Could not recommend North Street Nursery more! The staff are so friendly, welcoming and really spend time getting to know the children & focusing on their interests. My daughter loves nursery & has built great relationships with the other children and the staff whilst she has been there :)

Being a first time mom Nursery was a very scary leap. North street Nursery has helped the leap seem more like a step. Their care and activities have been fantastic and a pivitol role in my sons Development.

Very good review overall. The staff is making a strong difference and they always manage to have sufficient staff at any given day despite all the staff challenges they're facing. For example, they have recently employed quite a few people. Staff is also really caring, helping babies develop their ability and learning. and babies are very happy. They also show good flexibility. Also they're extending the nursery spaces. Food seems to be OK, but they're also trying to improve it. The only real thing where they could improve is the absence of natural daylight in the babies room. But they go out from time to time and tons of activities

My child started in April and I couldn't be more happy with the nursery and staff, who are approachable, accommodating and super responsive. My child loves going in which makes me happy too. I like that they do Stay and Play sessions for the care givers throughout the year and they are great at updating the app so you can see what they've been up to.

My son has settled very well into North Street Nursery, and I've found the process very seamless thanks to the staff. I love that they do outings everyday to the park (weather permitting), and I enjoy seeing the photos of my child out and about. There's good communication from management and I've found the app extremely useful as one point of contact/information.

Nothing but good experiences after 6 months at North St Nursery. The staff are great, treating our daughter brilliantly and always supporting and attentive to her needs. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nursery in the Bedminster / Southville area of Bristol.

My older child has recently finished at North Street and moved onto school. He had a wonderful time there and most days in pre-school it was difficult to persuade him to come home! The pre-school did an amazing job of preparing him for school and he has been confident at school from day 1. My youngest is now in the baby room and is thriving there. The staff always give detailed handover information and it's lovely to see the observations of what they've been up to during the day along with information about their development.

We are blown away by the level of care that our daughter receives at North Street Nursery. From the very beginning, you have all been very professional, so understanding of her additional needs and so friendly and informative to us as her parents. Dropping her off at nursery for the first time in January was a very big (and scary!) deal for us, but you made the transition as easy as possible and kept us informed of any issues or questions you had, to which we are very grateful. Seeing her grow and develop both physically and mentally under your care and, above all, really enjoy her time at nursery has been so special for us as a family. Her key worker has been outstanding since day one, we honestly couldn’t be happier with her level of care. The same goes for all other staff members taking on her additional needs with such positivity and enthusiasm. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for all you do for our daughter and for playing such a positive role in her life.

Since my child started at North Street, she has settled so fast with the help of friendly and encouraging staff. Her fabulous bakery room staff quickly grasped her personality and interest in all things energetic. My child has been encouraged to make friends, to explore building, messy play, getting out to the garden and most importantly she has been safely supervised through it all. My child is very active and keen to put everything on her face or in her mouth and staff have been excellent in keeping her stimulated and stopping her eating sand/rice/paint etc. It is not easy to juggle supervising multiple tiny people and being energetic and upbeat all the time. Myself and my child's dad greatly appreciate the work you put in on a daily basis to feed/re-dress and entertain her whilst she learns about the world around her. You guys are all very patient and kind with our wee child and she loves going in to see her friends!

Lovely nursery with caring and supportive staff. My child didn't have any issues settling and goes in with a smile. The outside space is limited due to its inner city location but they have done what they can with the space available. Recent changes to the split in the Bakery room have been great. Well done North Street Nursery.

My almost 3 year old has been attending NSN for just over 12 moths now and he loves it! The staff are so friendly and brilliant with the children, they do lots of engaging activities and trips to the local park to learn about the outdoors and road/stranger safety. He always come out absolutely filthy, which I take as a sign he’s had a good time and got involved in the learning! The fee structure for when your child turns 3 and gets the free hours is much fairer than our previous nursery. We can fully utilise the free hours we are entitled to without restriction, which is also much more affordable for working parents. The opening hours are flexible and include bank holidays, which is very handy if you need to work bank holidays. Overall, we are really happy with NSN and would recommend to any prospective parents looking for a new nursery.

Since my son has started here at North Street Nursery I could not believe how much he has already developed in only a matter of weeks. My son rarely said a word before starting at the setting and now 2 months on he has been able to put together a sentence. When he first started, he would get upset when leaving him at the door, but now he walks in by himself. My son is not the easiest child to care for and I could not thank every staff member enough for the amount of patience and care they have put in to meeting my son's needs. Thank you all ever so much.

Our children have had a wonderful time at North St Nursery. They have loved going into preschool, making friends and doing lots of fun stuff they so enjoy telling us about. Staff at the nursery really engage and the kids have developed and progressed in confidence and skills throughout their time at North Street whilst always being very happy there. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend North Street Nursery to others.

Both my children are always happy to go to nursery which I think says it all! I’m extremely grateful to the nursery for staying open for key workers during the pandemic. Outdoor space is smaller than other nurseries but they use it well and pre-Covid they were always really good at getting the children out and about (even had a trip to the zoo), hopefully, this will start again soon. I like the regular updates on the app both on a day to day basis and for learning objectives/progress. Staff are always kind, helpful and enthusiastic about learning.

My daughter has benefited hugely from attending North Street Nursery, it’s been wonderful to see her confidence grow. I’ve been so pleased with the great care her providers have given her, she always comes out with a smile on her face! Highly recommend.

My daughter has flourished at North Street Nursery, she has developed great relationships with her key workers and fellow peers. It is clear that the staff are invested in the children’s well-being and have been brilliant with establishing/maintaining routines and offering advice. I would absolutely recommend North Street Nursery.

I've used a few nurseries in Bristol, and I can honestly say North Street have been the best of the bunch, the interaction with parents has been exceptionally good and the the way in which the 2020 lock down was dealt with was a great example of their very high level of service to both children and parents. Highly recommended.

Our daughter has been to 3 different nurseries for a variety of reasons and settled quickest at North Street Nursery. She's always been happy to go in and see the staff, who are always pleased to chat outside with parents, no matter the weather. My concern before she started was the lack of outdoor space but they use it well and pre-Covid she enjoyed some super trips, to local areas and even once to the zoo! The app they use is useful for seeing what they're up to during the day if you want to know how much they ate for lunch, for example. Management are always quick to help out with queries and are helpful with questions about things like Tax-Free Childcare accounts.

We have two children attending North Street. This is a lovely nursery with very dedicated and enthusiastic staff. We have always been happy to leave our children with them, confident they are receiving excellent care. Any issues have been responded to promptly, with good, clear communication. Most of all, we are happy that our kids have fun with a wide range of stimulating activities. We are happy to recommend North Street Nursery!

North Street Nursery is the only reason we've survived this pandemic! We have not been able to spend much time inside the nursery because of covid but I can tell that the practitioners care deeply about my daughters and observe them closely. The girls have such affection for everyone there and really look forward to going every day. It's really wonderful for me to know they are in caring hands.
