My partner and I are so pleased with the care our daughter receives at this nursery. She truly enjoys her time there and especially loves the food, with lots of fruit and nutritious options provided. We've seen such a lovely improvement in her communication skills-she now sings songs at home and
even uses Makaton to sign "more" and "all done," which is amazing to see.
The staff are wonderful-so kind, caring, and always comforting. It's clear how happy and settled she is, and she especially enjoys the activities, particularly spending time outdoors and running around. Thank you all so much Wivenhoe Munchkins Nursery & Pre-School for everything you do-we really appreciate it!!

My little girl has attended here since she was 9m old & she's soon going to be 3! The girls here are amazing, she absolutely adores each and every one of them, like they do her. Coming from a childcare background myself, I knew what I wanted for my own children and I found exactly that at munchkins.
I couldn't imagine her anywhere else & my baby will be starting soon too xx

Our daughter started here at one year old and has really thrived. She spent her first year in the Baby Cabin, and the whole team there was really good-with a special mention to Nancy, who was fantastic with her.
What we've appreciated most is how well they got to know her as an individual. They
quickly learned her likes and dislikes, and they were always able to pick up on her moods. It was so reassuring to know that on her sensitive days-whether she was poorly or teething-they knew when she needed a few extra hugs and when she just needed to be distracted with play.
She has recently moved up to the Toddler Room and is settling in well. The team there has clearly put in the effort to understand her needs and make her feel welcomed during the transition. It's been a really positive experience for our family, and we're so glad she's in such caring hands.

An excellent nursery with brilliant staff and facilities. Our child loves the option of going outside and is always happy to go in the nursery in the morning, then is always really excited to tell me about their day when they leave whether it's going to see the chickens, the trains or the boats. The
food they are given is great from what I see coming through on the app. We chose the nursery as it doesn't have the "school" feel of other nurseries whilst still offering an incredibly rich learning environment. Our child is definitely benefitting from this as learning is fun and they love to explore and enjoy new experiences.

My daughter has been going to Munchkins since February and it's safe to say she loves it. She's in the baby room and I can tell she's really well looked after. She's always excited to be handed over in the morning and the frequent photo updates let's me see what she gets up to there and she's
smiling in almost every photo.
She's recently started weaning too and the staff have been excellent introducing new foods to her and making meals fun which has caused her to be a foodie girl.
I'm very happy with my choice of nursery and trust them completely with my daughter. Would definitely recommend Munchkins.

My daughter started in January just gone, prior to this she had some settling in days in December and she did absolutely amazing! The staff answered all questions myself and my partner had to put us at ease and warmed to our daughter very quickly. They are amazing at communicating if there has been
an issue (not that there ever is) and gave great ways to help my daughter settle once she started going to nursery frequently. They have a lot to offer not just for the children but for parents too. All the staff are super friendly and always greeting the parents with a smile. From 2 months of my daughter attending her social skills have drastically improved I am so grateful for all the staff support to help my daughter develop as well as always offering her any food available to help encourage her to explore new foods

My daughter attends pre school room and is thriving! She loves going in and is happy every time I collect her. My daughter talks so highly of everyone who looks after her and tells us all about the fun things she gets up to. We love seeing all her updates on tapestry and this is always filled with
such lovely photos, thanks to her key worker Kayleigh!
We couldn't thank all the wonderful staff enough for always putting our little girl first and making sure she has the best time.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone we know

My son had such a wonderful time at Munchkins. The staff are all so nurturing and thoughtful, and he really enjoyed that he spent most of his time outside! Their get ready for school program really helped prepare him for school, and his transition to primary school has gone so well, which I think is
in large part down to Munchkins.

My son has been attending the nursery for a year now, and I feel confident leaving him there twice a week. I know he's spending his days enjoying outdoor play, engaging in educational activities, and working on creative projects. I love receiving updates, which give me a glimpse of all the wonderful
things he's been up to.
When my son first joined, it was a difficult time for our family, and a staff members empathy and thoughtful approach made all the difference. From the very beginning, she has been incredibly supportive, keeping me updated on his milestones and any challenges he faced. Her clear communication and genuine care have been truly appreciated.
I'm grateful to the entire team for creating such a nurturing environment where my son can learn, grow, and be happy.

Lovely nursery and would recommend to anyone. Our 1st daughter came here and knew our 2nd needed to come here. Any concerns or queries have always been listened to and dealt with straight away which is greatly appreciated.

My son loves to attend Nursery, he loves the staff especially one member of staff in the baby room who is amazing with him. We have never had any problems and he skips through the gate in the morning no problems. The facilities are also great and they have such a broad array of activities on offer!

Wonderful nursery, our children love it at Munchkins Nursery & Preschool. Fabulous people. The nursery has a lovely outdoor area, which our children enjoy. There is lots of activities and equipment to interact with. The yurt is a great space for extra fun. Meals are nutritional. Updates are provided
on Tapestry and this is a great tool to see what your children have been up to. The nursery looks over the playing field and woodland. Great for nature and wildlife. Forest school is also provided here, which is another great asset.

My son attends Munchkins Nursery & Preschool in Wivenhoe and he absolutely loves it. Since first attending, his confidence has grown exponentially. He socialises well with larger groups of children, which is something he was shy to do before. The staff have always been very thoughtful and helpful.
My son looks forward to his days at nursery. The systems used by the nursery are very informative; with regular updates and daily videos / photos of what my son has been up to at his exciting day at nursery.

I was really worried about my little boy starting nursery, but the staff at Munchkins Nursery and Preschool have been so great at helping him settle in. They are so friendly and always have such a welcoming smile! My son loves being outside and can't get enough of their sandpit and outside space!
His speech has really improved since starting there and he always looks so happy when he comes out to meet us.

Our daughter is really engaged and loves the outdoor space and creative amenities. Staff are great, particularly our current key worker. We would highly recommend Munchkins Nursery Wivenhoe to other parents.

We found Munchkins when we were still relatively new to the area after seeing an advert on social media. Straight away, the nursery stood out with its fantastic setting in a beautiful park with a woodland area. It has a forest school feel, lots of outdoor learning, and a Montessori-inspired
approach, which we loved.
The staff are brilliant- professional, knowledgable, kind, caring, and friendly. Our daughter's key worker is incredible. She has gone above and beyond to help our little girl settle in, always bringing warmth and patience. It is heartwarming seeing her run into the nursery full of confidence and excitement to see her new friends!
They get to go on little walks, we get updated throughout the day with a care diary and we also get cute little videos and pictures on the app, which is a bonus!
We would highly recommend Muchkins.

Munchkins is a true gem! The staff here are wonderful, very kind and loving and caring and clearly very attentive towards our daughter.
The food served is healthy and varied and the activities provided are creative and work towards all sorts of development, often I'm impressed about what is
thought of!
What we appreciate the most about Munchkins is the uploads of her diary and her daily activities on the app and at pick-up time, as well as any concerns that might pop up.
Our daughter always wakes up excited for nursery day during the week and calls the staff there her friends so it's very clear that she is safe, happy and attended to there.

An absolutely wonderful nursery for my son, I love the child led learning and it has helped my on the go develop so many new physical/social skills. Before he was a keep to himself kid that didn't like being approached by anyone but mum and dad and now he has grown so much and loves to play with
other kids and enjoys extended family so much more. There home cooked meals have introduced him to new textures and flavours and this has really shown at home, I no longer feel stressed for what he will eat for tea, truly wonderful. The large outdoor area was so unique that I knew it was the place for him and his adventurous self and the staff encourage him to try new things safely without installing any doubt into his mind. I've seen my son grow into a bold, confident outgoing boy and I know Munchkins will continue to support him into becoming the boy he wants to become.

Munchkins Wivenhoe is a fabulous nursery setting, located on the playing field, surrounded by lovely green space and woodlands. The outdoor space consists of covered and uncovered areas, mature trees and yurt. There is lots to do and lots to keep children of all ages engaged. The staff are friendly
and lovely, they make sure the care provided is second to none. Our second child is nearing the end of their Munchkins journey and she has loved it as much as our eldest. The activities are interesting and keep the children engaged in learning. Inside the nursery is clean with lots to do. The children are encouraged to do things for themselves and supported where necessary. We as a family are extremely pleased with how Munchkins have prepared our little ones for the world and primary school. You only really appreciate this when they start school. They know how to act, behave, interact, engage and play with others. A real credit to the efforts made by the staff at Munchkins. Well done.
