View Full Details of Blossoms Day NurseryMy son came here from the age of 11 months. The settling process was remarkably smooth, and although he wasn't best pleased at first, he quickly settled in within days. I had the constant reassurance of the staff in the room. As his time went on throughout Blossoms, I felt the service was constantly improving. If I ever had any concerns, they were always addressed promptly. Blossoms holds a yearly festive event, which is fantastic! Parents can come in and enjoy the time with the children, get to know the staff and see all the rooms that the children are in. Blossoms offers great communication skills and always ensures that you feel heard as a parent. Blossoms have always been so welcoming to us, and we will absolutely send our second child to this nursery. In fact, it is the ONLY nursery I would consider. It is a great comfort to send your child somewhere you know they will truly be cared for and have their needs met! A true home from home environment!
Blossoms has been wonderful for our child, and for us. It's daunting handing your little one over, but from the moment we first visited we knew it was 'the one'. We visited plenty of local alternatives, but nowhere else seemed so warm and welcoming, or so intentional with the way they help the kids to develop. They don't just supervise, they gently structure the day with defined activities that they all get involved with, something we believe has helped greatly in preparing them for school. Staff clearly know what they're doing, care deeply, and enjoy their work, going the extra mile with special occasions, holidays, festivals etc, enriching the whole experience. Every member of staff, even those that didn't work directly with our kid got to know them by name and character, and would ask how they were whenever poorly. Four years later and we're about to leave, and are still absolutely confident it was the right choice all along.
It is a money-making scheme first and nursery second. The nursery does not allow you to take a photo of your child graduating - they say they provide 'free' photos taken by their team but this is one individual photo with the manager of the nursery in the photo! They expect you to pay £60/£70 for professional photos. When I asked a staff member in the senior team if I'm permitted to take a single photo of my son in his graduation outfit privately, she was very brash and rude. This tone and culture has been present through my previous child's experience too - but I chose to send them to the same nursery for convenience. Please look at neighbouring nurseries before considering this one. It appears very bubbly but once your child is in, you are not invited into the nursery often, if ever. And it's very surface-level responses on your child's development.
Blossoms Day Nursery is, by far, the best nursery. All the staff are exceptional, warm and welcoming. You can see just how much they care for the children in the way they engage with them and make them feel comfortable. The quality of care is outstanding and I have not witnessed this in any other nursery. The staff always made us and our son feel so comfortable from day one and did an incredible job helping him settle into nursery, even after a poor experience at another setting. Communication has always been very good. I would recommend Blossoms to any parent.
We couldn't be happier with our experience at Blossoms! It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes us feel comfortable leaving our little ones in their care. The staff are truly exceptional, patient, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's growth. Our children have blossomed socially and academically, making new friends and picking up new skills every day. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, and the outdoor play area is a wonderful bonus, giving the kids plenty of room to explore and get fresh air. We also love the variety of activities offered. The daily updates and photos they send give us peace of mind and let us share in the little moments we'd otherwise miss. We feel truly lucky to have found Blossoms and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for their child!
Our eldest 2 children have graduated from Blossoms and our journey started way back in 2017! Here we are again with our 3rd child currently attending Blossoms, aged 3.5. We have enjoyed sending our children to Blossoms as much as they have loved being there. Every day is a fun journey through play-orientated learning with lots of daily activities set up for the children. Hearty meals are served at lunch and made fresh on-site in the kitchen. Overall I would recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a place for their little ones - you can be assured they will be loved and cared for as part of a big family.
Blossoms have been very welcoming with both my children. My eldest has quite literally 'blossomed' and looks forward to going in every day. Activities are varied and suitably challenging. The food is cooked on site and my eldest always asks for seconds! The adventure garden is lovely. Communication at home is good and I know that if there were a problem, the staff would always work with me to find a solution. I have no hesitation in recommending Blossoms to other parents.
We have sent both of our children to Blossoms Day Nursery, spanning seven years. We could not have been more delighted with the nursery. They are an extremely vibrant, multicultural nursery with lots of lovely outdoor space which they use regularly. Food is excellent (according to the children!) and they always have a wide array of innovative and interesting activities for the children. Both of our children have been extremely well prepared to start school through attending Blossoms. Staff have been there for many years which makes us confident that the managerial team treat their colleagues well.
Such a wonderful nursery. Lots of outdoor play, regular and daily. Updates on what activities my child will take part in. I have watched my daughter bloom. Her personality is really coming out. Staff from nursery offices, finance and management are very friendly and there are no barriers. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our daughter loves and enjoys everything prepared by the cook.
Blossoms is truly a place where they make your child feel loved and give them the attention they deserve. The level of daily updates and how the teachers take time to tell you how your child is getting on, really goes a long way. Thank you to the team for doing such an amazing job.
My son was happy, supported and part of the “family” from the very beginning. He was there for three years and made some great memories. The staff felt like an extension of our family too. Being a larger nursery, they were much more flexible than the other settings near us. I’ve found them to be generous with their time and food - always taking time to speak with us or update us on the day and feeding my hungry son extra portions.
A lovely nursery with the most lovely staff. Fresh food cooked on-site, variety and all diets accommodated for. Safe and secure setting, lovely play areas, beautiful buildings. Clean and so well kept. Loving and friendly staff who quickly become family! Management is approachable and trains staff very well. All the teachers are so loving and caring. Children learn and thrive, they are motivated and inspired. They learn good manners and are social butterflies because the staff encourage them.
We have had both our boys attending the nursery for a few years, with our eldest attending for the longest period. We have nothing but great feelings towards all of the staff and owners of the nursery; they have been patient and supportive with our eldest son and his needs with speech therapy, monitored his development brilliantly and have always kept us abreast of any changes at the nursery which may affect our children. We left the nursery in 2020 as we went to live abroad for 6-months, but returned to the nursery recently and have nothing but admiration for the welcome back. The nursery has also had a thoroughly professional approach to Covid, which gives us a lot of confidence. Our daughter will now be attending from September with her brother, and our eldest is off to school soon but will always remember his time at Blossoms. Thank you to everyone at the nursery - we wholeheartedly recommend this nursery. Warm regards.
My son has attended Blossoms nursery from the age of about 13 months. Having reviewed local nurseries as well as further afield, Blossoms was placed at one of my top three. The staff were friendly, of varying ages, the nursery itself was spacious both indoors and outdoors and what I wanted more than anything was a homely feel but enough space for my child to become independent. I felt that Blossoms really fulfilled those criteria along with many others I had! Therefore despite a commute of about 20-30mins, I felt that my son would definitely blossom here. He settled in the first couple of days nicely and the staff have sent regular updates on progress, use of Early Years Foundation Stage which I was keen to follow. He was animated in his discussions about his day at Blossoms and overall I knew I had made the right decision, as ultimately that is seen through my son and how he looks forward to attending! The staff make Blossoms what it is! Keep up the good work! Children are the future! Brilliant nursery!
We have been part of Blossoms Day Nursery family for five years and our journey is coming to a close with our youngest starting school this September. As a teacher myself, I was very picky when selecting a nursery for our girls, we instantly fell in love with Blossoms Day Nursery. Our eldest was welcomed beautifully and flourished under their care. She enjoyed every second, from the moment she set foot through the door for the first time. Our youngest was very shy and nervous when starting nursery for the first time, they welcomed her very gently, supporting her emotional needs and helping her to grow in confidence. Both girls blossomed at Blossoms Day Nursery. All of the staff have been absolutely incredible and we truly felt part of the family. We will be so sad to say goodbye but we are so happy that the girls got these years under their care. To anyone considering this nursery, I cannot recommend it enough as a teacher myself.
My son was at Blossoms for 4 years. He’s doing really well at school now and I credit Blossoms for their part in this. Even when we moved 10 miles away I kept him there as I was so confident in the staff. It’s a great nursery. The staff for the most part have been there for years, always a good sign in any business. I always felt it a safe environment to leave my son and I was sad to say goodbye on his last day. Also, they have a real cook and prepare meals onsite. This is unusual these days. Your child coming home with garlic breath will always amuse you.
Absolutely brilliant experience with Blossoms Day Nursery from start to finish. We have used another local nursery, but hands down, all aspects of Blossoms have blown away the competition. Incredibly caring, enthusiastic, professional staff who spend time with parents to provide feedback, and it never feels like a chore. Having had to move my child to Blossoms after over three years at his previous nursery, all testament to the nursery staff. Excellent value for money too. We wish we had made the move sooner! Would highly recommend to anybody. Thank you so much to the manager and the team.
As soon as I entered Blossoms for a tour, I knew it was where I wanted my little one to go. It is a family run business, and it provides a lovely, comfortable and caring environment. They nurture and care for the children excellently. The menu at the nursery is excellent and provides a lot of variety. They have always been attentive to my child needs and were willing to talk through challenges. We will miss Blossoms!
Where to begin? We have had the pleasure of leaving both our children in the care of Blossoms Day Nursery and are unable to express our gratitude in mere words. The care, love, devotion and affection displayed are exemplary. Our children had the most wonderful beginning to school life and it was simply sending them from home to home. The staff are all of wonderful nature and character. Our children would always recollect their day with joy and affection and would lovingly describe what their carers had said. We would not hesitate in recommending Blossoms to other parents as we have had the most wonderful experience.
Blossoms has been a second home for us, not because my child attended every day - which he did not, but because of the environment within the nursery. The building, the ethos, organisation culture and the expert staff all make Blossoms very special. The staff are all friendly and welcoming in a pleasant and professional manner. Blossoms maintains high standards of cleaning and insuring all practices within are carried out in a hygienic manner, and this is before the virus outbreak. The outdoor space is remarkable. All toys are in excellent condition, clean and safe. Everything is neat, tidy and highly organised which is a treat if you have OCD tendency. I would use Blossoms again and highly recommend it to others.
