Our son has been at Kids Planet since he was 1 and we couldn't be happier with the nursery. I'm always in awe at the imagination, creativity and care that is put into each day and activity. The detail we get on the app, alongside the photos, is fab and gives you a real understanding of our child's
experience and provides topics for conversation at the end of each day. Our son absolutely loves all of the staff and is always excited to attend. There is real warmth between the staff and children, it's obvious that they know the children so well and make every effort to incorporate each child's specific interests into the activities and lessons.
We will really miss Kids Planet when it's time for school in September, it's been an incredible comfort to know how well our son is looked after.

Our daughter really enjoys attending Kids Planet Heaton Mersey three days a week in the baby room.
All the team and super friendly and have created a great bond with our child.
We love receiving the daily updates via the app of what she has eaten (which is usually everything!) and the photo
observations of great activities are extra special to see. They have also supported her with tummy time when asked to encourage her to crawl.
We feel when we drop her off for the day she is in the best care.

Brilliant nursery, staff are friendly and my child enjoys it which is most important. Communication is always strong. This was my childs second nursery having gone for a term elsewhere and I am delighted we made the move.

I can't recommend the staff, the activities and the daily communication highly enough at Kids Planet Heaton Mersey. Our son is neurodivergent and the staff have worked tirelessly in every room to ensure his needs are met from 8am-6pm full-time for the last 3 years. He receives 1:1 attention when
required and throughout his nursery journey the staff have educated themselves regarding his sensory-seeking behaviours and have produced resources tailored to his development objectives. The staff in the pre-school room are now working hard to help him get school ready. The staff deserve immense credit for how well they have progressed him. The daily updates & photos are bespoke and detailed, and the observations and written progress reports we receive every half-term are insightful. The prevailing sense of calm, the generous and caring nature of the staff and their desire to nurture our son's interests set this nursery apart. We'll always be indebted to the wonderful staff for their efforts!

My daughter is coming to and end of her nursery journey when she starts Reception later on in year. I can not fault this nursery; they listen to you and take on any suggestions. The staff in pre school are great amazing and they offer such variety of learning activities aswell as fun activities to
keep the children busy. I recommend this nursery to all.

I looked around a lot of nurseries before settling on Kids Planet Heaton Mersey, it was just heads and shoulders above the rest. From the moment you step through the door it's just lovely - calm music, decor celebrating current events, beautiful outdoor spaces for each age group (no taking in in
turns to go out here!), a zen den, sports coaches, I could go on..! My son has thrived since he started at 9 months old. The staff are excellent and genuinely care about the children. How they can manage so many nappy changes and potty runs with a smile I'll never know! They post lots of pictures on their parent app of things the children have been up to - a brilliant, creative mix of activities. Also added bonus that there's parking outside and snacks for the children as they leave. Only trouble is that sometimes the snack has run out before I pick my child up. Special shout out to Jade and Hana, you are superstars!

Excellent nursery. Child loves going, has made friends, and all the children look to be developing quite well and seem to know all the other parents of their friends. Lots of friends don't seem to know what makaton is which has been great for speech development. Great outdoor space in the warmer
weather and faultless communication from the nursery staff on activities and/or issues during the day.

We couldn't be happier with the nursery. All the staff know Flo by name and she claps when she pulls up to nursery and is clearly very settled. Communication is 10/10 and there is a variety of activities so I don't need the pressure of doing messy play at home. Being a working parent can come with a
lot of guilt but I actually feel none because I know Flo is having the time of her life every day.

All the staff at kids planet have been amazing and really helped with settling in my daughter. I had no reservations and cannot commend this nursery more to anyone debating whether to send their child here!!

My daughter has been going to the Kids Planet Heaton Mersey for just over a year. It didn't take her a long time to settle in and she has absolutely loved her time whilst she has been there. Each day she would come home happy and tell me stories about how much she loved playing with her friends and
doing fun activities - which definitely gave me the reassurance, that she is in safe hands and has been looked after extremely well. The team in Toddlers are absolutely fantastic and goes above and beyond in what they do. They really make the effort to communicate at handovers and have supported my daughter to grow in her confidence and social skills. My daughter was a fussy eater when she started at the nursery - but now she has really developed a willingness to try different foods - all thanks to the staff at the nursery. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough to any new parents willing to send their children to a nursery setting. Honestly, you will not be disappointed.

My daughter started in the toddler room a couple of months ago and absolutely loves it. I was worried about being a first-time mum dropping her off but the staff and management made me feel at ease. The toddler staff are all wonderful and set up really engaging activities for the children to explore
daily. I've noticed in just a couple of months how much nursery has developed my daughter's speech and understanding. I am also grateful for their amazing outdoor area as we have little to no garden at home so it makes me happy that she gets to explore the outdoors especially the slide which is her favourite!

All the staff have been absolutely brilliant in the 11 months that my child has attended Kids Planet Heaton Mersey. My 22-month-old absolutely loves coming into nursery each day, which gives me peace of mind that the nursery provides all the support needed for children to have fun, as well as
develop.

Our son completed one year of pre-school at Kids Planet before graduating this July. He had a fantastic time and we really appreciated the support he receicved from everyone at the nursery. He started slightly later in the school year, but apart from a tentative first 20 minutes he never looked
back! He was excited to head to pre-school every day (always a good sign) and full of stories every afternoon when we picked him up. He attended from around 8:30-9am until 5-5:30pm every day, even staying as late as 6pm on occasion. They were always quick to let us know if he showed any signs of illness, and ensured he ate well each day. There was a great mix of indoors and outdoors activities, especially once the days became warmer from the spring onwards. The staff were exceptional and always engaged, taking time each afternoon to let us know how his day had gone. We appreciated the use of the app to let us know important updates, and our communication from management was consistently good.

My son has been at the nursery for 14 months now, and I just think they are great. The staff are all so friendly - everyone knows the kids' names - whether they are in their room or not. My son's development has just come on leaps and bounds, we get regular updates on the app and they are also super
flexible with day swaps where needed (something I know a lot of nurseries are not). They have a great outdoor play area that's super secure so they use it all the time and often go on fun little trips out.

Our little boy started at Kids Planet a few months ago and we couldn't be happier. The staff are really friendly and engaging and have taken the time to get to know him. I'm amazed by how much they fit into a day and I can see the impact of this on my son's development. He is 13 months old and
picking up lots of new words and using Makaton signs at home that he is learning at nursery! We've had thorough updates every day and pictures most days of him having a ball. On pick up the staff are always ready to give a run-through of his day and how he is doing! Working in education I know how much pressure there is to meet criteria but nothing here feels like a tick-box exercise. I'm confident that the children's well-being and development are at the centre of everything they do.

My experience with this nursery is nothing but positive. My son has settled in so well, and this is all down to the wonderful staff. They’ve taken such good care of him. I’m kept fully updated, and I feel very comfortable knowing he’s in good hands with staff that really care about the children.

My son had a hard time settling and transitioning between rooms and was always well supported. He is now about to go into the preschool and is happy, excited to go to nursery, has made lovely friendships and enjoys his time there. Staff, regardless of the room they work in, know the children by name
and are very pleasant to speak to. My youngest is about to start in the baby room and I’m sure his experience will be as positive.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was 14 months and it has been nothing but fantastic (he is now 3 and a half years old).
It is a very clean setting and the outside space is great.
The staff are very knowledgeable and so dedicated to the children. They go beyond and above to ensure
the children are stimulated and are always available to discuss progress/action plans.
Kudos to staff who are always here to give a cuddle to my son when he has a wobble: I know he will be fine within a few minutes of having his daily cuddle and it puts my mind at ease.
Finally, I can't review the nursery without mentioning the food: it is varied and cooked fresh. Thank you to the chef for always ensuring 2 meals are never the same.
I could not be happier to have chosen this nursery and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any new parents.

Really lovely nursery setting. My son loves his group and the staff.
He is coming on much more with his language as this has been a focus in the teaching and learning. It is a very encouraging environment, clear communication and handover.
I would like additional photos etc if possible but
understand staff are busy, other than that, its great.
