it makes going to work much easier knowing how well cared for she is and how much she loves to be there.
We are so happy with the nursery. Our 18 month daughter is thriving here. She is always coming home having learnt something new. She is very chatty and I'm sure they are inspiring her vocabulary. I love that they can spend all day in the forest school also. The staff are so kind and attentive. It's a pleasure to drop her off with a smile and pick her up messy knowing she has had a full day of exploring different mediums and sensories. Couldn't believe they even get external people in to do music classes and yoga as an example without extra cost. Couldn't recommend it enough.
So happy to find this nursery it immediately felt like a good fit. The staff are so warm, fun and genuinely invested in the little ones. Our now 3-year-old settled in really quickly, his confidence has grown and he loves it there. He comes home most days with artwork/baking, there's weekly yoga and a big new forest school too.
Our little one has been at Ivy House Day Nursery Thames Ditton for nine months, and we couldn't be happier. The staff are so warm and welcoming, it truly feels like family. A big factor for us was the forest garden and outdoor space, and Ivy House delivers. Our child spends so much time outdoors, exploring and learning in nature. The transition from maternity leave to work felt daunting, but the team made it so easy, offering constant support and reassurance. The manager is fantastic-always there with parenting advice on speech, separation anxiety, potty training, and more. The team is also super flexible with ad-hoc days, which has been a lifesaver. Our child's key worker and the team provide daily updates and monthly reviews, and they truly know and understand our little one. Drop-offs are a breeze, and pick-ups are full of happy chatter-proof she loves it there. We couldn't recommend Ivy House more, a nurturing, happy place.
I am very happy with Ivy House Nursery at Thames Ditton! My daughter (nearly three years old) is happy going there every morning! The staff is very caring and supportive, they always answer all my questions and try to find variants in tough situations. They have lots of things to do including yoga, crafts of course, and they had a great backyard with a forest school. The food is also good: it is diverse and my daughter eats most of it. My kid is happy there and I am happy for her!
Ivy House has been fab for our little chap. He loves it there! The staff are all incredibly friendly and caring. The manager runs things diligently and with great care and empathy. Highly recommend.
The Ivy House, Thames Ditton is a lovely nursery. Attentive staff really care for the children, which can be seen in the regular updates throughout the day, on the progress, happiness and activities of our child. It is also further demonstrated at events outside the day to day, for example the Christmas Fair, where they went above and beyond. The clear indicator of a good nursery is a happy child and ours is extremely happy there. The meals sound delicious and the outside woodland space is a big hit. You can tell they really care about each and every child.
Our daughter joined Ivy House in June, following a transfer from another nursery in the area. We have been so grateful for the open, collaborative and child-centric approach taken by the staff and how settled we have seen our daughter become within a very short space of time. She comes home having spent the day doing activities and at outings, which has been wonderful for her development, curiosity and general sense of well-being. We have found every member of staff we have met to be pragmatic and kind, and we feel reassured that she is being well cared for during her days at nursery. The level of responsiveness when you have a question is impressive and really adds to that sense of reassurance.
A fantastic nursery that feels like a home from home for our little boy. The staff have made every effort to ensure he feels safe and happy at Ivy House and after just one month of being there, he now walks in happily at drop off and blows kisses goodbye to all the staff at pick up. All of the staff are so friendly and lead with passion and purpose, their enthusiasm shines through to the children and our son genuinely sees the nursery as an exciting place to be. The nursery itself is set in a beautiful house with lovely outdoor spaces in the centre of Thames Ditton, we are very grateful that the Ivy House team decided to expand to Thames Ditton and honestly couldn't be happier with the way our son is thriving and processing, especially with his language skills. Thank you Ivy House for all that you do.
Really happy with Ivy House, our little boy settled quickly and a big part of this has been how the team are so warm and caring to him. He's established strong bonds and we've seen amazing growth in his communication skills and confidence. As well as the excellent and experienced team, the nursery building itself is lovely, it looks and feels homely and has a lovely outdoor space. It's located in Thames Ditton which is a scenic and safe residential area. Can't recommend enough!
My youngest son started in April and has settled beautifully. He is very happy to walk in through the front door and be treated by a smiling member of staff. He eats well and sleeps well there which for me shows he is feeling fully safe and secure. He is already developing with new words, playing well and socially very secure. The nursery is full of warm, friendly and happy staff who are very skilled in their expertise. There is a wide choice of nutritious food which my son loves. They do trips to the park, feed the ducks and visit the library. They have a wonderful big garden and lots of ways to encourage role-play with their pals. I have highly recommended the nursery to lots of local parent pals. A special shout-out to the manager and the team.
The team at Ivy House have made the beginning of our nursery journey the best I could have hoped for. They have been amazing at getting our child settled into nursery, and now they run to the door each morning with a smile on their face. The staff are all very supportive of both the children and parents and are clearly committed to their role. They get the children outside, doing lots of activities and arrange regular trips out. They send regular updates on activities and developments on the app as well as day-to-day info regarding sleeping and food etc. We have been very happy with our decision with Ivy House.
We moved our 3-year-old to Ivy House in April and haven't looked back! Following a poor experience at a nursery in the area, he is like a different child. He really enjoys his days there and loves all the activities, crafting and outings he does. We were nervous as it was a new nursery in the area but the staff, set up and attention to detail is great. They really care about the children and have some great skills and experience between them. I would wholeheartedly recommend the nursery! Thank you!
My two children attend Ivy House, Thames Ditton and we couldn't be more thrilled with the care and attention that they receive. They both finish their days with a huge smile on their faces (and a piece of artwork!) and my eldest often cries when we leave because he wants to stay! The staff are so welcoming, friendly and truly invested in the children's development and happiness. We get regular updates via the app which is also a really useful way to track what they've eaten, when they've slept, and to log any medicine or sick days. I am delighted that my children get to attend such a special and unique nursery. Thank you.
