Pennies is a fantastic setting and the team are wonderful! My youngest is in the baby room and the staff ensure he's happy and engaged during his days with them. They provide me with regular updates which makes me feel confident that he is enjoying his time there. My elder son attends their after
school regularly throughout the week. He adores the staff and the range of activities that they provide. I find all the staff at Pennies so friendly and approachable I really couldnt praise them enough. I feel very grateful to have such a great setting available to us :)

My son has been attending the after school provision at Penny's since September and I have to say that the staff have pulled out stops to accommodate him with his neurodiversity. At first, he was completely disengaged and's disregulated, finding the provision challenging, but over the past few
months, he has settled in beautifully and the staff have been brilliant. Thank you all

We feel so lucky to have found Pennies! Everyone is so friendly and staff really get to know the kids. My sons love their days there filled with fun activities, arts and crafts, and plenty of outdoor play!

Excellent nursery - great staff team and environment
We moved house in June 2025 and moved our daughter to this nursery, which has been a fantastic decision. We've since enrolled our 1-year-old too, and she is also really happy and settled. It's so reassuring knowing both our children enjoy their
time here and are well cared for.
The team are wonderful - from the manager and key worker to the practitioners and chef - all warm, friendly, and clearly dedicated to the children. Our daughters attend full time, five days a week, and go in happily each day.
There's a great mix of learning, play, and fun, with lots of activities that keep the children engaged. We've seen them grow in confidence and development since starting.
It's also lovely to see ongoing improvements, with the garden currently being redeveloped. We couldn't be happier and feel very confident our daughters are settled and happy here.

Both my sons go to Pennies - my eldest has been there a couple years and my baby has just started. All the staff at Pennies show such care for them. They really take the time to get to know the children, encourage their interests and help them develop and build confidence. There's always time for
outdoor play in any weather, which my little explorers love! And I love hearing about the different activities they've done each day. The team have really supported my eldest with his potty training this year, giving him plenty of encouragement! Thank you to everyone at Pennies for creating a wonderful environment for my little ones to spend their time.

Could not be happier with the care our little boy has received since joining Pennies! He loves going every day and since joining we've seen loads of progress in his development. All the staff are approachable and friendly with a particular shout out to his amazing key worker; Dani. Not only are
Pennies great care givers, but they are faultless with their updates and communication. Our son has been at a couple of nurseries due to a house move and then being unhappy with the previous nursery - Pennies is hands down the best we've experienced! Highly recommend!! :)

Pennies has been a lovely place for my grandchildren to be looked after for the past few years now. The care, enrichment, learning and engagement for the children is apparent in helping them to grow, form friendships and communicate for future skills building.
They enjoy the meal times and the food
is varied and healthy choices. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, making my little ones feel at home.

I was invited along to grandparents day by my daughter. The amount of activities laid on for the children to participate in was amazing. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. You could see that the children were very happy and content around them. I have picked my grandson up from Pennies
numerous times. You get so much information about the day he's had, what he's eaten etc. The whole nursery has a warm and welcoming aura. My grandson always looks forward to going and is very happy. The level of teaching is exceptional.

We love Pennies! The facilities are great, the food menu is healthy and varied, the updates are frequent and thorough, but the best thing by far are the staff. They are so friendly and really make the effort to bond with the children. From the very beginning my son loved going to nursery and gives
all the staff the biggest smiles in the morning when I drop him off. We feel like we hit the jackpot with Pennies!

My daughter has attended Pennies for nearly a year and loves it! The staff are all wonderful, so supportive of me as a parent and go above and beyond to make sure the children there are thriving. I feel they understand my child as an individual and she always has so much fun. She's excited to go

After my first daughter going to Pennies, there was no hesitation what so ever in having my second daughter at Pennies too.
All of the team at Pennies make you feel so welcome, it's like home from home for my daughters.
At the end of each day I get a summary of my daughters day, what's she's eaten
and they also focus on the same things you might be working on at home, such as potty training.
Highly recommended. Thank you

My two children have attended Pennies since they were babies. They're now both at school, so have moved onto Pennies Kids Club. They both thoroughly enjoy their days at PKC, the days are jam packed with activities and they also spend a lot of time outdoors. The trip days are good fun too, my kids
absolutely love their adventure of going out for the day with their PKC chums! The PKC staff are great fun, and kids from all age groups just and entertained all day. Great value for money too for a whole day's childcare and no packed lunches to make! Highly recommend.

We moved to the area earlier this year and honestly couldnt feel luckier that we found Pennies in Mark Cross! Our daughter loves it so much, she's always super happy when we pick her up, you can tell she's had the best day! She has a couple of food allergies and the team manage these so well, we
never worry about her being fed something she can't have and the kitchen team make sure she never misses out, she loves the food! The staff are all really friendly, caring and attentive, it's such a homely atmosphere, we really love Pennies!

Our daughters transition to starting nursery has been much smoother than we ever expected. Two members of staff in particular have been extremely attentive and our daughter adores them. The food has gone down very well and a second portion is almost guaranteed. Our daughter has learnt lots from the
members of staff already and really developed her confidence and independence.

We have been using Pennies for the last 5 years for their afterschool club and holiday clubs it's truly an amazing nursery! the team at pennies are always so kind and helpful and will always to their best to assist with support with extra sessions or adhoc cover I will continue recommend the team

My daughter goes there since she was very little, only months old(now she is 2.5). At that point she refused to go with anyone apart from me or my husband,but since the first minute we put our feet here she felt very much confortable and confident. She went with the staff without doubting, and we
could see straight away that it was the right place.The management there is another level of support, always willing to help and accommodate your needs. All the members of staff are amazing, supporting every step my daughter does in a very personal way, they are great! And the last, but not least! , the chef! Her food is really tasty. We manage to try her dishes in the open days and I can see why my daughter loves them! The space outside is absolutely gorgeous, cannot wait for the spring to come so she can be out for longer. I would 100% recommend this Nursery to anyone looking for a clean, well managed and a great place to take their little ones to.

My daughter started at pennies in January when she was 20 months old. I am over the moon with the nursery
Not once has my daughter cried when being dropped off and she is always happily playing when I pick her up. She asks to go to nursery every morning which is so lovely to know she loves it as it
puts my mind at ease while at work. I was worried how she would eat and sleep there but she does better than she does at home! Everyone is so welcoming and they all know my daughter very well already and I can tell she feels comfortable with them. They keep me updated via the app and at the end of each day and they get up to lots of fun stuff in the day. I love how much they are outside as my daughter loves that.

We have been so impressed with Pennies since our children joined in September 2023 and like other reviewers can not fault it in any way.
Our children are so excited to go in and are warmly welcomed each morning by the amazing staff. They are all so enthusiastic, happy, and friendly, and
have a smile on their faces from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm!
The nursery manager and deputy manager are so approachable and don't get the credit they deserve.
The Nursery is so nurturing, has amazing outdoor spaces, and there are exciting activities outside and in to try each day.
The menus are fun and healthy and our children usually have seconds of the fabulous home-cooked meals. The communication is second to none with daily updates and photos.
