I have two children at Mallards Wood. The nursery has a real family feel due to the intimate setting and the staff, who are always extremely friendly, approachable and enthusiastic. You can tell they really care about the children from the way they engage with them, but also the way in which my
children respond to and talk about the staff, who they have both formed strong bonds with.
The activities are diverse, creative and engaging, whilst also helping with the children’s learning and development. Any issues we have had have always been dealt with swiftly and professionally. Meals are made on-site and are varied and healthy.
What really sets the nursery apart is the way in which staff always go the extra mile. From Birthday parties, to summer fetes, graduation ceremonies and ways of communicating and engaging with pupils and parents during lockdown – the time, effort and consideration the staff put in is second to none.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Extremely friendly, happy, caring, loving staff. Management always answered my questions on time. Cleanliness is outstanding including the kitchen. Food made on-site very healthy. Teaching and learning absolutely fantastic. In-fact I have learnt some more ways of
disciplining my toddler from the nursery staff. The way they interact with the babies and toddlers is, to me, a way I can learn from them.
