View Full Details of Bright Horizons Gaynes Park Day Nursery and PreschoolLovely nursery and staff are fantastic. My little boy loves it there! Settled so well and loves everything they do with him different activities etc. Seems to have no trouble eating at nursery either haha.
Our son started in February and it has been brilliant. The settling in sessions were very well set out and everything was explained clearly. The nursery staff are all professional but caring. Our son loves going to nursery and is really thriving. The staff are all approachable and everyone is welcoming. Our son has a medical condition and the staff have been excellent at making sure he has his medicine when he needs it. We trust them 100%. We would choose this nursery again and again.
The team at Gaynes park are exceptional! The team especially in toddlers are superb. My son has additional support needs and they give me the confidence that he's taken care of whilst there. They give detailed updates when picking up. Go over and beyond to his individual needs and my son is extremely happy there! It is clean, organised and a happy environment. The kids are always smiling dancing and having a great time playing with their toys. There is a SENco support system in place, so for those children that do need extra help it's there and it's working. The nursery management team are always quick to respond and keep you up to date. This nursery truly puts their kids first. It's a home from home. They do lots of seasonal activities to celebrate and create memories. I get lots of arts and crafts to take home as well as potted plants and beeswax following from a bee presentation day! 10/10 most recommended setting.
My daughter is currently in the preschool room and has attended Bright Horizons, Gaynes Park since before her first birthday, so we really know this place well. The outdoor space has plenty of room for the children to run and play, practice riding their tricycles, dig in the mud kitchen and really enjoy being outside every day. The babies and toddlers have their own dedicated outdoor play area too. The staff are really warm, caring and lovely people and I think it's a real sign of what a positive environment the nursery has that so many have been around for all the years we have been. Children are able to make close and lasting bonds with their caregivers and they feel confident seeing the same loving faces each day. The staff have also seen us through all of the challenges of early childhood, from potty training to learning to play with "kind hands" in an incredibly supportive manner. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery, as my kids have loved it there every day!
We are thrilled with this nursery! The child-led approach is fantastic, allowing our little one to explore and develop at her own pace. The activities and toys in both the baby and toddler rooms are engaging, and the outdoor space is great for play. The staff have been incredibly patient and supportive, especially when our daughter struggled with settling. Their consistent care has helped her grow in confidence and independence. We also appreciate the flexibility with nap times, as it allows our daughter to rest when needed. The nursery app works both ways, enabling us to share updates from home while also staying connected to her day through regular updates from the staff. The care, healthy meals and welcoming environment make this nursery stand out from others we visited. The team's dedication and genuine commitment is evident and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We highly recommend it to any parent seeking a supportive, enriching and caring environment for their child.
My daughter has been attending since December 2021 and I can't fault the place. Her nut allergies are treated seriously, she is thriving there and has lots of friends and loves nursery days. The food menu is varied and my daughter comes home happy and well fed every day. The staff are lovely and really attentive. My only negative point would be the car parking situation. The car park is small and staff only and being opposite a school means the morning drop-off can be an absolute nightmare. I live 5 miles away and so cannot walk my child there and I often have to park 2/3 roads down in the morning to find a space. Overall, a lovely place for children to be and I would highly recommend.
I would highly recommend Bright Horizons, Gaynes Park. The Baby's room is light, bright, clean and feels very homely. The outdoor space is covered and has astro-turf so is a safe space to be outdoors. You are allowed into the Baby's room to drop off/collect (being sure to remove shoes or wear shoe covers). This is lovely as you can watch your child playing and interacting with peers if they don't see you straight away! The staff are welcoming and friendly and provide valuable feedback at the end of the day. You can also access daily updates on naps/nappies/food on the app where staff also share photos of activities and provide updates on your child's development and recommendations for activities they will try next. Security is taken very seriously when allowing people into the property. I can't think of any negative points about this setting! In my experience, it is a special place due to the dedication and hard work of all the staff there.
After reviewing several nurseries, I can say that Bright Horizons Gaynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool is amazing. The staff are attentive, caring and always happy to give children a cuddle when needed. The baby room has an open-door policy, allowing children to choose to be inside or outside most of the year as the outdoor space has a covering. The space is arranged as a home living room to allow children to feel at home and quickly and easily adapt to being at nursery. The nursery offers and encourages many settling-in days for as long as the child needs to settle, unlike most nurseries that only offer one or two settle sessions. This really stood out for me as I understood it wasn’t about what was convenient for them but rather what was in the best interests of my child. Management is caring and understanding and I love that the nursery is accommodating to children of all abilities. The staff manage medical conditions/allergies with ease which gives me and other parents in a similar situation peace of mind.
Bright Horizons Gaynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool is a great place to send your child. My daughter has been there for around two years now, moving from babies to preschool and adores all the staff and has made some great friendships with other children. They are attentive and informative and always strive to help with any queries you may have. The app is great and it's lovely to see what she gets up to at nursery with ideas to help with learning at home. The staff are longstanding and highly qualified which gives me peace of mind as a parent.
My child recently started and has settled in so well. The staff are amazing I would highly recommend this nursery. My child has built up a lot more confidence in such a short time. I am extremely happy I have chosen this nursery for my child to attend.
Child joined at 7 months old, been there for 8 weeks. Settling in consisted of a session with my daughter and me there and her key worker and then gradually working up to 2.5 hrs before doing the full days. I was nervous as the room is quite big and it has children 3 months - 2 years. The room works really well as it creates separate spaces for them to play, sleep and eat. They easily got her to settle and sleep independently which we had been struggling with at home and have respected my breastfeeding boundaries being totally flexible on how much formula I wanted them to offer (so I can breastfeed enough at home) or I can express if to want for them to feed her. I was disappointed that they don't accept the workplace nursery scheme as my employer offers, but I cannot think of a better experience for the little one's' first nursery experience. She is doing well and we are happy. Thank you.
The staff are so friendly welcoming and so supportive. They’ve helped my son come on leaps and bounds with his development. He is happy whilst in their care. It’s a great choice for your children to attend. They have great grounds for time spent outside. Covered when in babies or toddlers. I joined late last year and will keep my son until school.
My daughter is a SEN child and has attended Bright Horizons Gaynes Park since she was 1 years old moving from the baby room to the toddler room where she now is. She has been incredibly well cared for by both rooms and sets of staff and has really bonded with key individuals in each of those rooms. The nursery has gone above and beyond to accommodate her and her needs and we would be lost without that support. Equally, they have been instrumental in raising their concerns and getting her the support she needs outside of nursery too through the various referrals they provided. I cannot recommend this nursery more highly the ladies have really nurtured and cared for my little girl and the SEN staff have been wonderful throughout her time and continue to provide her with the support she needs. She loves going to nursery and I think that says it all.
For the last year, the staff has been incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and nurturing environment for the children. They have a remarkable way of connecting with the kids and building strong bonds with them, which is evident in how much my daughter loves being there. I am impressed with how informative and friendly the staff is, always keeping me updated on my daughter's progress and activities. Under their care, she has made significant progress in every aspect of her development, and I am grateful for the attention they've given her. It's bittersweet knowing that she'll soon be leaving. However, I can't help but feel reassured that they have prepared her exceptionally well for the next step in her transition to primary school. Thank you to the wonderful team at the nursery for making my daughter's time here truly special. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parent seeking a loving and enriching environment for their child's early education!
Bright Horizons, Gaynes Park is a newly refurbished nursery with friendly and caring staff. My daughter attends two days a week and has done for a year. The facilities here are excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable and always on hand to offer help and support. The app is also a great tool to track your child's progression and see what they have been up to at the nursery.
My son really loves going to this nursery, he has made a lot of friends and is full of enthusiasm. The staff are really friendly and helpful and deal with any enquiries I have made quickly and professionally. The facilities are fantastic and my son undertakes a range of activities, helping him to develop himself socially and his early education.
My granddaughter attends Gaynes Park Nursery and attends a couple of days a week. She has settled very well and enjoys her time with the other children and she loves making new friends. It has given her more confidence among other people. The staff are kind and caring towards all the children.
I cannot ask for a better place for my child to be in. I am very grateful to all the teachers who watch over him as he's a very unusual 3-year-old. I would like to give you all a huge thank you, in making my life easier by keeping him clean, changed and so happy, he never wants to leave.
This nursery is wonderful. Leaving your child after maternity leave is not easy, but Bright Horizons made it manageable. The updates I received on the app made this transition so much easier for me, as I could see pictures of her day and find out what she has been eating etc. They look after my daughter perfectly. Not only is she learning skills I wouldn't be able to teach her myself at home, but she has the best time when she attends and genuinely loves walking into her room and seeing her key person. I feel like she is looked after well, given plenty of time and attention, but also space to explore. I couldn't rate Gaynes Park Day Nursery enough!
My son had a wonderful time at Bright Horizons Gaynes Park over the last two years. All staff members were really nice and caring. He has become more organised, sociable, confident, and well-behaved. He enjoyed going to the nursery and came back with many stories to tell us. He misses his friends at the Preschool so much. We are on holiday abroad at the moment but he keeps asking us to bring him back to the Preschool. He said he would listen better this time. Once we told him that he needs to move on to the big school, he was excited but a bit sad. Million thanks to all of you for being patient and for the hard work you have done for him.
