Our son has settled in really well. The team have been welcoming, professional and warm. Communication from the management team has been excellent and we have felt reassured throughout. Thank you for all your hard work

Transformed! We got to know the nursery 2 years ago when looking for our eldest. The new manager (who we quickly built a strong relationship with) explained her vision which sounded brilliant. We knew it might take time to become what we were looking for. The nursery is now completely transformed. Physically, the refurbishment has resulted in bright, clean, considerately equipped spaces. But the feel/culture of the nursery is what made us choose it for our youngest- it's so obvious that the staff love their jobs and are respected and cared for by the management team e.g. there's now a dedicated staff room - it might not sound like something a child needs, but as a mother who often needs 5 minutes it means staff get a proper break to recharge. This culture results in the most loving care for the babies. Our child adores her key worker and I'm fully confident leaving her in the care of all nursery staff. Everyone greets her with big smiles, warmth and nose wipes when needed! 100% happy

We are in the process of settling our son into the nursery and whilst he has been finding it difficult, we have been so impressed with the way the nursery has been handling it. Both our key worker and the nursery manager have been really supportive and offered us advice on how we can help ease his separation anxiety whilst at nursery and how we can tweak and extend the settling in sessions for him. We are really grateful for this!

The staff are lovely and very supportive and compassionate and been a great help supporting both my son and myself in his development. The environment is warm and welcoming and my son always has beautiful artwork he has done at nursery to bring home. He never wants to leave which I feel shows how much he loves it here.

We've absolutely loved our experience with The Old Station Nursery on Tressillian Road. Our little boy joined the baby room a year ago at 7 months old and has thrived ever since. The manager and her team are amazing. As a first-time mum, I found the two-week settling-in period so reassuring, and he adjusted beautifully. The team is incredibly nurturing, and I always feel confident knowing he's happy, learning, and playing with children his age. They also share daily updates, which we really appreciate-it's great to stay informed about his day. The nursery was recently refurbished and looks fresh and welcoming. The only aspect we personally weren't happy with was the occasional inclusion of sugary or processed items on the menu. But, the team have been extremely understanding and flexible, adapting meals to suit our child's dietary preferences. Overall, we'd highly recommend this nursery!

Our daughter has been at OSN - Tresselian Road for well over a year now, across three rooms and she has loved almost every minute of it! The staff are so kind, friendly and welcoming, and I am always so excited to hear what they have been up to - the activities are varied and imaginative, including regular cooking, yoga and musical classes. They use the garden every day, and make regular visits to the local park - how they manage to push three toddlers up those hills is beyond me! My daughter has learnt so much, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery - thank you so much to the manager and the team!

Brilliant nursery. Friendly and warm. My son always comes back having had a brilliant day filled with lots of fun activities. He loves the staff and has lots of friends and is really happy there, coming home each evening telling us lots of stories from the day. He particularly likes the extra activities such as cooking, yoga and Spanish.

A great nursery with invested and fun staff, along with a varied programme for the children. Activities range from yoga to Spanish lessons, dance classes, trips to in local area (library, supermarket etc), walks in the park, baking and so on. Communicative staff and opportunities for feedback.

The welcoming smiles at the front door, wash over you and radiate calm and positivity as you arrive each day. I leave with confidence knowing that my child will be well attended to and enjoy their day. If I need to reach out at any point by email or telephone the nursery manager is super responsive and helpful at all times. Passionate and caring, the nursery is a real home away from home, where all the staff know all the children and the parents. Weekly newsletter updates keep us up to date. We look forward to watching our child develop at the nursery.

We've had a very positive experience with The Old Station Tressillian Road. Our son has been there since he was 11 months old and has been encouraged by the staff in the baby rooms and now the Toddler room as he develops and learns new skills with their support. The staff are attentive and supportive, and I feel confident leaving my son in their care. The nursery communicates clearly how the daily activities the children take part in aid their development and learning.

The nursery environment is really bright and spacious and the children spend a lot of time in the garden. My son goes running in on a morning to get a cuddle from his keyworker and they do a variety of activities with them each day. It took him a while to settle but I think he now prefers his nursery days to the days he spends with me, we're both really happy with the nursery

This is a lovely nursery with fantastic and happy staff. One of our sons is in the pre-school having been there for almost 3 years now, and the other started in the babies room 6 months ago. We've been very happy with the nursery since the start, but especially in the last year or so under the manager's management and since the refurb. It feels like the ideal environment for our children to come and learn and play. There's a really wide and interesting range of activities each week - music, dancing, yoga, baking, languages and the pre-schoolers go on regular trips to the local park, library and community. Most importantly, we can feel how much the team care about the children - there's a big warm smile when we arrive, the door is always open for a chat, and the boys' key workers are constantly coming up with new ways to engage them and support their development.

Both our children are very happy at Tressillian Road. The team has worked tirelessly to refurbish the gorgeous Victorian building. They provide regular updates with photos of the activities they have been up to. You can tell the staff really likes spending time with the kids, three staff members in particular are stand out when interacting with our children. I'm particularly impressed by the enrichment activities like Spanish and baking. Our daughter likes to bake semi-independently at home because of it.

Our son started at the nursery two months ago, just before his first birthday, and we couldn't have chosen a better place for him. The settling in period was a little tough on him, but his key worker and management couldn't have been more supportive and the change we saw within just a few weeks was incredible. He loves his days at the nursery - from messy play to trips to the park, music and more - he's really happy! He's learnt so much already, including social and motor skills, and has become so confident. The staff are all incredibly warm and caring. The baby room was recently refurbished as well, it's such a great and homely environment. We would highly recommend Old Station Nursery.

We love Old Station on Tressillian Road, everyone is so friendly and welcoming and it is really reassuring to leave our little one with the same people every day. The newly renovated rooms are great. Our little one's key worker was so kind and he loved her right away. After only a month or so he is now running into nursery smiling - he loves all the activities and the staff.

My son has developed his language and social skills significantly in pre-school. The renovated environment is ideal for learning and play. He is excited to show me the activities set up each morning. He's made great connections and is having fun which is lovely to see.

The Old Station Nursery provides a welcoming and homely atmosphere in which both our boys have grown into happy, confident and outgoing children. The nursery is well run, clean and safe. Staff form a strong connection with children and plan interactive and engaging activities.
