An absolutely amazing nursery with impeccable service. My daughter has thrived since starting in January. The staff are so supportive and have been brilliant with her development, from encouraging her walking (she's now running!) to helping us with potty training. She is happy, eating well, and has
grown so much in confidence. It is such a relief to see her so happy and settled compared to our previous experience.

The nursery has always provided care of the highest quality. Understanding and willingness to talk is something they never shy away from. Each individual care provided is described as being as the highest upmost quality, patience and general friendliness.

My son has been in this nursery now for 2 months and the team are fantastic. They are so attentive, caring and supportive towards my son. It does not matter who his key worker is, or who is in the room with him during the day, the entire team always seem to be aware what he is up to and how he has
got on through the day. The team are all lovely, full of personality and great with the kids.
This nursery is bringing on my son so much.
Another thing I am really happy with is the food in which they provide for the kids. Really good variety of cooked food (not just chips and nuggets) and a lot of veg and fruit included!

A fantastic nursery. The staff are caring, considerate and knowledgeable. We are given regular updates about our child's progress. The nursery is very organised and managed brilliantly. We would highly recommend this nursery to the parents.

After having a really bad experience with a childminder, getting a place at this nursery has honestly been the best thing that could have happened for us.
From the very beginning, they made us feel welcome, reassured and supported. My son has come on so, so much since starting here. His confidence
has grown, his speech has improved, and he's so much more settled and happy in himself.
I truly can't thank the staff enough for the patience, care and effort they've put into helping him thrive.
Every single member of staff is amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about the children and love what they do. My son feels safe and secure there, which as a parent is the most important thing in the world.
He comes home saying their names all night long, which just shows how much he loves them. The nursery is beautiful, clean and such a lovely friendly environment.
I can't thank you all enough for the time and effort you put into caring for my little boy x

My little girl who is 2 now has been attending this nursery for the last 5 months now. It was her 2nd nursery due to a house move and she has settled in great. She absolutley loves her days here. The staff are so friendly and she has a lovely bond with them. The nursery itself is clean, and has a
lovely family feel to it with lots for the children to do. The staff are very helpful and you can tell they generally care about my daughters needs. I would highly reccomend.

My little one has attended Explorers, Lydiate since she was ten months old and she is now nearly 2 and a half. I have nothing but good things to say- the staff are kind, caring and supportive and my daughter has built extremely strong connections. The management team is responsive and helpful and
they seek to make strong connections with families. They offer support and guidance and their communication is excellent. A special mention goes to the food and the cook: I always know that my little one is being offered fresh and nutritious food and I am told what and how much she is eating which then helps me make plans at home.

Both our children go to this nursery, and have done since over a year ago when my eldest was just turning 3, and youngest was 1.5. They love it, and the staff are so amazing! My eldest does have some struggles and they are so kind, patient and communicative with us to ensure she thrives. My eldest
leaves for school in September and she has learn so much and is in such a good place to start her academic journey. I can't say thankyou enough to this wonderful nursery. They put so much effort into a graduation for the leavers too. My youngest will be upping to 4 days soon and I know she will love that!

Explorers Lydiate provides top care for my daughter. My daughter has attended the nursery since 9 months of age and is now 3. The staff are all absolutely amazing and go the extra mile to provide the best possible care by keeping you informed of progress, milestones and by providing stimulating and
amazing daily activities. My daughter loves attending nursery and her confidence has improved massively too, she loves all of the staff. I would highly recommend Explorers Lydiate.

As a first-time mum, I was anxious about putting my son in daycare however after visiting the nursery/settling in sessions, I felt much better about the decision and was impressed by the care and attention given. All the staff have made us both feel welcome which has made our new routine much
easier. Our son has progressed massively since starting here, his comfort and confidence are clearly visible when attending. Several times when collecting our son, we have been told about what he has done that day and the staff member has told me how proud they are of him; the staff have such lovely bonds with the children. We are kept well informed around personal care throughout the day and activities that the nursery will be hosting, e.g. charity/Christmas events (via an app). I highly recommend this nursery, the staff and managers should all be proud of their achievements and commitment to childcare as they provide such a happy and supportive place for our children to develop.

Our son has additional needs and he struggles socially and with change. The team at Explorers are so caring and have helped him to develop so much. The manager has gone above and beyond in supporting us to ensure he has all of the correct input and future planning for his move to school next year.
All of the nursery staff are amazing, they understand our son's needs and have helped him to integrate with the other children more and help to comfort him when overwhelmed. We will be so sad when he has to leave for school, as he is so happy and settled at Explorers.

Explorers is an amazing nursery. My son has been attending since April this year. The staff and managers are top-tier, communication is excellent and I could not possibly feel more comfortable and secure about the setting. My son loves attending and it is evident that all staff make an effort to get
to know each child - even across the three rooms. My son's language and communication are continually developing, he is happy and confident. What more could parents want? My son's key worker is excellent and her commitment to my son's development is evident - as is the bond between them. She always gives us a good rundown of his day on collection which is really reassuring as a parent. The baby room staff are all brilliant, the updates on the app are regular and the learning activities provided are varied and fun. Can't fault Explorers. My son is in safe, competent hands!

This is such a beautiful nursery which I couldn't recommend enough. My daughter has attended this nursery for the last 6 months and settled in extremely quickly thanks to the love and care from all the staff. Due to us moving house, my daughter had to transition into a new nursery which I was
worried about at first but the staff here made my daughter so comfortable and welcome that she settled in very quickly. I cannot thank the Manager and the team enough for their input into her continued development. Each day she comes home talking about how much fun she had, reading and playing. My daughter is going to miss you all so much, thank you.

The staff make you feel very calm and collected when leaving your child with them. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. The current Manager is top-tier, extremely helpful and understanding. All staff are friendly and approachable. My child adores it here, he runs in with no issues and is all
smiles when he goes in and is all smiles when I pick him up! It is very reassuring!

My daughter attends this nursery and we have been so impressed with the support, care and development. She has come on so much with her communication and language skills with great manners. A great moment was seeing her use sign language! We are so pleased with how things are going and fortunate
that we have secured a place for our son later this year.

If you want peace of mind when you leave your little one somewhere, then Explorers is the best possible place. Having previously had a bad experience with my eldest child in nursery, I was so apprehensive about sending my youngest little one somewhere new. The staff here are absolutely wonderful,
you get updates throughout the day, a wonderful chat when you collect your little one and when you see how much your child bonds with the staff there, you know the care they get is just second to none.
The food is lovely, healthy and varied - and the setting itself is spotless. My little one skips in and her development has been fantastic (especially her singing!) We have been there now for almost 3 years and the team are like an extended family. I would recommend this nursery one million times over!

My children have attended this nursery for over 3 years. All the staff are amazing, so kind and attentive with the children, not just the nursery nurses but the chef and cleaners too.
Previously Parklands has now been taken over making it Explorers. I was a little apprehensive with new owners, even
though I knew 'Parklands' needed improvement. We attended a welcome meeting where the managers introduced themselves and discussed future plans for the nursery.
Everything they discussed has been done. I am more than happy with the changes and feel the nursery has improved massively. Each room has been renovated, uniforms and bags have been provided, a new app is used which gives me updates on my child, what she has been doing, what she has eaten etc. And further staff training. The managers are on the ball with paperwork and getting back to me with any requests. My little one has come on leaps and bounds and skips into nursery! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Explorers Lydiate for everything they have done for my little boy over the last 18 months. He settled immediately and warmed to the staff and in particular built up such a great bond with his key worker. We have never had any issues at all. Since he started at Explorers shortly
after turning one he came on rapidly with his development, particularly his speech. They have also played a massive part in his potty training journey and I owe how quickly he’s done this to the nursery for their encouragement after he saw his friends learning the same. The environment is really friendly, calming and safe and all members of staff are happy to spend time on drop off and pick up discussing how their day has been and their development.

My daughter has attended here for seven months now, and she loves it. The staff are so friendly, the owners are very approachable and professional, and it has recently had a refurb, which is looking wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Great nursery - my little boy loves it. Staff are well organised, and the nursery procedures run smoothly. A lot of time has been spent enhancing and renovating the nursery to create a calm, explorative environment for the little ones.
As parents, we are kept well informed of current issues or
news relevant to the age groups of the children, which is always useful.
We are really pleased with the level of care provided.
