The nursery is good, and has definitely improved over the last few years. The staff are kind and caring and my little one enjoys going each day. There are issues of course (predominately around communication) and also a favouring of photos only being provided on social media sites, whereas if your
child has a no public photo policy, it means that you don't see any photos from the exciting events on the app. We're meant to get regular updates but ours have dwindled to once a month which is very upsetting, despite frequent requests. They have lovely theme days and events which they obviously take a great deal of time and care to think about for the children's benefit. Overall, a very lovely nursery and we have been happy for the last few years, just with better comms going forward and more updates

The staff at TOSN Faringdon are very kind, caring and professional. They have been really supportive while my daughter has been settling in more and building confidence. I would recommend the nursery to other families.

Our son loves Old Station nursery, he quite often doesn't want to leave! All the staff have been lovely, and he talks about them all the time which clearly shows the impact they are having on him. His language and social skills have developed greatly since being at nursery. There's lots of small
personal touches aswell such as gifts/artwork being made by the children for special occasions to take home. There is also a variety of activities completed with the children which seem to vary each day which is great.
Only feedback is that I wish the app was used more. In babies room it was updated daily with meals, sleep and photographs. Now we are lucky to get one photograph every 3 weeks, and there's no food updates or sleep updates. I do understand that it must be hard to look after lots of children and complete the app at the same time, but some form of communication/update would be nice.

The staff are absolutely wonderful-so caring, attentive and understanding. Since starting preschool, our daughter has gained so much confidence and genuinely loves spending her time there. It means the world to us as parents to see her so happy and comfortable in such a nurturing environment. Thank

Our child generally enjoys nursery, eats well there and does a range of activities. The staff are all lovely, however the 6 weekly updates we are meant to receive on our child's development and progress has been lacking. I have seen other parents get much more in depth updates at the expected time
intervals, so think this must be a bit hit or miss depending on key worker. However I am not sure if staff are potentially meant to be doing these updates and assessments whilst also caring for the children, so on the other hand I would prefer they are spending time interacting with the children rather than filling out forms!

Our baby is very happy here and the staff are so lovely with him and put a lot of effort into doing creative activities and fun crafts. The special dress up days are fun and it is lovely to see everyone getting involved. There are also lots of family events which is great. Thank you!

My daughter started nursery in January and she has settled in amazingly! The girls at old station have been amazing with her, her key worker is fab and goes above and beyond for my daughter. Communication is great from her through the app which is brilliant especially being an anxious mum being able
to see what your child is getting up to! My daughter has done lots of different activities from sensory play to reading books. She really looks forward to going to nursery!

Amazing nursery with kind, polite, and well-trained staff - Sarah is especially wonderful. The daily program is full of engaging activities, which the children really enjoy. The food is great, and the staff carefully consider all allergies and individual preferences.
Overall, it's a 5-star
experience - I only wish I could give them even more!

Our son has been with the nursery since he was one and every team, across the rooms has been fantastic. Our son has grown in confidence, language and general development thanks to the fantastic structure, approach and staff. We feel really lucky to have found Old Station and the experiences they are

The Faringdon nursery is absolutely brilliant. The staff are friendly, professional and make the welfare of all children their top priority. In the toddler room, the children do a wide range of activities each week including reading, storytime, singing, outside play, messy play, painting and drawing
the list goes on! The food is good, varied and balanced and prepared on site and toddlers also take part in regular cooking/baking activities. The nursery also take part in all the fun festivities and celebrations throughout the year. The staff are wonderful, they all know my child by name and take the time to chat and ask how we are. Communication is very good, regular updates are sent from the nursery manager and individual handovers each day are thorough. It would be nice if the toddler room posted more pictures on the app to parents. It was almost daily in the baby room but toddlers at best it's once a week.

My 1 year old started here a couple months ago and has settled in so well! Not once has he been upset at drop off or pick! He absolutely loves the staff here, and you can really tell they love the children too. They explore all sorts of new foods too which I love. I would recommend this nursery to
any parents out there. I've seen a huge development in my little one, he's learnt so much already.

We have been with Old Station Nursery since 2022 and our son has been so happy there. Our son's development has been amazing and we know things because of the incredible team at OSN. The office staff, kitchen team and key workers are incredible and have our full trust. OSN feels like a second family
to us and we are so grateful for them.

My son moved to this nursery in January of this year and the team have been so welcoming and lovely with him that he has adapted to the change so well.
There are always plenty of activities on offer and they kids are outside what ever the weather which I know my little one appreciates.

My son has been at old station since he was 6 months old and is now 2. He has thrived so much being at nursery. Baby room was first class and toddler room gives them the ability to grow and explore themselves in a safe and exhilarating environment. All of the staff know all of the children and
genuinely care. The service is so personal and loving and I couldn't recommend them more

Old Station Nursery is such a warm and welcoming nursery for both children and parents. Each member of staff treats you and your child as their own and goes above and beyond to make you feel safe leaving your babies in their care. My child has the best time every day that they are there. They are
well taken care of and come home with their own artwork and special gifts on different occasions. The nursery includes all aspects of life and celebrates a range of holidays in super fun ways that involve all children. Honestly, it is the best nursery around.

We joined the toddler room in January 2026. Since then our son has settled really well and he loves going to Nursery. The staff are lovely and do lots of fun activities with the children. I would recomend to anyone.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. My child absolutely loves going and is always so excited to see everyone when she arrives - she gets carried in with a big smile and can't wait to start her day.
The staff are so warm, caring and attentive, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about
the children. They always look after her so well, making sure she feels safe, supported and happy. It gives us such peace of mind knowing she is in such good hands every day.
I would like to have more updates in regards to pictures but I appreciate they are busy with the children.
I love the fact that they give a 6 week update and so far their progress aligns with what we are also working on at home. I can always get through on the phone and I don't have any concerns about my baby's safety.

My child started at the Old Station in Faringdon in January 2026. Even though he had previously attended a different nursery setting only a few months before, he has found it tricky to go in each morning, but the staff in his room have been so kind and patient. They've worked with us to find the
best ways for him to come in and stay calm.
Once he is there, he has a wonderful time and takes part in all sorts of activities and games, which he delights in telling me all about when I pick him up. One thing I love about the Old Station is that I am allowed into the room when I collect him, meaning I can see him engaged in play before he notices I'm there! It's such a precious thing to see that he is so content when I'm not around, so I know he feels happy and safe when he is there.

Remi joined Faringdon in Nov at 19 months old after moving areas and wow what an amazing nursery!
The team are so kind, caring and affectionate towards the babies we couldn't ask for anything more. I have been lucky enough as a parent to see him grow and develop massively over the past few months
and will be sad to see him leave the baby room and move to toddlers.
All the team across the whole nursery are always happy to help and just gorgeous people but a special shout out to Naomi who is his key person she is just amazing at her job and Remi clearly loves her.
Can't wait to see the rest of his journey and for our newest baby to join next year if you're thinking about sending your babies here I highly recommend X

I am very happy for my son to be in this nursery - he is confident and happy to go and gets to do lots of activities that I wouldn't set up for him at home. There isn't a lot of staff turnover which makes me confident that it's good for them too, and happy staff are more likely to look after my son
well. The nursery has done really well accommodating my son's extra care needs after an accident. The office team are always helpful and prompt in communication. I would 100% recommend.
