This has got to be the best nursery around. Its amazing. All the staff are so lovely and helpful. It's got everything the children need and much, much more. Our little girl has come on so much since starting here and we are so sad that she is leaving now that she's starting big school

Our child has been attending Hilltops Day Nursery for a couple of years now and with her originally being a looked after child when she started that brought a whole lot of additional work/ boundaries that would not usually be the case. The nursery and the staff have been amazing, she is now a confident little girl, she is now ready and excited to start school and no longer a looked after child. If we (or they) had any problems/ concerns we could talk about them and they were swiftly sorted. She remembers all of her nursery teachers from different rooms, and I can see how much love and care she has for them and they have for her in the way she speaks or interactions with them. It is an amazing setting and the staff are amazing. We will be sad when it comes time to say goodbye, but she has learnt so much, she started as a shy little 2 year old who wouldn't speak to staff and would only speak to a couple of children, to one who will talk to all staff and children.

We have only had a great experience with Hilltop Tots. The staff are all friendly and caring and take the time to know your child. I feel very happy leaving my child at nursery and knowing all her needs are met.

Writing this review as my child is about to leave Hilltop Tots to go to school and feel that a review is a must. Starting from the beginning my child was at the old setting and even though it was small the vibe as soon as we stepped through the door was amazing and positive my then 9month old son crawled straight to toys then staff and I knew it was for him! Fast forward to the move to current premises and wow the changes to the build the constant upgrading and wanting the best for all the children is just phenomenal. As a parent you genuinely feel like part of the Hilltop tops family! The baby days app is always updated with pictures and information about the day. My son loves coming everyday and I know he is in the best hands and will be playing and learning from the amazing outside space throughout most of the day! Staff are fantastic & approachable. The goats and chickens are extra pets for all the children to help out with! Please take a look around you will not be disappointed!

Our daughter has loved her time at Hilltop Tots. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic and always greet/wave her off with a big smile. The building and grounds are fantastic and they've worked so hard to modernise it and make it a wonderful environment for the kids. The garden is huge with animals for the children to look after. Our daughter has learnt so much whilst she has been here, she has left full of confidence and great social skills, fully ready for school.

Cannot recommend this nursery anymore if I tried! It's more like home from home! Staff cannot do enough for my daughter, she has had a few operations and is very shy and has separation anxiety the manager and her team couldn't have done enough to make her settle straight away and each day making her thrive! She has come on so much with her confidence, social interaction and also learning. Day to day pictures so I know everything she has been up to have been amazing each day seeing what she has been up too! They have recently done up there outdoor area with separate stations for the children to play including there own farm with goats and chickens! Which my daughter loved! Own veg patch, camping area and mud kitchen!! I'm so sad that my little girl is leaving to go to school! Hilltop tots will always have a special place in our hearts xxx

A truly wonderful nursery, the best in the city by far! My little girl has enjoyed every minute and we are sad to graduate onto school. The little goats are such a great addition to the space. Forest school is excellent and outdoor space is continually being improved. Wishing the nursery all the very best!

We were recommended to Hilltop and they have certainly lived up to that recommendation. The care and attention to detail shown by the manager and her team have exceeded any expectations. Our little girl loves her days at nursery and the variety of tasks and activities throughout the week. Although very sad to be moving on, we won't hesitate to send future children to Hilltop. Thank you again to all the amazing staff for your outstanding service.

Our daughter has been coming to Hilltop Tots for just over two years and absolutely loves it. She has come on so much with the support the nursery and all the staff. I couldn't think of anywhere better to send her.

Fantastic nursery. Amazing staff. Our daughter thrived and couldn't recommend high enough. Staff are friendly and caring, keep in contact with parents and are very inclusive. Could not speak more highly of this nursery.

The most amazing nursery to send your child to. I could want or wish for anyone else to look after my children and watching them flourish has been amazing. So sad to see my children leave to go to school.

Cannot recommend Hilltop Tots enough. Both of my children have been looked after by the most amazing team. Our daughter initially went to them in 2019 at the old location and when we reached back out to Hilltop Tots to get my son into nursery in 2022 it was the reconnecting with old friends, we were greeted by the same staff who looked after my daughter years prior. I honestly can't fault them, they are like an extension of family to the kids, from Easter eggs, birthday cards and Christmas presents. They always go above and beyond for the kids and their families, I can remember being heavily pregnant in lockdown when all of the nurseries were shut, having Easter eggs delivered to our house for my daughter. Hilltop Tots makes you feel like a family and we will forever be grateful to each and every member of staff! Love you all!

I initially visited the nursery in late 2022 in prep for my daughter getting her free hours in April 2023. It was the first nursery I visited and as soon as I went in I knew it was the right place to send her. The setting was very homely and intimate. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They told me about lots of outdoor play they do which was perfect for my little girl as she hates being inside. I made my decision that I would be sending her there. My daughter has now been at this nursery for just under a year. When she first started attending I was worried she wasn’t hitting milestones regards to her speech and confidence. The staff have helped so much. She is absolutely thriving in every aspect and I’d say the staff had a big hand in that. The staff get to know the parents on a personal level and make time for you and your child. Without a doubt, I will be sending my second little one when she is ready! I can not praise each and every member of the team enough.

I don’t even know where to begin... This nursery literally saved us from the heartache of our former nursery closing down suddenly. My son has suspected autism and this change was going to tip his world upside down until we stumbled across the amazing nursery called Hilltop Tots Day Nursery who took in my son with open arms and loved him like their own! He doesn’t take well to strangers but he instantly fell in love with all of the staff at the nursery. They literally want the best for every single child and can’t do enough for them! I myself being on this journey of potential autism with my son has been difficult at times and trying to navigate my way through finding help for my son and applying for EHCP etc. The manager at the nursery has literally dropped everything and helped me more than she’ll ever know! I can’t thank all the staff enough for everything they’ve done not just for my son but for me. They deserve all the recognition they can get they’re all amazing!

My daughter always loves going. She’s excited in the morning to meet the other children, especially her friend and she enjoys spending time with the younger children and helping them. A great nursery, with an excellent manager. My daughter will definitely return.

From the moment you walk in, you are made to feel like family! Staff are very welcoming, approachable, and professional. My son loved it here so much, he would tell me each evening the fun things he had been up to during the day and the yummy things he’d been eating, it was so lovely to hear and made me feel content knowing that he was very happy there. The staff are amazing with all the children, and the nursery is set out beautifully with large rooms and a big outdoor space to explore. Words can’t express enough what a lovely nursery this is, I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone looking for childcare for their son/daughter.

Amazing! From having a shy little girl grow in confidence has been amazing to see, she goes into nursery happily and comes home chatting about her day! Staff are always so welcoming and always there to help! Definitely recommend!

Fantastic nursery! Both of my children have loved attending and talk about the children and staff with great fondness. The curriculum is varied and covers all of the EYFS areas and staff go above and beyond to ensure the children receive the best care and education.

Hilltop Tots Day Nursery has been the best possible nursery for my little one! Staff are so warm, nurturing, patient, fun and child-centred. They go above and beyond to make children feel safe, secure and valued leading to them thriving!

The staff at Hilltop Tots Day Nursery are truly unbelievable, their professionalism is amazing alongside the care and love they give. The nursery environment as a whole is perfect, giving the children the most beautiful place to learn and grow.
