I can highly recommend Colourbox at Cherrytrees. Miss Jenny and her team are caring, nurturing and show a great deal of care and love for the children they care for. We came to Cherrytrees as new adopter parents and was anxious in starting our child at nursery. They put us at ease and have supported
us by communicating with us when we needed information, updated us regularly with our child's progress and have shown a genuine kindness and warmth to our child. Our little one is coming on further with his speech and communication skills and has grown a lot in confidence. What more could we ask for.

This nursery is amazing. My son is thriving, the staff are lovely and so supportive. Big shout out to Miss Camelia & Miss Jennie. My son has issues with eating and they have gone above and beyond to help support us in encouraging him and us to improve this issue. Communication is open clear and
consistent, everyone is so happy and the setting is beautiful. Can recommend this nursery!!!! 10/10

I honestly only have positive things to say about Cherry Trees. The nursery itself, along with all of the staff, are absolutely amazing-so kind, caring, and genuinely invested in the children.
My son has grown so much in confidence since starting there and I truly believe a big part of that is down
to the nursery and the wonderful team. They build such meaningful connections with the children, and you can really feel the Montessori approach in everything they do, which I know has had a huge impact on my son's development.
The food is also fantastic-he now eats such a wide variety of meals, which has been amazing to see.
I genuinely have no negatives at all and would highly recommend Cherry Trees to anyone, I only wish I had found it sooner for my daughter!

We have had children in Colourbox at Cherry Trees since 2021 until now & have nothing but good things to say about the nursery & our children love it there. The staff are wonderful and very caring, and I feel safe taking them there!

Our son has such a great time at nursery and has learnt lots of new skills since he joined in November. He loves playing both inside and outside and taking part in all the weekly activities. We're really happy :-).

My daughter started in the nursey in July and has settled beautifully. This is all thanks to the amazing, caring staff and nurturing environment. It has been recently renovated and looks inviting and homely. The nursery provide daily updates on my daughters activities and food intake. They are
reassuring and offer 1:1 meetings to discuss her development in a termly manner. We are always made aware of changes well in advance- like menu changes or staff changes, and have been able to book extra sessions when needed. The admin team are also always pleasant and quick to reply to enquiries.
My daughter comes home talking about the practitioners like they're her friends.
I am so happy we secured her space here and looking forward to watching her ongoing journey through the rooms at Colour box- Cherry Trees.

My daughter has been attending Cherrys trees since April2025 and I cannot praise them enough.
My daughter has autism and is currently non-verbal but, I can honestly say, Cherry Trees have been amazing with their support and guidance.
Miss Jennie has been a a great help with everything EHCP.
Camelia has been so patient and kind towards my daughter, I couldn't have ask for a better place for my daughter to go to nursery. They have been so accommodating towards my daughter's needs, ensuring she has anything to make her time there comfortable.

When we first toured Cherry Trees and met Miss Jennie, she immediately made us feel at ease. It is obvious that she is an experienced manager as she spoke to us in detail about what life is like at Cherry Trees. She also has a good understanding of the Montessorri approach. Our daughter started in
March and it is thanks to all of the staff at Cherry Trees that she is thriving. All of the staff are warm and welcoming and our daughter runs in with a smile everyday. The staff communicate well with updates throughout the day via the parent portal app and are always more than happy to answer any questions at drop off or pick up.
The setting is also beautiful with its calm atmosphere with a range of engaging resources for the children to access as they wish. We could not recommend Cherry Trees enough. Thank you.

My son attends Cherry Trees @ Risby twice a week and has a thoroughly good time.
The staff are all welcoming, engaging & friendly and the setting is perfect for my child's growth.

We joined Cherry Trees under its previous owners in September 2024 but the manager and most of the staff remained when Colourbox bought it and we had been happy at Red lodge colourbox (we moved location to be nearer the school for our older children).
This place is delightful, each key person my
child has been allocated as he moved into the different age groups has given him support and love, as well as the other staff in the room of course.
The manager, Miss Jennie, has been a legend helping me manage his emerging SEN and supporting the various applications I have had to make regarding his future education.
The new owning company have put so much into improving the facilities and expanding to take younger children now that people can get funding from 9months rather than 2 years.
The setting is both calm and beautiful and I would recommend it in a heartbeat!

We have had such a lovely experience of Cherry Trees.
The staff are fantastic and so caring and supportive of our little boy (and us as parents!)
We couldn't ask for a better setting and experience, he attends 4 days and always comes home happy and contented having enjoyed a day of fun exploring
new things and experiences. He's thriving.
I feel very reassured and happy leaving my little one in the care of all the staff and know he'll have a fab time.

Our kids have had a wonderful experience at Cherry Trees. The team are gentle and kind and support the children to develop their confidence and independence. They understand the kids needs well and follow their interests.
The new building is great and full of fantastic resources.

You couldn't pick a more outstanding facility to trust looking after your child/children.
All the staff are so dedicated and supportive to your child's needs, while always having a smile and complete rundown of the day when you do pick up.
Our son is getting to experience a great education, a
delicious rotating fresh menu while getting exposed to many different flavours and types of food, all while getting the best staff possible to care for him.

We have had a very good experience at Colourbox Cherry Trees, the staff are all very friendly and helpful and my son has settled extremely well into his first nursery setting through their confidence and care. The nursery is surrounded by a wonderful nature setting with the most enormous ancient
oak tree in their playground and with views over fields and trees. We can really see our sons development progressing at this Montessori and feel the constructive activities they engage in are a super and empowering way to learn.

Wonderful setting and kind & helpful staff! My daughter loves it there and has learned so much since being there. They have really helped her come out of her shell and grow academically. The staff are really lovely and the communication from them is outstanding.

My son attends part time and absolutely loves it here. He often asks if he can attend more days as he prefers it to his other setting.
The staff seem genuinely caring and update us in detail on how our son has been and the activities he has completed.

From the moment we looked around the nursery, we knew it would be a positive and safe place for our Daughter. Despite emotional drop offs, which are handled with such care and empathy from the staff, our little comes out each time full of joy and smiles. It's very clear to see that she has had a
wonderful time and is learning so much too. The facilities are great, lots of fun and educational activities and a lovely outside space. We are very grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery for her.

My child has been here since he was 9 months old (although they can now only start at 3 years) and he just loves coming to nursery. The staff really care and are interested in all that goes on in the children's life in and out of nursery. We love the strong Montessori ethos and are pleased with the
development in skills and learning. The facilities and outdoor space allow for a wide range of activities to be done.

My son has attended Brookes Cambridge for the past 2 years and I can not rate the setting highly enough.
The staff are welcoming, warm, caring and professional.
The Montessori approach has helped my son immensely with developing his independence and self-confidence.
The setting is fantastic
with access to large fields and a forest school area.
My son particularly enjoys the music session with the music teacher.
I have been continually impressed with all the extras this setting provides- special Mother's Day tea, trips into town to the library, forest school and lovely Christmas parties to name a few.

When I asked my two year old Son if he liked his house or would prefer to live somewhere different, he said "I would like to live in my house at Brookes (Cambridge)" I don't think here could be any better commendation.
