View Full Details of Sticky Fingers Montessori Day NurserySticky Fingers is a wonderful environment as a nursery. The team really cares about the kids and their development. We moved our daughter to Sticky when She was 2yo. She really struggled to settle (she does not like changes at all!) The staff was so patient and truly amazing with her. She's been there for almost 2 years now and she loves going there and has truly grown her confidence. The outside could be better but honestly there is everything kids need at their age. We love the extra curriculum activities like ballet, sports and crafts with the local elderly, or going to the local library. We would move our daughter again with no hésitation!
Sticky's is a wonderful nursery. My first son spent 2 years there and loved it, and my second son is a year in. The staff are exceptional, and look after the children so well. There is a really nice family feel about the nursery, and they often get external providers in to run sessions such as sport, ballet, and animal handling workshops. Definitely recommend!
Our daughter has been at Stickies for over two years and we couldn't recommend it more. We have experience of two other local nurseries and think Stickies is head and shoulders above them. Why do we like it - management and leadership are excellent and create a brilliant culture. We can tell it is run with thought, care and experience putting the children first. Staff are calm, warm, experienced and it feels like a lot of time is taken to find the right candidates - turnover also feels proportionately low compared to other settings and we value the consistency. We like how much time the children spend outside, both in free play and activities and there is also a lot of extra curricular activities that keep the children stimulated and busy. The Montessori style means the children are supported to learn and development but at their own pace and in their own way. The nursery feels like an extended family rather than another business and we are happy really happy we found them.
Our daughter has attended Sticky Fingers for a year. She is so happy and settled and has come on leaps and bounds since joining. She enjoys a range of activities and is always happy at the end of a nursery day, full of chatter about what she's been up to. The staff are warm and caring and the nursery really invests in its people. We love the community at the nursery and enjoy watching our daughter flourish there.
Sticky Fingers is situated in a church hall close to Earlsfield Station. The inside area is open plan, so kids have a large space to roam in, rather than being confined to just one room. Since my son started attending the nursery, his language skills and independence have improved tremendously. He could not sing the words to songs before he started but he shocked us after one week in nursery by singing nursery rhymes (albeit garbled). The nursery manager is very hands-on and has called me personally on a number of occasions to provide updates. My son is happy there and the teachers provide a firm but caring environment for him. There are just two small negatives. First, the nursery does not have an app or any consistent means to provide updates. You may or may not be told at pick-up about your child's food, sleep, activities etc. Second, the outdoor area is fairly small and has no grass. All this is reflected in the price - the nursery is more affordable than others.
