My son has attended Kings Castle for the last 2.5 years, and I have been over the moon with how they have looked after him. The care, love and attention he has received has been above and beyond my expectations. My son has additional needs and this was identified right from the start. They have worked with us as a family to ensure that his needs are met so that he could flourish, learn and grow. The nursery put in special provisions and worked with external experts when needed (speech & languge and senco) to ensure his development was catered for appropriately. The management have always been supportive and have gone above and beyond to support us as a family, and the staff have always shown nothing but love and understanding. My son was given a one to one when he started pre school to help with his focus and social development. This has allowed him to learn, feel understood and make friends. It has been pivotal to his development. I couldn't recommend Kings Castle enough.

Such a fantastic environment for our son who had a speech delay. The nursery was amazing for him and he was enabled to settle so quickly. Loved the daily updates on the app. Special thanks to Katherine who was my sons special key worker who was faultless. Really sad to be leaving the nursery only wish we could have stayed another year"

We are so grateful to King's Castle for the kindness, patience, and encouragement they've shown our son, who has been attending for the past two years. It means the world to us as parents to see him so happy and cared for. The nursery has created a safe and loving environment where he has grown so much - he is truly a different child from when he first started. His confidence and development have come on leaps and bounds. We couldn't have asked for a better start to his journey and couldn't have chosen a better setting. Thank you for making his nursery years so full of love, care, and joy. We feel so lucky he's had such a warm, supportive foundation and can truly say he is ready for school!

Our daughter is just coming to the end of her time at King's Castle and we're so grateful for the brilliant care they have given her over the last 3 important years! There's an excellent management and teaching team who really take care of the children and have given our daughter a brilliant start to her education and social life. Highly recommend

My son has just finished his early years experience at Kings and honestly what an experience it has been. He has attended since a 10 months old and moved through every room and we could not have asked for a more caring, creative, trusting and nurturing environment for him be part of. He has always loved going and made some wonderful friends along the way, as have I. They have a wonderful facility for outdoor learning, which my son has loved where they can go on adventures while learning outdoors and with their friends. It really is a wonderful place to entrust with your child or children and giving them the best start they could hope for using the Montessori approach . My son is leaving happy and confident, ready and raring for 'Big School' even if his mummy isn't quite there yet. Thanks so much team, you are so appreciated.

We moved our daughter to Kings Castle in Jan 2024, just as she turned 3, after a poor experience elsewhere. The team listened to our concerns and reassured us this was the right place, and they were right. Now, 19 months on, we couldn't be happier and wish we'd moved her sooner. The staff are caring, professional, and clearly loved by our daughter. She's grown tremendously, both emotionally and developmentally, thanks to the nurturing environment. Kings Castle focuses on each child's strengths and encourages their unique interests. The Montessori work cycle is brilliant, giving children real life skills like hammering a real nail into wood, rather than just plastic imitations. We're so grateful to everyone at Kings Castle and will be sad to say goodbye.

Kings Castle have been absolutely amazing in regards to my son's care. The staff/teachers have been brilliant and we are so pleased we chose Kings Castle to provide his early years care. You get regular updates and photos on the app of your child's day and the staff really are committed to providing the best care there is. We could not fault them and will be sad to leave!

I have had both my children attend this nursery, one still there until he starts school in September, and I cannot say a bad word about it. They never really minded going in, always seemed to have a good time and it definitely brought them on in their learning.. phonics/reading etc! I will be forever grateful to them for taking good care of my boys!! I will actually feel quite emotional when my youngest boy finishes as it will be the end of an era! There are some staff who go above and beyond like the manager, the team(all just lovely) and I would like to make a special mention of the lady upstairs in the pre school room, she is so kind and really works hard on getting them ready to go to "big" school, trying to help them reach targets and milestones etc. I really get the feeling that she really cares and puts her heart and soul into her job, so I will be forever grateful! These people do such an important job, looking after our children, teaching them independence

King's Castle has been the perfect early years setting for both our children over the past six and a half years. The care, kindness & dedication of the staff have been exceptional even through the challenges of Covid. It's a place where children play & learn with purpose, and grow in confidence, curiosity, and joy. Special experiences like visits from the RNLI, fire brigade, and animal handlers make learning exciting and memorable. The option to attend the Lodge is a fantastic bonus, giving children the chance to explore the outdoors environment, our daughter loved it. Today is our son's last day, marking the end of our wonderful journey with King's. Both our children have thrived here & left fully ready for school and I'm forever grateful for everything the nursery has done. Everyone at King's should be so proud of the nurturing, inspiring environment they've created for young children. A special thank you to our son's key worker you've made all the difference to him. Thank you all!

We are coming to the end of my Son's two and a half years at Kings Castle and my daughter also attended before him. We have been so happy with the care and support they received during their time. My son has thrived and I can see a huge improvement in his confidence recently. He is always telling me about fun things he has done with the teachers and his friends, and he is so happy to go into the nursery and the lodge every day. I really like the updates on the app so I can see photos of things he has been doing and what he has eaten during lunch time. I think it's been great preparation for starting school in September.

I have had 2 children attend Kings castle from when they were 10/11 months old. I always felt they listened to what each child needed so we could be aligned with their care. I always had quick responses with any queries and build a lovely relationship with management and some of the key staff members. The lodge has been a wonderful enhancement which both children looked forward to. We enjoyed being able to attend some events days where we could spend some time in the settings. I particularly loved how the child knew to wash up their own plates from snack, loved seeing the Montessori principles come to life. I'm sad this chapter is ending as our youngest heads into their school years. Thank you Kings Castle, I would recommend to anyone.

We're so glad we picked Kings Castle to help us guide our son into the kind, confident and independent little boy he is today. He's been with Kings Castle for the last 3 years and they've been brilliant at all ages and stages. From the regular updates and photos we get from the app, to all the new awesome, sometimes quirky things they do with them week in week out, to how happy he is being dropped off each day, we 100% made the right choice with this nursery/pre-school. Speaking to friends and family who send their children to other nurseries and pre-schools, it's clear to see that Kings Castle do things differently and offer so much more. We're firm believers in 'let the results do the talking' and seeing what a lovely boy our son has become leaves us to say aBIG THANK YOU to everyone at Kings Castle!

My two children have gone through the nursery both from the baby room to the preschool. They have been nothing but brilliant - communication is great and I trust them. Which is a huge deal! They are very good at discussing our needs when they came up, not at all defensive if small queries or issues came up, but open to working with parents which is a huge plus too. I would put more kids through Kings if I had them! The Montessauri way of independent play, problem solving and fine motor skills, life skills have all supported their confidence. I love the lodge and so did the kids! Many of the kids start reading there and while as parents we haven't done much of that at home, it's been great to know they are set up for the next stops. Both of mine have been fully prepared for school and I am so grateful for that. I will miss the team there. Thank you all!

My three children have attended Kings & The Lodge, they have joined in the lovely baby room all the way until becoming school leavers. The nurture, support and learning provided has been outstanding. My children have grown in confidence and independence. They love attending nursery. The nursery have supported our family in challenging times and been an incredible support. I will be very sad when my youngest leaves Kings for school, but I am very thankful and lucky that they've started their journey with Kings. I simply cannot praise the staff enough.

We were searching for a place where our daughter would learn, grow, and feel cherished. Kings Castle has been that exceptional place for us over the years, and I can't praise it enough! From our first contact, the communication with all staff has been outstanding. Whether through emails, the app, phone calls, or meetings, their professionalism and warmth are evident. Each interaction reassures us that our daughter is in excellent hands. The management team are especially responsive, addressing our questions with clarity and a genuine desire to help. This open communication has made us feel like valued members of the Kings Castle community. Our daughter genuinely loves attending Kings Castle. Hearing her say, "I love going to nursery!" is heartwarming and reassuring for us. Each day is filled with discovery, and the Montessori method has boosted her confidence and independence. The attentive and encouraging teachers foster a love for learning that will benefit her throughout life.

My daughter started in the toddler room at 18 months she's now 22 months. The staff have been amazing at settling her in. They do so many enriching and fun activities. You feel they really enjoy working with the children. They give us weekly individual updates on my daughter's development and on group activities. Our daughter's language and independence has really improved. She loves going to nursery so much that she just runs in and doesn't even say goodbye to us!

A wonderful nursery - we're sad to leave! Our son, joined this nursery when he was just one year old, attending two days a week, and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly kind, compassionate, and nurturing - not just to the children but to the parents as well. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed and supported. The team genuinely cares for each child, providing a warm, loving environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive. They take the time to understand each child's needs, offering reassurance and guidance every step of the way. Seeing how happy and confident Nate became in their care has meant the world to us. Sadly, due to a house move, we have to say goodbye, but we will always be grateful for the love, patience, and dedication the team has shown. If you're looking for a nursery that truly prioritises the well-being and development of children, I couldn't recommend this one highly enough. Thank you for everything!

My son has recently left Kings Castle after two years, we were very sad to say goodbye! He had a wonderful time there and the staff always went above and beyond to ensure the best possible learning and experience. They were accommodating and flexible when we needed ad hoc sessions and created a very supportive environment while also being very adaptable to his individual needs and abilities. Kings Lodge (the associated forest school) is also amazing and my son absolutely loved his days there. They have prepared him extremely well for school where he is now thriving. We will always look back on his time at Kings Castle with great fondness and gratitude. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
