Jan has been amazing. I needed some urgent help to update my funding and add additional hours for my son. She resolved the issue very promptly and made the process as smooth as possible. She has consistently dealt with any queries I have had, since my son joined the nursery over a year ago,
alongside the deputy managers Becca and Shannon. The strong leadership team evidently contributes to the happy nursery environment. He is always excited to go to nursery and the team always go above and beyond to ensure he is happy, healthy and meeting all of his developmental milestones. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has attended Sunhill since he was 9 months old, he is now 2.5 years old and he absolutely loves going each week. We can't compliment the staff enough. They are all so lovely and caring towards the children. We've noticed a huge change in our childs development, he is constantly learning
something new. We are very glad we chose to send our child to Sunhill.

My daughter has been at this nursery for the past two years, and her older sibling also went here before starting school. We've had a really great experience.
The nursery is well looked after and there's very little staff turnover, which makes it feel stable. The kids are clearly happy and
comfortable there.
Each room has its own outdoor space and the doors are often open so the children can spend lots of time outside, which is brilliant. They also do loads of fun activities like baking, painting and singing.
What really makes the nursery though is the staff - they're kind, very experienced and genuinely care about the children. They were also amazing at supporting us through potty training.

Since joining, our child's transformation has been wonderful to witness.
The way members of staff helped him settle in and supported him to become part of the group made a big difference in his confidence. We're especially grateful for the effort put into his communication;
seeing him start to talk more, learn new words, and even begin counting has been a huge milestone for our family. Whether it's participating in group activities or trying new things, it's clear he feels safe and encouraged.
Highly recommend this nursery for their nurturing and educational approach!

Our older daughter attended Sunhill Preschool until she left to start school then our younger son started when he was 1. We've always had a very positive experience. The staff in the baby room were wonderful at helping my son to settle and forming bonds with him that were lovely to see and
reassuring when leaving a little one for the first time in childcare. The nursery offers lots of fun activities and outside space and the children always seem to be having a great time. I appreciate the updates via app from the nursery. All of the staff clearly care for the children and are very engaged and caring.

We joined Sunhill in January 2025 when we had moved out of London and just landed in the area and were quite emotional about leaving our previous nursery. But we shouldn't have worried - our daughter had a great transition and settled in well. There is a good balance of structured activity and
freeform/ Montessori type play. The outdoor space is great and the children are encouraged to flow in and out. I think it's a really good sign when our daughter comes back showing signs of the mud kitchen!
She has made great relationships there with both children and staff and has had an easy transition up into pre-school recently. There is a great community and parents are encouraged to invite everyone in the class to parties, which has been really useful for us being new to the area. We would thoroughly recommend Sunhill, which is a really warm, welcoming place to be part of.

Since my children began at this nursery, they have learnt various things that they are able to apply to every day doings which I have been really amazed at. My children have also gained a lot of confidence within themselves as they develop into their own characters since staring at sunhill in April
2025. Speech and communication was something I worried a lot with my children due to coming from a bilingual household. But the nursery has acknowledged those cultural influences in order to support communication with my children. The nursery teachers and management are excellent at their work and communicate very promptly and well regarding all care of a child. I have most definitely seen a big difference in my children's development and abilities as they have attended!

We are very happy with Sunhill Day Nursery in Royston, my daughter loves coming to nursery every day! They take wonderful care of her, and the staff, along with the nursery manager, are lovely, kind, and always listen if we have any concerns. We would also like to highlight that the food provided is
very good, with a great variety, and the number of meals throughout the day is excellent. We highly recommend Sunhill Day Nursery to any parent looking for a nursery for their children.

We have been delighted with the level of care and support provided by the staff at Sunhill to both our children. The staff are incredibly patient and thoughtful, and great at engaging all the children, so they are stimulated as well as cared for.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery everyday, there is always a huge variety of activities for her and she really enjoys all of the Montessori activities. The staff are all super friendly and very caring to all of the children. I wish my daughter could stay forever!

Sunhill Nursery is an amazing nursery with incredible and caring staff. My son loves going to this nursery. This nursery has helped my son to grow in his social skills and to become more confident and independent. The setting and the activities that they provide here are absolutely amazing and the
communication between the manager, staff and myself is like no other which has put myself at ease. I am really grateful to have found this nursery for my little one.

Our son has attended Sunhill Royston for nearly three years and has been thoroughly looked after. All the staff know his name and are friendly and welcoming. Our son was incredibly shy to begin with and struggled adjusting to his new routine, all the staff took the time and patience to work with
him, cuddle him and calm him to ensure he would go on to enjoy his day.
Our youngest son has just started and again all the staff are taking the time to ensure he settles in.
The children get varied activities throughout the week as well as a great menu of food.
I couldn't recommend the nursery enough, the staff are fantastic with the children and the parents!

Sunhill has been great for my son, and the care provided by the staff has been exceptional. I was always updated on his development, including the minor details. My son has thoroughly enjoyed his time there; he has made great friendships and will miss it when he starts school. Sunhill has provided a

My son loves it at Sun Hill. He's made a lot of friends there and the staff encourage him to play nicely with others. They also place a strong emphasis on teaching kindness and independence, which shows in the improvements he has made. Facilities are lovely and the outdoor space is a big favourite.

Our son really enjoys going to nursery. He is well looked after and gets lots of opportunities to play outside. The food is always healthy and varied. We would recommend this nursery to anyone considering it.
The app system could do with an update - we often don't get updates on every meal and
don't get a picture every day. Also although the staff are good there is a high staff turnover and in the first few months our son had three different key workers!

My son has been attending Sunhill for over a year now. He absolutely loves it there and is excited to attend, and all the staff are so kind and caring. Food choices vary so not constantly eating the same thing and lots of variations.

This is the first month our 1 year old has gone to nursery and Sunhill has made that a really positive experience for him and us. The communication with the staff is excellent and the little one always seems to have a good time there. He’s now been over 6 weeks and seems to really enjoy his time at
Sunhill. There’s always lots to play with and lots of good food.
