View Full Details of Little Elms Daycare Nursery Catford GreenFantastic nursery! The staff are all brilliant - they are always so warm and welcoming with the children in the mornings, they provide wonderful care and education, and are clearly loved as our son is always babbling their names at home. They serve varied and nutritious meals, and are respectful of parent preferences/requests. They are excellent with their communication and provide updates throughout the day and at the end of the day, in addition to weekly roundups and general progress reports. Our son loves it, we love it, the team there do a fantastic job.
Little one has been with nursery roughly 6 months. Despite changes in that time the nursery has been great in keeping us informed and up to date. The staff are genuinely caring, with special mention to a few members of staff. Love the updates, concern for my bubs' well being and little activities they host from time to time. Great nursery and would definitely recommend.
Our three-year-old son has been at Little Elms since March. He moved from toddlers to preschool and has been looked after so well. The team are always attentive and caring when he’s a little upset in the mornings. He always comes home saying I love nursery. The newsletters are informative and keep us up to date.
Both our children have gone to Little Elms Daycare and thrived there. My 4 year old has been there since he was about 1 and our 6 year old went there too. All the staff are really friendly and warm, and the manager is great. The kids downloads of fun activities, parents get daily updates, and they have plenty of outside time too.
A brilliant, patient team. Lovely surroundings and happy kids! My son looks forward to his days at the nursery and the team there have made him feel right at home. Thank you so much!
We love Little Elms Daycare Catford Green. The staff are friendly and show genuine care for all the children. There are so many varied activities, both my children have been stimulated, entertained and have learned and developed so much. I get a detailed handover at the end of the day and this can be given by any of the team members in the room which shows that all of them are aware of what my child is doing throughout the day which I find very impressive.
My daughter loves her time at Little Elms Daycare Catford Green and has come on leaps and bounds since starting there over a year ago. I’m an ex early years teacher and wanted a child-centred and play-based nursery - we hit the jackpot with Little Elms Catford Green, with their focus on each child as an individual - their needs, interests, and areas for development - and learning through play and exploration. The interactions between the talented staff and the children are nurturing, calm, caring and consistent, and fun! I feel like the nursery is an extension of home and that my little girl is cared for brilliantly. Their outdoor space is fairly small but the team set it up really well, with plenty of opportunities for movement and exercise. She’ll be leaving in September to go to primary school and, whilst we’ll be very sad to say goodbye, we know they’ve given our daughter firm foundations for success in Reception class. Couldn’t be happier.
We've had a very positive experience of Little Elms in Catford Green. Our daughter has always found it hard to settle away from us but after just a short while she runs into nursery excited about the day ahead. All the team, but particularly her room leader and key worker, are both very talented at providing high levels of care and stimulating activities for our daughter. They've been accommodating with any requests and we've always felt completely confident with the management and running of the nursery.
Little Elms in Catford Green have been fantastic with my son who started this week. They've made sure they're doing all they can to help him settle in and are great at feeding back to us. Would reccomend this nursery to any parents!
Well located near Catford train stations but significantly far from the main road towards Ladywell Fields. Great staff and happy babies and toddlers abound. I get jealous of all the fantastic meals provided which amongst other helpful details are provided on a daily report card. Recommended.
My daughter started here in June starting 2 mornings a week and increasing to 3 full days. She has formed really good bonds with the staff and her pictures show how much she enjoys it there. Feedback is always detailed and great and staff are really approachable and friendly. They really took the time to get to know my little girl, and us, and about her likes, and when I get pictures it's always of fun activities with things she likes in. The management are always on hand if you need them and happy to help. My daughter has really progressed since starting here, mainly in her language. I can't wait to see how much she continues to grow. Thanks Little Elms.
We joined this nursery in July 2019 when my child was 12 months. The staff went above and beyond to ensure she was fully settled in, including extra settling in sessions to ensure she was fully comfortable and integrated. We were kept updated on how she was doing, including telephone calls and emails. Management are excellent, they run the nursery impeccably and reply to all queries straight away. They have been supportive to our family and understanding of my little girl's needs. I love how they know all the children by name as well. My daughter has built some great friendships and developed bonds with many members of staff ensuring a smooth transition into the toddler room a few months ago. They have a varied calendar of events including cultural activities which has kept my daughter stimulated and engaged at all times including a special visit from Peppa Pig. My girl is thriving and exceeding milestones. We have parents evenings, daily feedback and an online journal.
My two children have been at this nursery for nearly a year. Between them, they have been in every age room at the nursery. We have all had such a positive experience so far in every room. The staff are great. I’ve been pleased that there is a solid core of staff that have been there from the beginning and my kids have formed some really good relationships with them. My kids have always been looked after really well, they have a good routine and the staff are really caring. Our experience is one of a very safe environment. Some particular positives - weekly Spanish and dance lessons for all age groups. They had tennis for a while too. My kids have loved these and my two-year-old was saying ‘Hola’ before he was saying ‘hello’. The app (for older rooms), staff update the app on what your kid has been doing with photos/videos. Really like this. Management communication is excellent (email/calls). Lots of activities in rooms.
Wonderful staff! Modern facilities with lots of natural light and clean/educational toys. My two children have been going to the nursery since Augusta 2019, and we cannot fault it. It is away from the pollution of the south circular and has many trees/parks surrounding it. The food menu is exceptional too!
Our daughter is really settled and comfortable at Little Elms. She has a great relationship with her keyworker and has benefited from the continuity of care she receives there. The rooms are equipped to a high standard with lots of different activity stations that have been very carefully and creatively thought out, the children have a varied and stimulating routine day to day. There’s lots of space for the kids to explore both inside and outside. The entire building is immaculate and modern, it’s a really nice nursery and we are really happy and reassured that our daughter enjoys going so much.
Our two year old daughter has been at this nursery for nearly a year and we couldn’t be happier with our experience there. The building is lovely and modern, with spacious rooms and generous outdoor areas. The equipment, toys and activity stations are new, varied and exciting. The team working with our daughter are all so great, receptive, caring and friendly. They organise fun activities for the kids like ceramic painting, Spanish lessons and dance classes which really sets them apart. Our daughter has special needs and they have been incredibly proactive working with us to ensure she is included and that her additional needs are met. She loves it so much I sometimes struggle to get her home because she doesn’t want to leave. We will be putting our second child into this nursery with the Little Elms team this year.
