My family has recently moved to Brighton and so my daughter moved from her previous nursery at age 3. I was worried about the transition for her, but Young Sussex were welcoming, knowledgeable and have been so supportive to us as a family. Our daughter had settled in so well and it's lovely to watch her go in confident and calm every morning. I trust everyone who works here and would highly recommend it for any other families.

Young Sussex is a really wonderful nursery and special place for children to grow up. Our daughter (now four) has been there since she was one and we have watched her grow into a confident, caring and funny little girl. The staff are amazing, gentle and patient and consistent, providing that supportive and nurturing environment at each stage of development. The children have so many opportunities to develop interests through all of the activities and play. The outside space is fantastic, our daughter loves the garden and any opportunity to play in the mud kitchen! Communication with the staff is brilliant and feels like a partnership, they are so considered and really care for the needs of the children. Our son (one) has recently started and he loves nursery too, it is wonderful to see the bonds he is forming with the staff already. We are moving out of the area, so sadly leaving but we are so grateful to Young Sussex for the wonderful start they have given our children.

Young Sussex is an excellent nursery. Our daughter started there at 10 months and had a very gentle start (for both her and us). She grew up there, running in every morning and was always greeted kindly, by her name, by known member of staff. Her days were filled with great activities, amazing food and we were updated all the way through. Her progress and needs were often discussed and we had informal chat about her day every day. We, unfortunately, had to change nursery after we moved away but would have loved to keep her there until school. Now we have another nursery to compare, we can definitely say that Young Sussex made our daughter feel happy and special on a daily basis.

An absolutely wonderful nursery, my son attended since he was 12 months and has just left to start reception. He had the best experience at Young Sussex and has flourished into a confident and curious boy. The staff are caring, nurturing and cater to each child's needs. You really build a relationship with the team who have all been there a long time which is testament to a great team. They have lots of space indoors and out and the separate baby garden is really nice. The opening hours and flexibility of attendance was a huge benefit to us. We are looking forward to sending our youngest soon and seeing everyone again.

My daughter has been in Young Sussex for two years and it's been a pleasure. Amazing management and staff are very well trained. My daughter was very shy at the beginning of first year she was struggling in making friends and was very shy to talk the staff worked so hard to help my daughter and within very short time my daughter started to be confident in talking , making friends and taking part in group activities. Thank you YoungSussex team .

A great nursery (our daughter has been to 4!) good staff retention which is important to us, and really big spaces indoors and outdoors for the kids. Very welcoming and professional staff and lots of fun activities. Our daughter was very happy there.

Both our children have attend Young Sussex in Brighton, so we have been involved with the school for more than 5 years. It has been a fantastic experience from beginning to end. We joined after a complex experience with our first nursery, and were welcomed with constant kindness, compassion and professionalism. Both our children had a wonderful time, building close bonds with teachers, who rapidly became key figures in their emotional development and learning. I genuinely cannot recommend the school highly enough. We even moved out of the city and continued to take our children into Brighton so they could still attend Young Sussex. Management have been especially important in our journey, deftly navigating funding changes, the COVID experience and all the challenges the Early Years sector faces in the UK. A special place. There were a lot of happy tears on our last day...

I have been so happy with my child's progress and development since starting at Young Sussex. It was nerve wrecking bringing her here for the first time- she is our first child and we didn't know what to expect- but from the moment she started, we have all been made to feel so welcome and at ease. My child's key worker has developed an amazing relationship with my child, and she just loves her! We couldn't recommend YS more highly. The activities and ideas they come up with is so inspiring. My child is thriving.

Our daughter has settled so well into the nursery after a tricky start. I love seeing all the activities she gets involved in. We are so pleased we chose Young Sussex.

Our daughter absolutely flourished at Young Sussex Nursery and loved her time there. All of the staff are genuinely wonderful - helpful, kind and patient with the children, we felt they were both being looked after so brilliantly that we didn't worry at all about her when we dropped her off. Young Sussex is also a lovely space with the kids spending plenty of time outdoors and encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Both of my children attended Young Sussex. They both flourished there and think back on their time with fond memories. The staff are wonderful. Very nurturing and caring. Drop-offs can be tricky, and staff were always understanding and would call later to let me know my child had settled. There were lots of activities, story times and a nice garden to play in. But the main thing was that I felt like my children were being well looked after and were safe. In all our time there, there was one incident when my daughter had put a stone up her nose. The nursery called straightaway.

Our two boys joined Young Sussex Nursery aged 2 and 3. We had moved to the area and therefore had to transfer nursery. The team at Young Sussex gave us such piece of mind that our boys were looked after and invested in educationally, whilst we both were busy working parents. I like many things about the nursery. Highlights include the great space available, in and out, and the depth of resources the team can turn to physically to undertake educational sessions. The longevity of the management team and the staff in a competitive industry also speaks volumes. Young Sussex provided our family with a brilliant start and then confidence our children now have in all areas has supported a great start at school. This is an outstanding nursery environment in Brighton.

My son attended the Young Sussex Dyke Road site for the past 3 and a half years and has flourished. He has formed strong friendships and is developmentally doing very well and that is due to the care and support he has been given by all the staff at Young Sussex. I cannot recommend this nursery enough- my daughter attended the Hove site a few years ago and we were equally impressed.

Our daughter went to Young Sussex from the age of 11 months until she left to go to primary school this September. We cannot have asked for a better nursery for our daughter to develop, learn and make new friends. She is a quietly confident child, takes a while to get to know a situation and they really helped bring her out of her shell from the very beginning and at every transition to the next group. Every single member of staff has been a pleasure to speak to, they always have time for feedback on the day and if you have any questions. It's a very nurturing environment and it feels very organised and well run. They were really flexible as well if we ever needed extra days and the swap days for holidays were also really helpful. I would recommend this nursery to anyone, and have no doubt your child will be well cared for and settle in in no time at all. We will miss it very much!

So far we are very satisfied with the experience and the way our child learns at this wonderful nursery! We hope it will continue to be as beautiful and good! My daughter is very happy here! Do not hesitate to bring your children to this "big family".

My daughter has had a fantastic time at Young Sussex since starting at the beginning of the year. The range of activities provided has not only brought her joy but has supported her development and I've seen her thrive in this environment. We are very happy with our choice of nursery and we can't wait to see what she gets up to next term!

Young Sussex has been marvellous for my daughter and previously my son! They are lovely professional people with attention to detail, nothing is too much trouble, they have good communication systems in place, and strive to improve if needed, highly recommended for great child care and learning.

Young Sussex is a fantastic nursery and I never fail to recommend it to new parents locally. The environment is so nurturing for children and parents! My son has had a wonderful start there. The staff are absolutely brilliant, I'm really happy with the space and the range of activities offered to children.

My son attended Young Sussex Nursery Brighton from January 2021 to September 2023. I could not be happier with his experience at Young Sussex and I am so glad I chose this nursery for him. The staff have been incredible throughout, so nurturing, kind and unwavering in their support for him and all of his needs. I have always felt heard and respected by the team and felt reassured leaving him in their capable hands. The food was always great and the kids spend a lot of time playing outdoors, which I love! My son always came home having had a fun day with lots to tell me about. He made some lovely friends at nursery and I believe all the staff contributed to boosting his confidence and allowing him to express himself and feel safe. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Thank you to everyone at Young Sussex for giving him an amazing start to early years life!

My daughter has been in Young Sussex for two years and it's been a pleasure. Amazing management and staff are very well trained.
