My son has been going to nursery
Since april last year. He was shy at first wouldn't get involved with the other children but now he has a group of friends. He has really come out of his shell. Interacts more with the staff and the other children.Toddler staff are amazing. He is really fond of his
key worker. I have known his key worker as my eldest attended the same nursery and they both have had the same key worker.
He looks forward to going to nursery now.
Comes out happy at the end of the day.

Outstanding nursery from staff to management you cannot fault all staff and management are very professional at thier role.
my son loves it at the nursey making new friends and getting involved the staff are really supportive aslo they work hard.
The nursery is spotless and clean.

Brilliant nursery, brilliant staff my baby's been going there since he was 1 Hes 3 this year and Hes come on leaps and bounds since being at explorers. All the girls who work there are super helpful and supportive. 10/10 nursery.

My child has attended this nursery since 10 months old and over a year later we are still very happy with our decision. The staff are excellent and go above and beyond for the children, so much effort goes into activity planning and setting up the nursery for special occasions throughout the year.
My little boy is happy and excited to be greeted by his teachers daily which is really reassuring at drop off and really helped with the transition of going back to work last year.
I have recommended Explorers to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and we are very grateful to have chosen this setting for our little boy.

Amazing nursery, my little boy loves it and is always super excited to go! Never had any issues, staff are welcoming, friendly and caring! Always kept up to date on what he's been getting up to on the app. My little boy has came on loads since being at the nursery, I would highly recommend!

My son has attended explorers Kirkby since he was 19 months old he is now 4 ..and the setting as a whole has helped him flourish .my son is on the pathway and staff/ management have gone above and beyond with their support ,advice ,knowledge . And have always took the time to listen ,answer any
questions I had .they are emphatic,compassionate,kind and caring and have provided a safe place for my son to flourish .when my son leaves to start reception in September both he and I are going to miss the staff so much .i would /have recommended explorers to anyone looking for a nursery /pre-school .

Great place, did a good effort on the graduation party, well decorated and eventful, made it lovely for our daughter. Been very helpful in general and have good staff. Good food always comes out full. would recommend.

We have been with this nursery for 18 months now and they have been amazing. The staff are great with the kids and provide lots of updates on what your child is doing. We have a child in preschool and one in baby room and feel the staff go above and beyond, they can't do enough for you.

My son love going in to nursery walks straight in. Loves the outdoor play with water and all the animals in nursery especially sharks an he has come on so well since starting before nursery he wouldn't leave my side but now happily goes.

I chose this nursery for my daughter as me and her dad loved the general feel of the nursery and staff, they are all so friendly, accommodating and genuinely care about the needs of the children. However they didn't have the hours available when we first went to look around and we settled on another
nursery. We withdrew my daughters place at the other nursery before she had even started due to some concerns we had. The difference between explorers and this other nursery was eye opening. One lady was amazing in sorting a place out last minute. I love how they update you via the app throughout the day with the things she has ate, drank, the activities she has completed and if she has slept or not etc. It really puts your mind at ease. The food always looks delicious from updates on the app. They even gave out little Christmas bags with presents and keepsakes inside for her. I loved this gesture as it meant that every child had a present to open on Christmas day regardless.

Absolutely amazing nursery! Staff are fabulous and caring and my child has come on leaps and bounds there and runs towards there as soon as he sees it to go inside. The most friendliest, cleanest, professional nursery! Would recommend to everyone!

This is, hands down, the best nursery you could wish for! The staff are absolutely dedicated to their job and love what they do, the facilities are always clean and cater to all ages with special attention to sensory requirement. They have regular fun activities, including personal development and
constantly update us parents with observations. Since my child has been here, he has developed in every aspect and truly loves attending his nursery. As a mother who suffers with PTSD after a traumatic pregnancy and my son having a brain condition, it means the world that they take extra special care of him. The morning staff I owe special thanks to as they have been absolutely amazing, especially one member of staff, in particular, who is a credit to the company. Would always highly recommend, thank you for all your hard work and dedication to our children and their development.

My child has been in Explorers since she was 2 and now she is 4 years old, she absolutely loves the nursery and all the staff there. Any problems I've had, they have been quick to sort it and keep updates on it.
Any accidents that occur are told very quickly via telephone or by the app
The app is
very good for updates etc., always updating what my child is doing, also very good for newsletters to keep updated with what's going on throughout each month.

The experience is going excellent so far, my son is developing much more now and improving his English skills, as is not his first language. He absolutely loves going to the nursery and loves the girls who take care of him.
The two things that could improve are the app update about the meals and
more updates about activities and day-to-day, (better quality photos will help as well).

My 2-year-old little girl has only been going since September 2024 and I cannot fault the nursery one bit, she was anxious and crying for me after 30 minutes during settling in's so had to extend her settling-in weeks, but now my little girl has gained so much confidence and absolutely loves going
into nursery and she has come on so much.

My son has attended Explorers for approximately 2 years he has come on so much since being at this setting. As a SEN child, my son has been fully supported every step of the way. He absolutely loves the staff and has a real special bond with all staff, I honestly can't thank them enough for their
support and kindness over the past few years. From the second he knows it's nursery day he's excited, when he's in the setting we receive daily updates too. He's just graduated from pre-school, and the staff all went above and beyond to make it special for everyone it's a gorgeous memory we all had an amazing day. I know my son will miss coming here he leaves for big school in September. I would 1000% recommend Explorers Nursery to all I have a lot to thank them for.

Absolutely amazing nursery, all the girls are fab and I feel at ease leaving my son in their safe hands.
The manager runs the nursery very well and it is very personal to each child.

Such a great nursery. My little boy loves going and runs in without hesitation, the staff are great and go above and beyond. I never have any concerns and I know he is safe and cared for when he is there. Forever grateful for all the help they have gave me with my son and helping his progress

Explorers Nursery in Kirkby Southdene is really good.
My daughter started there in January, and the staff are lovely. My daughter always says she loves school, and it is nice to hear as you worry about how they will cope and be looked after by others; they all do an excellent job, so thank you all
for taking such good care of my daughter whilst in your nursery and helping her grow and learn.
