Colourbox Montessori Nursery is a wonderful place. From the very first days, the staff made our daughter feel safe and supported as she settled in. Now she is so excited to see her key workers. The nursery is calm, creative, and nurturing, and you can tell that the staff genuinely care about each
child.
They celebrate all kinds of milestones, big and small, and encourage independence and curiosity. Communication with parents is excellent with daily updates, photos, and regular check-ins. Every activity, every corner of the nursery, is carefully thought through, and our daughter has grown so much in confidence, language, and life skills. We feel nothing but gratitude for the love, skill, and care she receives every day.

We love Colourbox. Our child runs in every day with excitement which speaks volumes. Communication throughout the day is great with replies to any emails responded to quickly by the nursery. Regular chats with 1:1 and supports our sons independence which is really becoming apparent compared to some

We have been so impressed with Colourbox Haverhill, where our 18 month old daughter attends the Nest. There is truly nothing I would change about this place, where I feel our daughter is taken care of so well and is thriving. She can't wait to get there and see the staff, who know her so well and
always seem so happy to see her, and from day one I felt confident leaving her in their expert care. They are flexible in terms of her needs and have always been accommodating with keeping her routines and helpfully engaging with things like personal care. Each day she comes home having done so much: going in the garden, taken part in different arts and crafts, read stories, played with dolls or other toys and is learning new skills all the time like dressing herself and putting her shoes on etc. Everyone knows her by name and it is truly her place, she waves and chats to everyone. If I am lucky enough to have more children I would love to send them there. I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a fantastic caring nursery for our two children. We have always felt they have supported and cared for the children in their care and have no hesitation to recommend the nursery to other parents. Both our children have flourished under the care of the staff and have grown as independent
individuals in their own right. They have been encouraged in their individual aptitudes, whether artistic or verbal and computational. We are so grateful to the staff.

Both of our children have attended ColourBox in Haverhill (one still attends) and we have been really pleased with the nursery. The teachers are attentive and caring and our children come out to greet us every day with a big smile on their face.

Our daughter has been at Colourbox Haverhill for the last year and absolutely loves it. The staff are wonderful - so warm and friendly. The facilities are great - and every day they seem to do something new to keep the children engaged, from crafts and sensory activities to baking and outdoor play.
Really happy with our choice of nursery! Would highly recommend.

Colourbox is an amazing nursery, my son has autism and hardly spoke when he started nursery almost 2 years ago and the progress he has made since being at Colourbox is amazing. The teachers go above and beyond not only for the children but to also support parents like myself. My son has an amazing
bond with some amazing teachers and is always so so happy to go to nursery. If it wasn't for the teachers and their love for helping children progress my son wouldn't be where he is today absolutely chatting away! Thank you so much for being so caring and great at what you do! I would recommend this nursery to any parent!!

My son started at colourbox last February. He is my first child so of course the transition to nursery was tough for me and him but the girls were amazing, they kept me updated constantly and were happy for me to call as much as I needed to stop worrying. My little boy loves nursery now, he often
asks for the team members over the weekend and gets so excited to see them when we walk to drop off. He is thriving there and its a pleasure to see. Very lucky to have them so close to us!

My son has been attending Colourbox since September 2025. Since his first day he has been so happy to go in for every session. He comes home singing all of the nursery songs and his speech has improved massively. All of the staff are incredibly kind, patient and genuinely caring. They make him feel
safe, love and supported everyday. He has learnt their names and speaks about them all at home.
Communication is great and i always feel reassured knowing how his day has been and what he's been up to. he's come on so much since being there and it's clear how much effort the staff put into helping each child.

From the moment that our daughter joined Colourbox Haverhill, we really felt the care and support that the amazing teachers gave her throughout her time at the nursery. It was slightly daunting handing over a child when they are so young, but we always felt that the teachers had the very best
interests of each and every child, and were able to tailor their learning approach to our daughter. The Montessori teaching and learning approach in general was excellent, with some very positive and strong role-modelling over the years. The transitions between the teaching rooms as our daughter grew were very well managed, and we loved coming in for birthday circles to celebrate with the class and teachers. The responses to email and telephone communications were super, and as parents we always felt our daughter was in a safe, friendly and fulfilling environment, with valuable experiences. We would highly recommend sending any child here for an early years start to life.

Our twin daughters have been attending Colourbox since they were one year old & we cannot speak highly enough of the care & education they have received.
From the first day, our initial worries about leaving our little ones in unfamiliar surroundings were put at ease. The staff has been nothing
short of exceptional, creating a warm & nurturing environment where our daughters have thrived.
The Montessori approach has had a positive impact on their development. We have been amazed by the progress they have made in all areas, from their confidence & independence to their cognitive & social skills.
The Staff's dedication & passion are evident in everything they do. They have gone above & beyond to support our daughters' individual needs & interests, fostering a love of learning that will stay with them.
We are extremely fortunate to have found Colourbox Nursery for our children. We wholeheartedly recommend to any parent seeking an outstanding early years education for their child.

My daughter has attended Colourbox for nearly 3 years and I can't praise them enough. The Montessori teaching practices, I feel, are crucial to children and teach them how to be independent, thoughtful and respectful of everything and everyone. My daughter has certainly succeeded in all these areas
whilst at Colourbox with the help of the outstanding teachers she's had from the beginning of her journey.
The teachers in the preschool room, where my daughter currently is, are amazing. She comes away with such knowledge and passion for the areas in which she is being taught during her time at the nursery.
The food is high quality and my daughter eats 2 lots of everything! It's fully nutritious and I never worry about her eating there!
Can't recommend the nursery highly enough and will miss them all when my daughter leaves for school next year.

A truly amazing environment for children to grow and learn in.
All 3 of my children have attended Colourbox, one now at school, one in Ocean Room and the other in Sky.
I have witnessed the teachers at Colourbox support, guide and develop my children to be independent, kind and self-motivated. The
whole ethos of Colourbox is child-led learning. They help to foster interest in different topics which has sparked my children to understand a broad range of subjects.
They did a great job in preparing my eldest for school, ensuring she had the ability to manage the transition well and hit the ground running.
They are well-trained and have the skills to manage all situations. They worked proactively with us to manage a medical condition in our youngest child and make suitable adjustments.
In summary a very positive environment, with friendly and engaged staff who care so much.
What a great environment to start your children's lifelong education in.

The staff there are amazing. My son loves going to school, all the staff are friendly, they are very patient. All the children come out happy each time that I am picking up my son. My son is always chatting about the activities he did while he was there. He loves the cookies they made for
Valentine's Day.
He always gets a lot of cuddles from his teacher.

Couldn't be happier with the care and education our little one receives. The staff are caring and experienced. He has been attending since he was 11 months old and he still loves going to 'school'. The only downside is the cost but this is justified by the standard of care they provide.
We are
expecting our second and I will be adding them to the waiting list soon.

Our daughter has been at Colourbox now since October 22.
She is quite a reserved child but she has grown in confidence, loves going to nursery, made friends & loves telling us about her day. The nursery staff are amazing, and informative and show real care for the children and our daughter loves to
give them cuddles when we leave for the day.
There are so many activities that the nursery staff involve the children in throughout the day, with care, thought and fun interest of the children.
We love it when our daughter brings her creations home! Lovely memories to treasure.
Highly recommend this nursery setting!

Our eldest went to Colourbox Haverhill almost 6 years ago and we had such a lovely experience, our new 9-month-old baby now attends. We couldn’t be happier. They clearly have a very strong staff retention as all the same team members are there 6 years on, which creates such a lovely familiar feel.
The staff are so caring, in fact, I don’t think they realise the true impact they had on me personally when my first attended. They will care for your child like they are their own child, they are understanding, professional and informative. Hats off to all of the staff here! You’re all great!

Colourbox Haverhill has been an incredible part of our children’s learning journey. My eldest has recently started reception and it is wonderful to see how the foundation knowledge from nursery has set her up beautifully for school. My youngest is 2 and has been attending for over a year, he loves
the free-flow play to the garden.
The teachers are amazing and always show some much care for all the children.

Our 17 month old absolutely loves the Colourbox. All the staff know her by name and she’s welcomed every day with positive energy and enthusiasm. Staff adapt to her needs so well and support her with her little endeavours. Every day there are a number of activities to keep the children engaged and
entertained. Our little girl gets excited when we get her ready in the morning for nursery and she just thrives here - very confident, happy, inquisitive and independent little lady. The Colourbox have a tasty and healthy meal plan each week and our little one is known to have more than one portion on occasion. Snacks and fruits are provided too so she’s fed well each day. We highly recommend Colourbox.
