My little boy started The Abbey nursery in May when he was around 9 months. I was returning to work, and I felt so emotional about this next chapter for the both of us. The team at The Abbey made this transition so much easier for us as a family, offering full reassurance that he was in safe hands. The settling in sessions were well structured, providing clear information about the nursery and the staff were really keen to understand my sons routine to ensure they followed this as much as they could in the setting. The relationships they have built with my son are fantastic. They know his little ways, and always keep me up to date about his day and also his development. He's come on so much since starting, and I can't wait for him to continue his journey at The Abbey. The staff go above and beyond, and I couldn't be more thankful.

My son Lincoln loves going to nursery, he's always happy and clean when I come to pick him up and the staff are always attentive glad to see him. We're given good feedback on his activities during the day and any progress he's making developmentally. The food is good and made specially on site and Link eats all of it every time. I'm very happy leaving g him in the care of the Abbey.

My son has been attending this nursery for nearly a year now and I couldn't be happier with the care he receives. In these past few months, I've noticed such a big difference in his development - he's grown in confidence and is thriving every day. The staff are absolutely fantastic - friendly, welcoming, and always there with a smile. They've built such a lovely relationship with him, which puts my mind at ease, especially on days when he might be upset at drop-off. The atmosphere is always happy and positive, and the environment feels so safe and nurturing. I'm so grateful for the support and care they provide - it really makes all the difference knowing he's in such a wonderful place.

My eldest daughter went to The Abbey & now my youngest does. The staff are great & care so much for all the children. Each day is filled with different activities to encourage the children to learn & grow. Both girls have developed greatly during their time there.

I cannot speak highly enough about this nursery! They have been absolutely brilliant with my child, always attentive to her needs. Whether it's providing a comforting hug, encouraging her to build confidence, or offering assistance with potty training, the staff goes above and beyond in their care. The caregivers are not just lovely and friendly, but they also maintain excellent communication with us as parents, keeping us informed about our child's progress and milestones. It's evident that they genuinely care about the children and their development. I would highly recommend to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive nursery. Our experience has been nothing short of wonderful.

Great nursery! My little boy started in December and he settled in right from the start. He is making a lovely bond with the ladies in there and I can always tell when I pick him up that he's really enjoyed his day! He eats well, as they always say he has eaten everything offered to him! I can't wait to continue to see his progress here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the abbey to anyone! I love the fact they have an app so you are able to communicate through there if need be, and although it's not often I really enjoy getting photos through the day off what my little boy has been up to as that puts your mind at ease! A big thankyou from me!

My child absolutely loves attending the abbey nursery. We spend many evenings going through what activities have taken place in attendance. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They have worked with my child to grow their confidence, working on behaviours, language and motor skills and i have been very proud in seeing how far my child has progressed. I am kept very well informed of any issues that arise as soon as they happen, such as minor accidents and illness - always a phone call as soon as possible. The children are always put first, there is a focus on hygiene and security is paramount. I particularly enjoy the end of day notes and conversations during pickup that run through the important events of my child's day such as foods eaten and amounts, timed naps and wet/dry nappy count. Each classroom is designed well for their particular aged children. Nursery fees can be expensive but the Abbey do what they can to keep costs down.

So supportive of our needs for our daughter. The milestones she achieves whilst in nursery make us glad she goes here. They help her with cognitive and speech development and all the while update us daily and provide us with pics and statergies they use on the app. Overall best choice made and so pleased with the care and support given

My child has been happy since starting here. He's come on well in his speech and seems very happy with everyone there. Food is made fresh daily and has a variety of vegetables. He never comes home hungry as they have afternoon tea / snack around 3pm.

Both of my children have loved being at this nursery. My youngest is in Reception at the nursery and I cannot fault it. The staff are wonderful, especially two staff members in particular. They are wonderful with the children. My little boy loves them. The manager is also great, flexible and accommodating when I need to make changes to our usual hours. The nursery is clean, bright and full of smiling welcoming faces. The only slightly negative thing I will say is that neither of my children have ever been taken out of nursery for any trips, despite me having signed forms to approve of this. However, this is only a tiny niggle and overall I would give The Abbey 5 stars, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any other parents looking for somewhere to send their children.

My little boy has started at the abbey this month and we are so happy with the progress he has made already. The staff are amazing especially in the reception room. My little boy loves going to nursery now and loves going to see his teachers. Thank you so much to the abbey!

I can't recommend this nursery enough. The environment is lovely, the staff are brilliant at what they do and my daughter has come on leaps and bounds in the past 18 months she has been at the nursery. She is always happy to go in a morning and can't wait to see her friends and even the staff! I will be sad when her journey ends here.

My daughter has really loved being in the reception class. The staff keep up well informed and she has come on leaps and bounds socially. She is always playing nursery at home and from how she plays you can tell how happy and lived she feels.

My child loves her nursery days, she looks forward to seeing both staff and her little friends. Never have any issues. She is coming on leaps and bounds. I have every faith the Abbey Nursery will prepare her well for school in September.

I have two boys at the nursery. One in babies and one in toddlers. The girls at nursery have made them both so happy and they've settled straight away. Transitions were well thought out and helped the whole process. I get photos and regular updates throughout the day, particularly on days when the boys haven't been quite well on drop-off, the staff check-in and update me across the day. The nursery itself is clean, the toys are well looked after and the spaces are well thought out. My boys love going and miss it when they aren't in. I haven't had any reason for complaint so far, and long may that continue. The staff are fantastic and I would highly recommend the nursery to everyone.

Fantastic team, who cares and caters for each childs individual needs exceptionally well. Our baby boy is always happy going to nursery here, smiling when he arrives and realises where he is. The updates we receive throughout the day really help to put your mind at ease.

Fabulous nursery. My little girl has flourished since she started in the baby room. She now is able to tell me what she gets up to each day. Meals are very nutritious and my little girl eats everything at nursery. Fabulous outdoor space. Staff are very approachable and give brilliant feedback at the end of the day so I know exactly what she is up to.

Our daughter has been with the nursery since she was 6 months old, now she's 2 1/2 and has developed amazingly with the help and support of the Abbey and all their staff. We get regular updates on her progress in different key development stages, which is always lovely to see. Every staff member at The Abbey is lovely and goes above and beyond, always finding new ways to entertain and engage the children. The food always sounds amazing (and smells amazing on the occasions I collect at dinner time) and always a pleasure to know my little one always loves it. And even on the days she has been a bit more fussy she has been offered an alternative. I always feel at ease dropping my little one off each day, knowing she is in a safe and caring environment.

My daughter started in January in the baby room and absolutely loves going! The girls were amazing during settling-in sessions, making a very worried first-time mum feel at ease! They continue to provide excellent care and I honestly couldn’t ask for more from them. Each day they update me with activities she has enjoyed and her development has come on massively.

I can’t credit The Abbey enough for everything they have done for my children. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and committed to the well-being of all the children they care for. My children love their key staff and are so happy coming in. Following being at a different nursery and moving to the area my children have thrived in their various classes and I know that they are happy and well cared for. The staff go above and beyond, management are approachable and happy to help any way they can and I have felt understood and supported. It’s so important to find childcare you can trust and the staff at The Abbey are all superstars.
