An excellent setting with excellent staff! They're always extremely accommodating and their service is also excellent. The owner, is very hands on and easily available to talk with. As a Mum juggling everything, this place is perfect!

An amazing nursery in the heart of the village. Many varied activities & always something new for the children. Staff friendly & caring, also flexible with requests when asked. Great nursery to send your child too.

My eldest daughter has been attending Guilsborough School House Day Nursery for a year and a half now and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the setting. The staff are amazing, really take the time to get to know your child and are so tentative in looking after their emotional, physical and educational needs. She leaves every single day so happy and I trust the team wholeheartedly. A truly family feel nursery and my youngest will be joining in just a few months and I am sure she will thrive just as much as my eldest has.

We couldn't be happier with school house day care. From the very beginning the staff have been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. It's reassuring to know our son is in caring hands each day. The staff at day care are warm and approachable, but also knowledgeable when it comes to child development. Communication is consistently good and we are kept regularly updated on our son's progress, daily activities etc. The setting itself has such a lovely, homely feel to it and our son loves going in each day and comes out very happy. Thank you to all staff at school house :)

Staff are always friendly & the setting is small enough to feel like they are getting the correct level of attention. They also do school pick up / drop off / after school & holiday clubs for those will be going to school next door

My little boy is so happy here, the staff are attentive and encouraging and make him feel so welcome everyday. They offer a range of activities to keep the little ones entertained and keep you updated with any changes as necessary.

Absolutely fantastic Nursery! My daughter hadn't had much experience with being with anyone else other than me before she went here, she settled straight away and loves going to nursery! She loves her home cooked meals and all the different activities and outings they take part in. Highly recommend!

My son is in butterfly room at SHDC, and we highly recommend. They are fantastic with him. The girls always report how he's getting on and he's advancing so much since being here. We couldn't be happier with the care they give!

My daughter has attended school house day care since September 2022 and we couldn't be happier. Staff are experienced, warm, kind and fantastic with her. I trust them entirely and anyone who has children knows how vital that is when leaving your children at daycare. My son will also attend when he is old enough. The setting is small enough that it feels personal and transitioning between ages isnt a big change as the children all integrate. I would recommend to anyone and are so grateful for all they have done for us as a family.

Great nursery that really care about the children and put so much effort in. Really grateful it's our local nursery. Home cooked food, constant change of resources, wonderful learning through play and one-to-one time with key person. Bringing out the best in my children.

School House Daycare is a lovely setting. The staff are kind and engaging with the children and work hard to ensure the children are safe, cared for and having fun. They spend a lot of time outside with regular walks to the park and round the village to observe day to day life. I feel like my child is in safe hands here.

My daughter loves going to School House Guilborough day care she always goes in and comes home with a big smile on her face! All the staff are so lovely and welcoming and do so many lovely activities with them.

The most homely, personable nursery setting, that feels like a little second family for the children. There is always so much going on, and so many fun activities for the children. We particularly like how many of the activities incorporate village life, like going to the post office, visiting the fire station or the local parks. The staff are amazing - thank you for everything you do! We are so grateful to have this on our doorstep.

My little girl has been attending School House Day Care since March 2023 so I could return to work after maternity leave. The fabulous team have made her welcome and ensured I'm kept up to date throughout the day via their app. My little one thoroughly enjoys her days at nursery, she is always happy and smiling when we have morning drop off, she has developed so much. Thank you to all the SHDC Team.

My daughter has been at School House Day Care since it opened. We have been delighted with her progress. The setting is excellent and very welcoming and homely. The staff are professional, courteous and genuinely friendly and helpful. It was no surprise to me when I learned of their recent Ofsted visit and subsequent report of 'good' in all areas. I would recommend this setting to anyone looking for a really focused nursery that makes learning fun and provides constant improvement for the children, they also put a big emphasis on behaviour and manners. Very well run, well done SHDC.

After moving to the village, I decided to move my daughter to School House Day Care and I am so thankful that I did. Such a cosy setting with a real homely feel to it, the staff are outstanding and always go that extra mile to take care of the children and ensure that their needs are met. For myself, as an anxious parent, the support that I got from the nursery manager has been second to none. The activities that the children take part in each week are wonderful, with lots of variety and plenty of laughter. The food and snacks are also fabulous, to ensure a healthy diet is met. My daughter is school-age now but we still use the before and after school, along with the holiday club. This has been an integral part of juggling work and family knowing that my little person is safe and well cared for by a truly amazing team! I can not recommend School House Day Care enough.

I am delighted to give my twins' nursery a glowing five-star review! The flexibility of the hours is remarkable, always accommodating our needs. My girls are such happy toddlers when they are there, and the nursery seamlessly follows our sleep routine. The incredible and loving staff make it a place I wouldn't think about leaving. Highly recommend!

My daughter started here when I moved to the village at age three, along with her brother, who was 18 months old. Both of them settled in really quickly. She has since moved up to school but continues to come here after school. Both of my kids love coming here! Which is such a reassurance as a parent knowing they are happy at nursery. The staff are all so kind and helpful.
