My little boy has been attending the nursery since September and I could not be happier with how they look after him. He absolutely loves his three days there and is always so happy when we drop him off and pick him up. His key worker Laura is so lovely and kind and all the other staff are warm,
caring and friendly. They keep you updated well throughout the day with pictures and information on the app and I know I can always call if I want to check in. Any questions or queries are dealt with promptly and everyone is approachable. He does lots of fun activities throughout the day and there is plenty of opportunity for development and learning through play and more structured activities. He loves the food and eats better there than he does at home! I'm so glad I chose to send him there and if you want a place where you feel comfortable leaving your pride and joy knowing they will take good care of them - this is the place.

Our daughter loves going to preschool and she speaks so fondly of all the staff members. The team are always engaging and you can tell they really care about the children thriving and growing in confidence. Thank you so much!

Our daughter absolutely loves attending this nursery and looks forward to going every day. The environment is warm, welcoming and very nurturing, which has made such a positive difference to her confidence and development.
She has built a particularly special bond with one member of the Preschool 2
team, who has been incredibly caring, supportive and attentive. It is clear how much genuine care and patience the staff show to the children, and that relationship has really helped our daughter feel comfortable and happy at nursery.
The whole Preschool 2 team are wonderful always friendly, kind and professional. As parents, it is very reassuring to know our daughter is surrounded by people who truly enjoy what they do and who encourage the children to learn, grow and feel valued.
We are very grateful to the entire team for the care, dedication and positive environment they provide. Our daughter genuinely loves going to nursery, which says everything about the fantastic work they do.

I have had 2 children attend the nursery, my current child is nearing the end of her time as she gets ready for school. The staff are wonderful. My daughter has amazing bonds with multiple members of staff. Staff are genuinely caring, and work hard to provide excellent care and support to the
children. My little one feels safe and happy at nursery. Staff go above and beyond to provide amazing activities for the children to help their development. Outdoor time is frequent and forest school activities are a big hit. The food is wonderful, tasty and nutritious and my daughter always comes home having eaten well. Overall we are incredibly happy with the nursery and the care they have provided both my children has been exceptional. My daughter genuinely looks forward to going to nursery and has made some incredibly close friendships.

I cannot praise this nursery enough - it truly stands out among all the ones I've seen. From the very beginning, the staff showed incredible insight and care. They quickly noticed the challenges my son was facing and, after consulting with me about his behaviours and needs, they created and
implemented a support plan tailored specifically to help him grow.
In just a few months, the progress has been amazing. My son has developed in so many areas - emotionally, socially, and cognitively. He has built strong, trusting relationships with the staff and formed beautiful friendships with other children, something he initially struggled with.
The love, understanding, and professionalism we've experienced here are beyond anything we could have hoped for. We truly couldn't have found a better place for our child. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The nursery is amazing and the staff are very welcoming to talk too and nothing is ever too much of a trouble. They are all so friendly and helpful and the rooms are very inviting and set up ready for welcoming the children

My son attends nursery 3 times a week, he thoroughly enjoys coming to nursery, he has a great bond with his key worker and the team within the room. I have great parent partnership with the team too. My son learns lots of new things which has shown massively in his development.

My child has been attending nursery since she was 5 months old and absolutely loves going to nursery and she has a lovely bond with the staff and has made some beautiful friendships, she always has such a good time and the staff send some lovely updates on what she's been doing through the day.

Since joining in October 2024 I can honestly say our experience here has been outstanding. The staff are second to none, kind, patient, and devoted. It is the staff that make the nursery so special. My child is happy and thriving she loves her time at nursery and I know the care she is receiving is
consistent and of the highest standard. Activities are engaging and are age appropriate. I am so happy my child attends here.

My child has attended other settings up to the age of 3. She was very unhappy and didn't thrive in nursery environment. Since attending Hermitage she is reaching full potential and hitting all her milestones. The staff in preschool are fantastic and give quality care for my child. The offers and
experiences are amazing and I love seeing daily observations of what she has been up to. The management is outstanding and always helpful with any queries. The only thing I would say needs improvement is more outdoor resources. I am very happy that my child now loves nursery and is no longer a battle in the mornings to get her to attend.

I have had 2 children at the nursery, and both absolutely love it. They both go in every day excited to get to their rooms and see the staff and other children. The bond both my children had with all the staff has been amazing. All the staff knows each child, not just by name, but by who they are
and their characters. My daughter has just finished at the nursery, and they have done a fantastic job making sure she is as school-ready as she could be. On top of the amazing staff, the facilities, food/menu, communication, and activities are also fantastic. Also, I really love the daily photos of my children so I can talk to them about what they did during the day. Outside of this, the Special Educational Needs Coordinator support has been fantastic, at not only supporting my children and helping them develop but also supporting, guiding and educating us as a family. Thank you for everything you do.

A caring and welcoming nursery. The staff are amazing, always helpful and make it a priority to know each child. Good variety of food and snacks. Love that we get a daily photo of an activity when our child is at nursery. Really excited that Forest School will be a part of preschool this month.

My son is so excited when he goes to the Nursery. I can see him always happy and enjoying time spent with his colleagues. The most important is to see your little one safe and smiling and not be scared of leaving him with others. This is a wonderful place with passion and with people who care about

Excellent nursery. Our son loves it here and is always happy. They do so many interesting activities with the children, and all the staff seem to have genuine care and concern for each individual child. We had quite negative experiences at another local nursery and moved our son here, so it was such
a breath of fresh air for him to be absolutely thriving here.
The only downside is that the nursery has very little outside space and no green space. It would be nice if they had a large outdoor space for some mini-forest school activity. They do take the children outside into the playground area every day through rain or shine which is great.

I am very pleased with how they have cared for my child, who has settled in well and really enjoys attending the nursery. I would recommend the nursery to others because when I have raised an issue they have done well to resolve it and have also offered support in sharing ways to improve learning.
They also do offers for extra sessions and run events throughout the months.

I can't speak highly enough of Hermitage Day Nursery. A fantastic nursery with second-to-none staff, they truly are a credit and I can't thank them all enough. Our little girl has come on leaps and bounds since joining. Nothing is ever too much hassle and I honestly feel our little girl is in the
best hands possible, whilst me and her dad are working. Morning and evening handovers are always detailed and me and her dad love getting updates during the day via the app of what she's been up to. The facilities are amazing and cater for such a huge type of needs and development stages. I'm so grateful for our space there and would recommend the nursery to any parent.

Great nursery, and really puts the child in the forefront. The baby room staff are amazing; right from the start they did everything to make sure my little one felt comfortable and loved. My daughter always leaves with a smile on her face at the end of the day. Highly recommend.
