My daughter has been at Sunshine coming up to a year now and so has now been with this family that I can provide an honest review about our relationship with the team there. I use the words family and relationships because that is exactly what Sunshine is all about. This is the most special place and I feel very lucky that my daughter has spent the last year in their care. The staff are warm, experienced, and have a wonderful relationship with all of their children. My daughter has a key person, but she has wonderfully close relationships with many if not all of the staff she comes in to contact with. We make the hour round trip four days a week as, even though there are other alternatives closer to home, we wouldn't dream of moving her to another setting. The experiences she gets at this nursery are fantastic and the staff have an incredible understanding of the nursery curriculum and offer exposure to outdoor forest school, sports, art and so many extra curricular activities.

We've had our 2 children in Sunshine for the past 7 years so feel fairly qualified to make remarks. The nursery and all that work there past and present are simply amazing. They are inextricably woven into the fabric of our lives and have contributed positively in all that time. We have nothing but happy fulfilling and positive memories of our time there and they must take credit for part of making our children the rounded and confident happy children they are today.

I am very impressed with Sunshine, the staff are very kind and they arrange brilliant activities for the children. My son loves going to the allotment and the forest school. They also really care about the children's development to get them ready for school

Really great nursery, very accommodating. Our son has had an amazing two years there. He loves the nursery and it has helped prepare him well for the transition to school. We had no hesitation sending our second child to Sunshine.

I cannot recommend Sunshine enough! Both my girls love the nursery. From the staff who always go above and beyond to care and excite my children. To the amazing activities always on offer. Outdoor play and messy play is so key to child development and Sunshine have nailed it. My kids ask to go to nursery. Amazing all round!!

Sunshine have been incredible supporting our Daughter with SEN. They have provided a loving environment in which she has flourished and prepared her for school. The staff genuinely care and are a credit to themselves and the profession. The facilities are terrific, especially the forest school and extra activities such as yoga, makaton and art exhibition really make this an outstanding nursery. The food is varied and healthy and the children are encouraged to be independent in serving, eating and cleaning up. Our Daughter has started to tidy up after herself at home, even washing up the dishes! Aswell as supporting our Daughter, they have also supported us as parents, going over and above to assist with paperwork and processes associated with EHCP, alongside accommodating therapists visits. Very friendly, communicative and understanding staff. My son has learnt so much and is very happy at Sunshine. Everyday they incorporate outside time and montisorri play that has really helped my son come out of his shell. Also the food is amazing, also helping my son to eat more varied foods.

My son joined the nursery at 10 months old (he's nearly two) and started in the baby room. The staff are wonderful, and my son has built an amazing relationship with them. One in particular who I love watching him run to for a hug when I drop him off. The staff are caring and attentive and have been pivotal in his development. He has now transitioned to the next age room, and the staff are just as wonderful and he still looks forward to nursery every day.

Our son has just left Sunshine Montessori to move to Reception after four years. I can say the nursery has played a key role in him becoming the lovely kind little person he is. He has always got into and out of the nursery with a smile. The staff is skilled, caring and empathic, the activities are creative, educational and, motivating, and the location and facilities are perfect to balance being indoors and outdoors.

Sunshine has been a home-from-home for our son. From the first day when he was 9 months old to his last day, he has been extremely happy! The staff is amazing, caring and loving. They show a lot of respect for each kid as an individual and their specific needs and interests. The variety of activities both indoors (role play, Montessori activities, reading) and outdoors (such as forest school, the allotment, and forest walks) have provided an extremely positive and well-rounded learning experience. Without a doubt the best decision we made! Thank you, Sunshine for an amazing start in education!

Sunshine Montessori is childcare at its best! The care and attention paid to the children at this nursery is second to none! The staff are amazing! The look on the staff's faces when they discuss your child is as though they are their own children. This is exactly what we all want as parents. At Sunshine, they take the children to forest School, the local care home, the allotment, the pond to feed the ducks, the shop to buy cans for the One Can Trust, garden centres to but the nursery Christmas tree, bus trips, zoo trips, the list goes on. At Christmas, all the children including the babies were all wrapped up warm and over the road going door to door singing carols to the neighbours of the Nursery. Regular parents' evenings give you time to discuss your child's development. They also make time at handovers to talk about the day your child has had. Hats off to all the staff and the management. Keep doing what you're doing. We've loved every minute of our son's time with you.

Wonderful place, highly recommend it. They really care about your child's needs and go above and beyond to help your child grow. Was the perfect setting to get him ready for primary school in September and he made some wonderful friends.

We are now coming to the end of 6 years at Sunshine - our son and daughter both attended from being little 1-year-olds in the baby room to their "graduation" from the preschool room. Almost 3 years ago, we moved, and I looked at maybe six nurseries that were closer or more convenient, but there was nowhere else I would dream of leaving my kids! Sunshine nurtures, encourages and supports children with love and compassion. The staff truly know the children and care for them. I know that the decision we made to start at Sunshine was the best decision we could have made. To give your kids a start that is filled with love, adventure, enthusiasm and joy is so important, and I trusted the Sunshine staff with my babies every day. I will always be grateful.

We can't speak highly enough of Sunshine Montessori! Our son is 4 and has autism and really struggled at his first nursery, we persisted for many months before making the decision to move him to Sunshine and although a long drive every day it is a decision we are extremely pleased with. The staff are incredibly patient with him and kind, they really go above and beyond to support him through the day. He truly enjoys going and that is invaluable to us after his previous experience and often arriving at his last nursery in tears and having to leave early. The staff always give us great feedback and for someone that rarely communicates and shows his affection, it is clear our child adores them. We will really miss them all and the feeling of calm every time we drop him off in the morning.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. The staff are so wonderful, caring and kind. The breadth of activities they do is amazing. My son has had so many fun experiences and learnt so much. At the end of the day, the kids all come out smiling. My son will soon be leaving for school and he couldn't be better prepared for what is ahead of him, all thanks to Sunshine. It's a really special place!

My children have been at Sunshine for about a month now. One of my girls hadn’t ever been to nursery and my other one had changed nursery to join Sunshine. I can’t get over how excited my girls are to go into the nursery and equally how excited they are to show us what an amazing day they have had at the end of the day. The staff are just incredible. They’re caring, attentive and passionate. The activities that my children have done these past few weeks just show how amazing the nursery is. There’s always something new to do. I’m so happy with the choice we’ve made and can’t wait for my children to continue their journey at Sunshine Montessori!

My son has just started and has immediately settled in and loves being at preschool. A special note for one member of the pre-school room team who is on the ball with everything and is super reassuring - as are all the other staff! Thank you for already making my son feel most welcome at the setting.

We love Sunshine Montessori. We moved our son to Sunshine a year ago from a daycare setting and it was the best decision we ever made. Any doubts we had as to whether we were making the right decision were quashed instantly and we knew it was the perfect fit for our family. The opportunity for daily outside learning, come rain or shine, is a perfect fit our son. We feel he is nurtured, loved and guided in a way we weren't getting at our previous setting. We are continually thankful for the opportunities Sunshine provide for learning that go above and beyond our expectations. Our nine month old daughter has just started and she loves it already, we can't wait to watch her grow and learn from the wonderful staff around her.

More than six years ago, we made the frankly nerve-wracking decision of where to send our older daughter to nursery. We decided on Sunshine because from the first minute, I walked into the nursery, I felt it was right. We have not looked back since. Sunshine is an amazing place. Children grow, and you feel they are truly loved and cared for. At times we struggled to get them home in the evening because they wanted to stay longer playing with their friends and the nursery practitioners. Over the years, we have also seen the nursery grow. They take on feedback and constantly thrive to improve. Soon for us, it will be the end of our Sunshine time, when my youngest goes to school, knowing that Sunshine has supported both my children so amazingly in their early childhood and helped to give them the best possible start. If we would have another little one, we would not hesitate to send them to Sunshine as well.

We are so pleased that we found Sunshine Montessori Nursery for our two children. The staff are absolutely wonderful; you can tell how much they genuinely care for the children, their well-being, and their development. The staff plan varied activities to support children in their learning and try to incorporate the outdoors as much as possible. They also carefully plan meals and try to introduce new foods and flavours, which my children both absolutely love. We couldn’t have asked for a better nursery experience, both for us in knowing that they are safe, cared for and happy and for our children in being in a nurturing, fun environment.
