View Full Details of Robins Nest Day NurseryGreat nursery for my son. He really enjoyed his time here, and he left ready for school, happy and confident. Staff were great and caring, timings flexible and very attentive overall. Overall, a great start for him.
I have a 4-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy attending Robins Nest. When we start our journey to nursery in the mornings, the children are excited; my 4-year-old will talk about her friends, teachers, activities. I am confident dropping my children off in to Robins Nest's care. My children have very good social and communication skills and are achieving goals. They reach for books and enjoy learning. They eat nutritious meals, usually asking for seconds as they like the food very much. Facilities are bright, welcoming, safe; proud displays of work and achievements change depending on topics, seasons, festivals. Information and updates are thorough, informative, honest. All staff interact with my children regardless of whether that member of staff works with my child, and all staff interact with us Grownups. Events (sports day, nativity, graduation) are conducted with warmth, genuineness, a clear sense of family togetherness. My eldest is 'graduating' and is sad to leave Robins Nest.
Robins Nest is a lovely nursery and both my children love going and cannot wait to get in the door! All the staff are wonderful and go above and beyond for the children. The same team of staff have been there from the beginning which is really nice for the children as they have such a close bond with them all. My son is going through an autism diagnosis and Robins Nest have been brilliant, they have helped and supported us from the beginning and we could not have done it without them. Lovely home-cooked food every day, my children always have seconds! And never come home hungry. They have a nativity and sports day every year which is lovely for the children and family to come and watch. I cannot praise them enough.
Both my children have attended this nursery and we've all loved it. The staff there genuinely care about the children, and teach them life skills as well as having a lot of fun in the garden or painting or singing. I've had to search online a lot of nursery rhymes and my daughter comes out with a stack of 'art' every day. Very sad to be leaving but I feel lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery that has set both my children up so well for school. Thank you!
My highly sensitive daughter settled in so quickly. The staff were amazing at listening to needs and offering advice on how best to settle. My daughter loves going and we are so impressed at the range of activities on offer. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else.
We feel very lucky to be able to send our toddler to Robins Nest. The staff make time to follow his interests, they know him very well and it’s clear that they genuinely care about him. They have always listened to us, as parents, and have followed any sleep/feed routine that we have requested. Staff are always friendly, approachable and professional. I was particularly impressed at Sports Day last term when I saw lots of lovely interactions between staff and children; the children’s enthusiasm and engagement in Sports Day was, in my opinion, a reflection of the trust and warmth which staff have fostered. Communication is brilliant; we always receive thorough feedback about our son’s day and they are always quick to respond to emails and are accessible on the phone, too. Although the garden is small, it is well looked after with great equipment that our son loves. Meals and snacks are varied and nutritious; our son always eats very well at nursery! Thank you ever so much!
Both of our children have attended Robins Nest and as such we have known the nursery for around 5 years. We have been so happy with the provision for them, as have they. Both children have thrived with the familiarity of the staff, the access to the outside space, the variety of the activities and the care in their development. They have made good friends and Robins Nest will be a treasured part of their childhoods. As parents, we have found the team flexible and accommodating, which is hugely important as working parents. All in all, we couldn’t recommend it more highly!
Great staff super friendly with the children. I would recommend Robins Nest to parents it is a good place to allow kids to learn, grow and develop. The whole staff has a great approach with children and is very knowledgeable.
We love Robin's Nest Day Nursery, all the staff are super lovely and caring. Our daughter loves it there so much and often doesn't want to leave at the end of the day. She has become so much more confident and happy since started there and has a really good routine developed.
Really personalised attention to my son. His transition from a previous nursery has been really smooth and welcoming. They give us lots of details about how his day has gone and what progress he has made with his communication skills. I love the fact that they give us his artwork too - they even helped him make a birthday card for my partner!
Our youngest has had the best experience at Robins Nest Day Nursery. She has grown in confidence and loves going in every day. We are very sad to leave them as we head to big school. Our selection was made for two reasons: 1) we needed a nurturing setting and professionals that would be open to new ideas to bring the best out of our daughter, and 2) they serve the most amazing, tasty and healthy range of food - we are delighted with how well her eating has progressed. Thank you Robins Nest!
Our daughter has loved her time at Robins Nest! The whole team have been wonderful throughout her time there. Their care and attention has been perfect throughout her time there and she has made some wonderful bonds with staff and other children. We will all be very sad when she leaves for school next month.
My second child to have attended Robins Nest Day Nursery from the age of 10 months is just about to leave ahead of starting school in September, and I can’t believe that it’s been nearly 7 years all in that Robins Nest have been part of our lives. Having attended full time my daughter has had the full experience, and adores all of her activities and grown-ups, not forgetting the wonder chef. Not only do Robins Nest look after your child - they will also look after and organise you. The staff will even say hello and stop in town to talk to your children (even the older ones who have left). A true home from home and the best nursery I could ever have chosen for my children. I have absolutely no regrets.
The care and attention for the children at Robins Nest Day Nursery is impeccable. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and loving towards the children. My daughter has grown so much in confidence and ability under their care, has learnt so much and is ready for school thanks to their attention, preparation and thoughtfulness. Although the outside space is fairly small they have so many great games and activities and equipment it doesn’t matter. So pleased my son will continue here for a few more years. Would highly recommend as a nursery.
Our daughter started at Robins Nest Day Nursery in Haywards Heath in September 2021. I can honestly say this nursery has been really great. Our daughter settled in well after having been a lockdown baby. The staff are wonderful. Always attentive and caring at all times. The children are happy and feel secure. Some of the nursery staff have been there for years so it is very well established. The nursery setting is very structured and the activities are well thought out. The atmosphere is happy and warming. Being a smaller nursery, it has felt like a close knit family and our daughter will be very sad to leave when it is time for big school. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.
Both our girls have attended Robins Nest Day Nursery and we have found it great. We would recommend this nursery to anyone. We will miss it when our little girl starts school. The service they provide is reliable, reassuring and the children can do a wide range of activities. The food is also really great as they have their own chef who prepares healthy nutritious meals. Well done and thank you to Robins Nest Day Nursery for providing a great service to parents and a lovely safe environment for our children.
Robins Nest Day Nursery is an amazing setting. All three of my children have been to Robins Nest. All have absolutely loved going. Moreover, they have all flourished during their time at Robins Nest. Developing skills both academic and social that stand them in good stead for the next stage of their journey. The staff are kind and very knowledgeable. They care for the children a great deal and form lovely relationships with them as they progress through the nursery. The nursery have been flexible where I have needed to add days or extend hours where staffing permits. Communication is excellent. I regularly get updates sent home through tapestry, and have a quick catch-up with the staff at the end of each session. They are quick to respond to emails and hold parents evenings for more in depth discussions. After many years at Robins Nest, it will be sad to say goodbye this summer, as my youngest starts school. Your children will be in the best hands at Robins Nest.
Our son has been attending Robins Nest Day Nursery since September 2020 and has enjoyed the last 3 years to the fullest. He goes 3 days a week for full day sessions. He loves all of the Nursery Practitioners and is happy to be dropped off as early as 7am. He started off in the Baby-Room and as he got older transitioned into the Nursery setting. We as parents get kept informed through Tapestry of individual updates as well as the class updates too. The staff are always happy, helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have. Our son is going to miss Robins Nest a massive amount when he goes to Primary School in September. Thank you so much for helping our child grow into the happy and confident child he is today.
We moved our daughter to Robins Nest Day Nursery in September 2022 while pregnant with our 2nd child. Our last setting had left all of us anxious about the change but the staff were fantastic and the change in our daughter was instant and she settled straight away. The staff have always been supportive and welcoming of us all and no question or concern is too big or too small for them. They have helped hugely with both my fussy eaters with their encouraging, no pressure atmosphere, the chef has been fantastic with a constantly changing list of dietary requirements for my youngest on medical advice. Their support as my eldest prepares to transition to school has been invaluable for her and us and I cannot thank the team enough - I'm glad my youngest has a few years left as we're not ready to say goodbye to the team just yet!
We have a 22 month old daughter at Robins Nest Day Nursery and honestly couldn't be happier with the care, attention and experience she has had at this nursery since she was 12 months. We were anxious to choose the right nursery and are so glad we chose Robin's Nest, as have had no problems and really trust the staff and know we are leaving our daughter in very good hands. The staff always go above and beyond to cater for our daughter's needs, even suggesting ideas to us when we have needed support with something e.g. support with eczema, dietary requirements, learning how to spoon-feed herself. They are responsive and proactive, and it's clear they know our daughter well and genuinely care about and have bonded with her. I am so glad we chose such a small nursery, as I really think the smaller number of children is what creates such a special, homely atmosphere, where everyone knows each other well and where staff have the time to care for the children very attentively.
