We absolutely love the nursery and can't praise it enough. The care our daughter has received from all the staff has been brilliant. As kids do she has her favourites and Tami and Emma are exceptional with her. She has learnt a lot in her 2 years there and the staff have worked hard at bringing on
her skills. The setting is brilliant, indoor and outdoor. Honey has been great at teaching the children outdoor skills, which our daughter has loved. The food is varied and great so that she can try different things. The nursery is very accommodating when needing to change days/times etc. We would definitely recommend the nursery and will be very said when she has to leave.

A fantastic team taking care of my child. He loves to go every day and is learning new skills and improving his interpersonal skills as well.

I bought my child when he was 1 years old. Was very anxious but the staffs at the baby room (jenny and team) was amazing and kept me at ease. Fast forward hes been to the toddler room and now pre school ... all the staffs Rachel, Honney, Emma, Tammy have been amazing . I would recommend .

Amazing nursery. My son has been attending for 2 years now. He was slow on his speech and social development.
After just a few months, he was walking, talking and making friends. He talks about the staff and the friends he has made all the time and has brought home many transferable skills!
The
general environment is warm and welcoming, the staff are always ready to help both the children and the parents with whatever they need.
The hours are good for working parents, the food is freshly prepared and always documented through the app.
Could not recommend enough!

My son has attended the nursery for 3 and a half years- two days a week and he loves his days there.
The staff are attentive and accommodating- special mention to Tammy who he adores.
She has spent a lot of time organising 1-1s recently, to encourage his learning and development in preparation
for school in September which we are really grateful for.
The nursery has catered to his allergies accordingly and any issues have been resolved promptly.
We are confident that he is well looked after and safe at the nursery and would recommend Kids Planet to friends and family.

i have been sending my children to this nursery for the past 5 years since moving and have nothing but positive things to say! All the staff go above and beyond to accommodate as i am a shift worker, all 3 of my children have been cared for amazingly and have thrived! two of my children have since
moved onto school but are still really eager to come and fetch my youngest from nursery, as they love to go say hi to all the staff to which they are always welcomed with a smile and hugs of course

Our little one started at Kids Planet Basford when she was almost 9 months old and she settled in very quickly. The staff are great, they are very caring and helpful when it comes to making adjustments to suit individual needs. They do regular themed weeks and fun activities. The communication with
the nursery is great. The nursery app is easy to use, we get updates throughout the day on what's our daughter has been doing as well on all of the future events, invoices, funding hours forms, and many more. We also get updates on her developmental milestones. It's great to see her play with the staff and other children, and quickly picking up more and more skills. I couldn't recomment this place more!

The nursery is amazing, the staff are so lovely, kind & supportive of new parents in the stages of settling in your child. They accommodate to your child's needs and nothing is too big of an ask. They always keep you feeling reassured of what your child is up to on the App, where they share your
child's developments, recent activities, food & drink diary, along with any nappy changes - everything you need to know. The nursery are amazing & I'm so pleased I picked this wonderful family of staff to help not only me but my child on this journey! You will not be disappointed when selecting this nursery! Couldn't recommend enough. My child has settled in just fine in the matter of weeks!!

My daughter has been in this nursery now for just over 2 years and I can honestly say that I could not have picked a better nursery.
The staff are phenomenal, especially Emma, Tami and Honey, they are so patient and understanding and allow my daughter to be her full self whilst molding her
behaviour in such a positive way. They have helped her along so so much and I appreciate the work that goes in to the running of this nursery, it wouldn't be the same without Nikki and Rachel. So thank you all for your consistent hard work and efforts, you are all amazing. Not forgetting Helens amazing meals :)

Excellent nursery my boys attended who are now teenagers ,and my daughter is getting ready to leave , all my children have thrived at the nursery,the staff are caring and supportive , the nursery is laid out well with plenty of space and outside play space , meals are lovely , we will be sad to
leave kids planet , feels like the end of era , the memories all my children have from there time here have stayed positive and often talked about . I would highly recommend basford kids planet to anyone looking for a nursery setting .

We absolutely love Kids Planet, Basford and can't recommend it enough! The staff are all so brilliant - really friendly, approachable, and always find time to chat.
There's always some fun, creative activity going on and open-ended play with garden activities, balance beams, and water play etc.
The food is great with loads of variety.
We love that they give activities/ songs to practice at home.
The app is great for us to see how their day is going.
They have been fantastic with our daughter who is quite shy. She has come out of her shell and her language has improved massively since she started.
It's just a genuinely lovely, happy place for them to be.

My daughter has been going to this nursery since she was a baby and will be leaving in September due to starting school. I can't thank the nursery enough for all the care and compassion they have shown my daughter. Every single member of staff has been so lovely the whole time. I always feel at ease
when my daughter is as nursery knowing she is well looked after. My daughter has thrived since being there and has learnt so much and made so many friends along the way. Thanks Kids Planet, Basford :) your all amazing x

We have been with the nursery for 2 of our little ones over the last 3 years and they've been brilliant.
They are extremely nurturing and beautiful bonds with the staff and our little ones have been made.
The cook is amazing and has been so facilitating regarding our little one's allergies.
We recently had our little ones graduation and the nursery went to such an awful lot of trouble. It was a truly beautiful day and you could really feel the love they have for the little ones in their care.
Thank you Kids Planet Basford. We will miss you x

We absolutely love Kids Planet - especially the amazing ladies who care for our little ones with so much love and attention. The menu is fantastic, and the food quality is honestly better than what my child sometimes gets at home, which gives me real peace of mind.
At the end of the day, what
really matters is the people - and this team is full of experienced, dedicated staff who genuinely care. The manager is brilliant, and it shows in how well the whole place runs. It's not about having the newest or shiniest building - it's about the care, the learning experiences, and the warmth, and this nursery has all of that in abundance.
I have three children, and only one has attended Kids Planet - but if I'd known how amazing it was, I would've sent them all.
Thank you for making such a difference ladies, you stand out & should be proud!

Submitted this as 2025 because my boy currently attends but used this nursery since my first born who is now 21. Many of the staff are still the same! I think that says alot about work environment! Not just a couple, i mean most! Have had 3 children now attend here between 2002 and 2025 and i really
wouldn't want my preschool kid anywhere else! He's an absolute handful but they are honest about his behaviour, eating, sleeping etc so we are aware. They massively reward his good behaviour, he loves his stickers and he loves his time there!

My son has been attending the nursery for 2 years now and I don't have any regrets in choosing this setting for him. As full time working parents, it was important for us that he created bonds with the nursery staff. From the early days in the baby room, through to the pre school room, all staff
have nurtured him and supported his development needs. As a first time parent it can feel quite overwhelming leaving your child in a childcare setting, however I have complete peace of mind that my child is well taken care of in my absence. My son enjoys outside time which is encouraged in all weathers! A highlight for him is also mealtimes due to the nursery's wonderful cook who prepares healthy balanced meals with lots of variety. Every week the children also partake in an arranged activity provided by an external company that my son loves to tell me all about when he gets home. The staff at the nursery have played a big part in shaping my sons wonderful character!

I have nothing but good words to say about all the staff and care provided to my children, mainly my son who has been there since September last year. Not only has he started talking since joining this nursery which has been difficult, the nursery has fully supported me in anything for his needs.

Kids Planet at Basford is a lovely nursery.
My little girl has been going since she was 6 months old and has thoroughly thrived since attending. They make you feel welcome and keep you updated throughout the day.

My daughter has been coming to this nursery for 3 years and would recommend it to anyone. I also have a niece and nephew who have attended and enjoyed the nursery setting. The staff are all lovely and go above and beyond for parents and the children. Lovely, clean setting and has lovely staff
members throughout. My daughter enjoys attending nursery and talks about staff daily to family members, 5 stars throughout for all areas.
