View Full Details of Beaumont House Day NurseryBeaumont House is a great nursery with brilliant staff. My eldest daughter joined at 15 months and has just finished to start school, she thoroughly enjoyed her time at nursery and in the last year they really helped her to get ready for school, with daily activities to practice letters, numbers and writing. My youngest daughter has been at BH for 8 months in the baby room, and is also really enjoying it. She is learning so many key skills through the activities and the big selection of toys to play with. The staff are all so lovely and supportive, caring about each child to help them develop. It's great the children go out on daily walks to see and try new things, for example going to the sandpit, the library or to feed the ducks. There are always different activities to try and the staff put a lot of effort in to make the day interesting and fun for the children. It's lovely to see what they have been doing each day with plenty of details and photos uploaded daily to the app.
Really splendid nursery who have looked after our little one beautifully. They're super kind and caring, the app is brilliant and allows us to see what's going on - and they're very honest and open about everything that goes on. He's so happy to be dropped off every day he's in, and we've actually been moved by the brilliance of one of his activities (rugby tots) to seek extra sessions outside of nursery. Thanks so much.
Our little one has been at Beaumont since he was 6 months old, and he loves it. After some difficulty with staff turnover a little while back, the staff have rallied tremendously well to create a safe, nurturing, welcoming, educational and fun environment for the kids. Although they don't have a lot of outside space at the nursery site, they make up for it with regular trips to the riverside and local parks. We love the visiting music service and look forward to the other visiting sport and other activities as our little one moves through the age levels. We love the regular photos and updates that really show what a great time the kids (and staff!) are having, makes me jealous that I have to be at work! Always welcoming when we are running in at the start and then end of the drop off period, we are so grateful for the caring and supporting family that Beaumont House has created.
Cannot praise the staff of Beaumont enough - they are so energetic, creative, loving and kind. Our daughter was in the baby room for a year and she would talk about the staff at home and ask to go to nursery school at the weekends! She's moved to pre school recently and they've helped her transition and settle in so well, which we're very grateful for. The games they set up are varied, educational and informed by the seasons, and they take lots of trips to enjoy green spaces locally which is so important in an urban nursery. The facilities are on par with other nursery's we looked at locally -ditto the fees - but the staff really set this place apart.
My boy has been attending at Beaumont House for more than 18 months. He is now Three and a half and gets so much fun there I can see how happy is going everyday. The staff is lovely and kind with kids. They do everyday lots of different activities inside the room and outdoor. Nursery is very clean and healthy and fresh food is providing every day. They send informative updates every day. Honestly I could not recommend Beautmont enough.
I am beyond happy that my child is a part of Beaumont House. Nursery is very clean and well equipped. Staff is very friendly and very welcoming. They really help parents to go through (not always easy) settling period. Lots of daily activities makes it fun for my son. I really appreciate the fact how nursery is designed - monochromatic and without overstimulating colours. I can really recommend this nursery.
My grandson has had 3 years of loving care from all the staff. He has been stimulated educated and entertained by divergent activities every day. He has made strong friendships with the other children and is now excited and ready for 'big school' well done Beaumont.
This nursery is absolutely fantastic. My child has been attending here for the last year and the staff and facilities are absolutely wonderful. The staff are communicative, caring and always think of wonderful games to play. The nursery doesn't have lots of outside space (as is typical in London) but the staff plan fun outings most days. We feel so reassured sending our child there and feel it's a really supportive environment for a child to spend time in.
We are very happy with the current staff, hopefully everyone feels motivated and appreciated by the management so they stay. Care and interest into individual child's development is genuine. Learning and activities are at appropriate level, delivered with enthusiasm and centered around children's needs and abilities. Food is generally at a good standard and a new menu is being implemented. Only downside at present is the unusable outdoor area, hopefully this will get the necessary attention by the management and get sorted. The positive is that the children are regularly taken to walks to the nearby parks/riverside. Toilet and potties can be given a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness. Children are encouraged to be independent in every aspect of their nursery life. Overall, a great, caring place where children are happy and safe, encouraged to learn and make friends.
Beaumont House is a great nursery. There is now a new manager and staff in the baby room are consistent. We sent our son at 11 months; the transition was smooth and he is very happy there. Each morning he arrives with a big smile on his face. The activities in the baby room are varied, engaging and educational. He particularly enjoys the messy play, Tiny Tunes and cookery club. The staff are warm and very attentive. Knowing he is settled and well cared for has made the return to work easy for us both. Thank you - I would recommend this nursery.
We are really happy with the care we receive at Beaumont House Day Nursery. Our son has been there for 6 months and we have really seen his development accelerate socially, physically and emotionally in the baby room. The workers are so attentive and caring, and we really appreciate that the babies have dedicated key workers to bond with. He is so happy at drop-off. We also love that Beaumont always provides a daily update with pictures and fun and engaging learning activities, plus themes for each week (art, science, fitness etc). We really like the calendar we receive at the start of the month, highlighting the upcoming holidays and all the fun and creative things the kids will be doing to celebrate them. The food has also been excellent and healthy, and we have seen a lot of care and attention to our son as we have navigated allergies, not to mention his tastes have really expanded. Last but not least, we also really appreciate that the kids are frequently going outdoors to play and see nature!
Our daughter joined Beaumont House Day Nursery in the babies room in August 2024. While we were initially concerned by staffing changes in the first few months, we were suitably reassured by the communications we received from staff about how it would be dealt with. While there have been some blips in terms of getting to a good place, we feel that overall the matter has been addressed and our child has good relationships with the staff who have been onboarded and those who were already there when she joined. We believe she is in safe hands whenever she is in nursery. We're glad we didn't have a knee jerk reaction to our initial concerns as she has truly thrived in the time she has been there; she learns so much every day, she has developed lots of new skills, she really seems to enjoy her trips out and about, and she has built friendships with the other children. We really feel she has benefitted from being in nursery and this setting offers just what we need for her.
Beaumont House Day Nursery is back running as a lovely nursery providing a great service of care to our child. He stayed with the nursery through their period of high staff turnover, and now with a great team, they seem to be back on track and doing really well. A lot of this has to do with the individual team members.
Beaumont House Day Nursery is a second home for my daughter. She started off so nervous with a lot of tears and I was so worried. But within a couple of weeks, she now walks in confidently to some of the most gentle, loving and friendly staff I could have asked for. I never worry when she's in nursery, they share so many reassuring updates and I'm confident that she loves every second of the activities they put in every day. My daughter has dietary restrictions which they support fully. I couldn't ask for anything else from the team here!
Parents be very cautious when considering this nursery. We put our children into Beaumont House nine months ago as we were very impressed by the team and their on-site management. It was a genuinely 5-star nursery and pre-school. Since January this year 11 wonderful key members of staff have either been sacked or have left. We raised our concerns along with 60+ other parents with head office asking them to stabilise the situation and support the remaining key carers. This has not happened and recently there has been another wave of resignations due to stress, pressure and lack of management support. This setting is almost completely run by bank and agency workers with new faces looking after the children each day. Some of the children are finding this really hard. Enough is enough and we are pulling our children out asap.
We have moved our child to Beaumont House recently and only over the past 6/7 months we have witnessed 7 resignations of (absolutely fantastic) key staff members. 2 nursery managers, 2 heads of room (Babies and Preschool) and other key carers. This nursery is now running as a skeleton of its former self, with the majority of carers being from childcare agencies, with no continuity of care. Please consider it before choosing BH to look after your child.
2 words to describe this place - top draw! The staff are always extremely friendly and there’s so much room for activities, which there’s plenty of. Our child especially likes to go and see the ducks. He also adores his teachers.
Beaumont House is such a cosy place for my baby to attend. He went in for half days at just six months old and was looked after so well I have no worries at all. The staff are super friendly, patient and kind, even though I know my baby is fussy sometimes! They’ve always had much love for him. He absolutely loves going in and is learning new skills every day. They offer many creative activities that I would never have thought of at home, and they take the babies out and about wrapped up warm to discover the outdoors too. I always get an update on what he’s been doing.
I have had my two children at Beaumont House and their experience was very positive. The staff are very caring and loving and the kids create immediate bonds with all of them. They are responsive and keep adjusting their play areas and activities to keep the kids engaged. Really pleased.
Great facilities, caring and accommodating staff who have a genuine interest in the children’s well-being and development. When they leave Beaumont House Nursery, the children are confident learners who are ready to start school.
