My twins have been attending st James road nursery since it opened. They settled in so well and have learned so much whilst attending. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is always someone around to speak to for a handover or when there is something to discuss. I highly recommend this nursery, lovely laid out rooms and great play garden

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Ymca nursery dudley. From the very first day, the staff made us feel completely at ease, showing genuine care, patience, and warmth toward our son. It's clear they truly love what they do. The learning environment is bright, safe, and nurturing, with plenty of creative and educational activities tailored to each child's stage of development. Our son has grown so much in confidence, independence, and communication since he started here. We especially appreciate the regular updates and photos - it's heartwarming to see him smiling, painting, exploring, and making friends. The staff are always approachable, responsive, and supportive, making us feel like part of a community, not just clients. We're so grateful to have found ymca nursery - it really feels like a second home for our little one. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a caring and high-quality early years setting.

Our daughter as only been at the nursery for a year and the help and support we receive is outstanding , the way she as grown and achieved goals in her learning and speaking to others , her confidence as grown quickly. The teachers are very supportive and always welcoming and very pleasant .we would highly recommend this setting for your child .

The staff are really attentive, caring and my girls have come on a long way since starting at the nursery, a lovely clean environment, my girls love going to nursery and enjoy their time at nursery, could not recommend the nursery enough.

The staff are excellent at the nursery, they are welcoming and friendly towards parents and ensure you are kept updated. My child has developed a good bond with the staff and has settled in really well over the past year. The only thing I would improve is that some nurseries have cameras in the rooms for parents to view which would be beneficial or more pictures/videos on the app for parents to see what their child has been up to. However, with how well my child has settled into this establishment, I am happy with my choice of nursery and would recommend to anyone who is looking for childcare.

Fantastic nursery all around. I currently have a son who attends the setting. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. The nursery offers different sessions to parents, not the typical morning and afternoon sessions. They also offer term time which has been brilliant. The facilities are homely, with a beautiful, large garden for the children to play in.

St James nursery welcomed my 3 year son with open arms as part of their YMCA family the moment he started a couple of months ago. The staff are so friendly, professional and just overall brilliant! My son has come on leaps and bounds with confidence since starting here, always making him feel comfortable and happy! Big well done to the staff, keep up the good work!

My daughter has been at St James for nearly a year . In this time we have found the staff friendly , welcoming and extremely helpful . She loves attending and we never have any difficulty at drop off . The staff have helped her to develop her independent eating skills and we can see the quick improvement in her speech . Would definitely the nursery recommend to other parents .

We have our daughter with YMCA St James Nursery since May 2024. The staff is brilliant! My little one is so happy to go there and play with the children, it was very rarely when she cried in the morning. She is always clean and happy when we pick her up and you can tell she is well looked after and the staff is very good and kind with her and all the kids. They are also open and approachable for discussion if you have any queries or concerns, which is very important in this service. I can be overprotective at times and at the beginning I was very alert, looking for any sign of distress when dropping or picking her from the nursery and she never displayed any, which was very reassuring for me as a parent. Even when it did happen for the staff to be short, which was not often, the kids were still well looked after. Hope the company does reward the staff according to their work. If not, I then I hope they see my review and start thinking of this, as GIFTED staff is not easy to find!

The staff are always very approachable and friendly. The setting is beautiful, very homely, we especially loved the outdoor area. I leave my child confident he is well looked after. Easy to contact when needed with fast responses.

The current manager is absolutely lovely and has the children's best interests at heart. My son is looked after well and is coming out of nursery happy. He says he has enjoyed his day. Staff turnover has been high throughout the last year with unfamiliar faces joining the team for a few days and then disappearing which causes the children upset but the new manager is focused on creating a safe and happy environment, re building her team for the benefits of the children. I hope she succeeds!

Fantastic Nursery all round! My Daughter used to go to another YMCA Nursery that unfortunately closed, so we made the decision to transfer her placement to St James. They have been nothing but patient and loving, as she can be unsettled at times. St James has been amazing for my little one as the previous nursery had a small garden space - but this one is huge! I use the meal service, however you can provide lunches. My little one has a hearty meal and a variety of nutritious snacks throughout her structured day - and she cleans the plate! The use of the app helps us parents keep in the know with mealtimes, nappy changes and all of our little ones learning / progression. It's great!! And an easy way to communicate with management. I have used YMCA Nurseries since my eldest was 2 (almost 6 years) and cannot honestly say they've been like family. Highly recommended to anyone!

The staff at St James nursery are really friendly and have helped my daughter settle into nursery. This nursery also offers different sessions not just your typical morning/afternoon sessions which is great for families who want to tailor the nursery hours to fit around their lifestyle, which has helped me save money!
