Our son moved to the nursery in January at just 1 year old and has had the best experience since. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about him, which really shows. We love the regular updates on the app and seeing the lovely photos throughout the day. He absolutely loves the food
too!
He's just starting a baby sound bath this term, which feels above and beyond what we expected, and we can't wait to see what else he gets up to. We're so glad we chose this nursery and would highly recommend it.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. From the very beginning, the staff have been so caring, patient, and genuinely invested in our son's happiness and development. He has settled in beautifully and absolutely loves going in, which says everything as a parent.
The team create such a warm,
nurturing environment and always keep us well informed about his progress, activities, and milestones. It's clear how much thought and effort goes into helping the children learn, grow, and feel safe and confident.
Knowing our son is happy, supported, and cared for so well gives us complete peace of mind. We're incredibly grateful for everything the staff do and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent x

Overall excellent nursery! I've tried and tested loads of nurseries throughout the years and this one is by far the best! Great communication from staff on little one's day, lots of activities and never had any issues. Keep it up!

It started with the settling in session, I thought we were going to struggle with transition, so I sat in with her and she stayed in my lap mostly, exploring the room but always coming back, staff kept engaging with her but never tried to lure her away, recall this first meet, then they had a little
huddle for songs and to my surprise she got off my lap and nestled on a lovely carers lap, she checked on me intermittently but never came back to stay with me. It was unreal for me to watch but my heart was at peace and it has been since. I'm up to date with her meals, what her day was like, I get to see what she likes..it's a truly phenomenal team they've got, didn't even mention how stress free it was enrolling her, the admin staff are phenomenal too. I know I'm gushing but you would too with this team. I'm thrilled she's so comfortable there.

Our daughter has been attending since she was a baby, she has made her way through all the rooms and has loved spending time with the staff of each room.
She is engaged every-time she goes and has loads to tell me at the end of her day.
The staff always make a fuss of her when she arrives on
a morning in, more often than not, her party dresses! (Who has time to argue at the time on a morning!!)
She has had a couple of issue with behaviour throughout her time at the nursery because of big emotions, and we have worked closely with the staff to come up with plans to help her understand her emotions and control them in a way that keeps everyone safe and happy.
We can't thank the staff enough for taken such good care of our little girl.

Our little girl started at 9 months old in June 2025 and absolutely loves going to nursery! She had a short while of being unsure but the staff in the baby room went above and beyond to help her settle. The communication is excellent, we receive updates throughout the day and photos at the end of
every day so we know what Nancy has eaten, how long she has slept and all the fun activities she has taken part in. There are lots of themes and events to keep her stimulated and learning, the meals are varied and balanced and she always gets involved in everything! The baby team are a huge credit to the nursery

The team are great. My son has been in this nursery since he was 9 months old and we love every single member of staff. Our son will be sad once he moves on from here! Definitely recommend - they keep you up to date at all times and really go the extra mile.

Both my children have attended this nursery & love it. As children who are both very attached to me and reluctant to go to others including family members they have never had issues coming into this nursery setting which shows how great the staff have been/still are with them.

My children have both attended this nursery starting 2020. We live at the other side of town but it is definitely worth the journey coming as the staff are one in a million.
They are kind, understanding and go above and beyond for not only the children but parents aswell. If you have concerns,
they're addressed straight away and always offer any help they can. It's like a big family and has always been like that.

I registered my son in February 2025 and am very happy with the team who look after him. He greets the staff with open arms at drop off and comes out smiling at pick up. The communication is very good so I know exactly what he has been up to all day. Plenty of pictures of them at play and great set
ups to keep the children entertained all day to expand their imagination. Highly recommend Nurtured@Alverthorpe!

All staff are very proffesional and my daughter looks fowatd to going to nursery, staff provide a wide range of diffrent activities and she also lives all the homecooked meals provided, staff keep us parents updated via the app and when collecting and dropping off

My son loves coming to nursery and is always so happy when I drop him off. I am always happy because I know how well he is looked after. He has improved so much during his time at nursery and just keeps getting better. The staff is very friendly and supportive, all questions are always answered. I

My daughter has been at this nursery for nearly a year and half and I can't say 1 single bad word!
All the staff have all the time in the world for the child and keep the parents up to date on everything the child's do.
They always have fun activities for all child and gorgeous models and
painting the child bring home!!
If you ever want to bring your child to a homely, friendly, calm and safe nursery THIS IS THE PLACE!!

My daughter loves coming to nursery. First week for her and she's settled too quick and she cant wait to go to nursery. I'm happy that she enjoying herself, and playing with children and getting them involved in activities. The staff there is so nice and friendly and I love how they send messages to
you if they want to say something and love how they send pictures of the children playing and seeing my daughter enjoying herself makes me happy and comfortable for her to stay there longer. Also, they have a different selection of foods for every day which is good for children to try experience foods they have never tried. My daughter is a fussy eater and she's trying some stuff which she wouldn't eat at home so that's good for children. Overall happy with the experience there and I would recommend to every parent to take their children there.

My little one was just not ready to start nursery at 9 months so the manager kindly allowed me to push the start date back to 12 months. We initially had 2 settling in sessions which wasn't enough so we continued with another 3 short settling in sessions to allow my baby to become familiar with the
surroundings and her key worker. Gradually, she realised I would always come back and that actually, nursery is super fun. She now puts her hands out for nursery staff to take her from me which I wouldn't have believed if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. I get updates, pictures regularly through the app which I enjoy. There are lots of sensory activities for the babies to enjoy and the staff have been very supportive and comforting towards myself and my baby.
I also sent my other child here for 3 years and he is now at school. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there always and wants to come back.
Thank you so much. I would recommend to anyone.

Great, friendly staff. My little girl has a lot of fun when she attends. The app is fabulous, it keeps you updated throughout the day regarding your child and what they have been up to.
Management are available to message for any problems and respond quickly.
My little girl has made some good
connections and the staff are always asking for anything we would like to be taught/what their children are interested in, to develop their learning.

My daughter is 11 months and has been attending nursery since January 2025. I was a little anxious at first about my daughter attending nursery at such a young age but the staff at Nurtured instantly put me at ease with a warm welcome. From the initial settling in sessions, the staff in the baby
room have been so helpful and informative of my child's progress and development. I love receiving the regular updates and can see what my child is up to whilst I'm at work by simply logging into the app. We were allocated a key worker and any concerns or questions are always answered quickly either in person or via the messaging system on the app.

Very understanding with my daughter and her allergies!!
Always willing to help my daughter when she is distressed and overstimulated.

One staff member in particular is one in a million! She helps my daughter with quite a lot!

My daughter attends preschool class and has been going since baby room. She absolutely adores it here.
I can see a massive improvement in her behaviour.
She's constantly coming home telling/showing me something new she's learnt.
The staff are incredible.
