Highfield Nursery has looked after my child with the utmost care and kindness. They have supported with dietary needs, they have helped build her confidence in her friendships and interactions with adults. She started as a baby who did not like to be around many people (Covid baby) and has become a confident little girl who will talk to anyone about her thoughts and feelings. All the staff are exceptional and the manager truly cares about each child's experience at the nursery.

Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Daily feedback and snapshots of my sweet boy appreciated. It's only been a month, so I am looking forward to connecting and interacting more with everyone. Thank you for your work and valuable support.

My child is currently at the nursery in the youngest class, they allowed me to trial nursery for 2 months to ease him into the environment before he joined. The staff in the room are all very friendly and caring, which is followed up by a very responsive management service in the background. My child has settled into nursery very well and enjoys his time there.

Our daughter has been attending Highfield for the past two years (Bumblebees and Pre-School) and we are sad to see her leaving in September. She adores the staff and she has come on in leaps and bounds in terms of confidence and development during her time here. She loves the large outdoor space and they provide a safe and approachable environment for both parents and children. You can tell they really care for each individual child's needs and interests. We are given regular updates via their parental app and Newsletters so we can keep up-to-date with what she has been getting up to. They are quick to bring up and work on any concerns that arise, which gives a lot of peace of mind for anxious parents. We travel from a distance to have her attend and it's so worth it for the quality of care she has received. Thank you so much Childbase & Highfield!

We have had two children at Highfield, and our youngest will be leaving soon and starting school. They have both thrived there and the staff and managers have gone above and beyond to look after them. They have particularly enjoyed their time spent in the garden, the role play areas, and extra sessions like 'Mini Athletics', and have been well prepared for starting school. What particular stands out about Highfield has been the exceptional care they have given to our youngest when she was diagnosed with diabetes. The whole team were enthusiastic and quick to learn how to support her: the management, her room team and the chefs have all completed training so that they can support her at nursery, and the team has shown flexibility and care in looking after her, both medically and emotionally. We are very grateful to them and will miss everyone when she leaves to start school!

My son started Highfield nursery in May 2025 . Staff are excellent and are very helpful. All staff genuinely have an interest in the kids and their likes and dislikes. Brilliant garden and rooms for the children to play in.

The nursery has been amazing. My daughter started at Highfield in August of 2024. As a first time mum I was very reluctant and nervous to leave my baby in the care of anyone besides myself! The staff were incredibly attentive and reassuring and my daughter has thrived massively during her 8 months at the nursery. The relationships She's built with the staff in the baby room have been amazing and I can't thank them enough!

Fantastic nursery. The manager and all the staff are always helpful and caring. Our son was previously at this nursery before he went to school and now our daughter goes there. We have always been impressed with the team and would wholeheartedly recommend Highfield Day Nursery.

Our child always has a smile when he goes to Nursery and we're pleased by the range of activities, both indoor and outdoor, that he does. The team are always forthcoming with how our child is progressing. We would recommend the nursery.

Extremely pleased with how my little one has progressed over the years. She's always telling us stories about staff members so clearly she's having a great time and been very well looked after as well as learning. Most people we meet can't believe she's only 3 years old, and I'd put a lot of that credit towards members of staff who have looked after her in her time at Highfield.

My grandson attended at the age of 4, he had limited speech and had not attended any settings with other children. During the year, his confidence increased, his speech and communication developed and was potty trained by the time he left. The nursery provided a safe, warm, fun environment. All the staff were so friendly and professional and it felt like one big family. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I visited Highfield after a friend recommended it to me, as we had tried to settle my son when he was just turning 2, into another nursery and it hadn't gone well. Highfield had a warm welcoming feel and were very understanding about our previous experiences and our nerves with settling. They were very flexible with allowing me to stay with him until he was more settled and my son seemed very relaxed and took to the staff straight away. We are now transitioning from half to full days and again all staff are supportive and caring and nurturing. Staff give detailed feedback and don't mind me calling to check up on him during settling periods. My son is very active and staff appear to accept and work with his needs and he is always happy to be there. I am so grateful to all the staff that provide such excellent care .

After 9 moths at the Ladybirds room, my daughter's development has been amazing and she has been well cared for. They made sure that she was safe in terms of her allergies. Her key worker was reassuring and she had a bespoke plan that reinforced the strengths and developed the weaknesses of my daughter. Every after 2 months since transitioning to another room, my daughter looks for her and always has a big smile on her face when she sees her old key worker. The management were responsive to my queries and ensured my daughter was safe.

My grandson has been here since he was small. The nursery is clean and inviting and the staff are caring, friendly and have great communication. He has thrived since being here and enjoys coming to the nursery. They have excellent equipment to play with and the outside area is spacious. Overall experience is 10/10 and beyond. Well done Highfield Day Nursery.

Our older child will be entering reception after a great four years and a bit at Highfield. The staff are consistently interested and responsive to the children and there is a strong sense of community at the place which we have felt is a good place for our children to be at when we're at work. There are many activities to occupy their time and they're encouraged in their interests which have been taken note of. Staff are always friendly and keep the children in mind.

Our youngest has just graduated from preschool. Highfield has been a fantastic experience for both our girls and our family. The care, love, learning and experience have been exceptional. our girls have thrived and flourished at Highfield and both had the best start to their education. Thank you!

Highfield Day Nursery has been a pillar of support for our family over the last 7 years; successfully nurturing and teaching 5 of our children. Throughout the years, we have been able to form close and purposeful relationships with different members of staff, both old and new! Sadly, our youngest child will be leaving in August 2024 and we will truly miss a safe and well-led environment. Thank you Highfield for all you have done and will continue to do - we are grateful! We might accidentally turn up in the nursery car park, only for us to realise we should be somewhere else!
