It took my daughter a little while to settle in, but the staff were so patient and supportive throughout the process. They're always so welcoming in the mornings, which makes drop-offs a little easier. She's now really happy going to nursery, has made lovely little friends. There's always such a nice, positive vibe in the baby room. You can tell the staff enjoys what they do! The app they use is really helpful for keeping track of her day, and I love seeing the photos and updates at the end of the day. Overall we're happy and grateful for the care and attention she receives.

Nothing but good things to say about Barford Nursery. The staff have been great in supporting my daughter to settle and reassuring us as first time parents. They are really focused on engaging the children in great creative learning activities and giving regular development updates on our daughter which are lovely to read. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone considering enrolling their child.

Our daughter currently attends Barford Bright Horizons but, prior to this, our son also attended until he started school last September. We love the nursery and preschool and feel they prepared our son amazingly well for school and the development we have seen in our daughter since she started in May has also been lovely. I would highly recommend this setting to anyone considering it for their child. It's clear that the welfare of the children are at the centre of what the nursery does and we feel totally at ease leaving them in the care of the team there.

Our son has thrived at nursery, his confidence in the last few months alone has grown so much. The staff are all attentive and friendly, and show a real interest in all the children. We receive daily updates including photos on what they have done, eaten, slept etc which is lovely to see so we can talk about their day in detail once we get home. The team are always happy to help with any query and communication through the app is great. We would highly recommend this nursery.

We love Barford Bright Horizons, the staff are so warm and friendly and all our children have loved every day there, they communicate with us regularly and work together with us to make sure our girls are as happy as can be. Our children learn so much on their days there and always come home happy with so much to say ! I comment recommend a better place in the area.

We have used Barford Nursery for a number of years with my son currently attending. We have always been really happy with the care provided to our children. The communication with staff is always good and there is a wide variety of activities for the children to do which really supports their development. We've recommended the nursery to both family and friends.

Friendly nursery with a home from home feel. The staff are brilliant and genuinely care about the children. Regular updates and photographs are provided via the app and development reviews are really lovely to see. My children absolutely love this nursery and the staff and I have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

My little girl has been attenting the nursery since September 2024. She settled really well and quick in the baby room and staff have been super reassuring and caring throughout. She goes in happy in the morning now and I am so glad to see that she is happy and cared for. She also has an amazing time there and access to lots of different fun activities. Sometimes at pick up time she is so inmersed and engaged that she doesn't even realised that we are there. We also get daily info about activities, nappies, meals etc which is brilliant. I have definitely noticed how her confidence has grown in the last months and I am so glad to have chosen Bright Horizons Barford Day Nursery and Preschool for her. Strongly recommend.

My daughter loves the nursery, she made a lot of friends. She is always happy to go and doesn't want to leave in the evening. The staff are focused on her development and communication with the parents is amazing. I cannot recommend it more highly.

Our little boy has just started at Bright Horizons Barford Day Nursery and Preschool and we are delighted with how well he has settled. The staff are all friendly and very welcoming. We are always welcomed into the nursery and get to speak to the staff directly who have been with him all day. The app is great! We get all the information we need throughout the day and we enjoy looking at the photos too. Thank you for making the transition from being at home to starting nursery so seamless.

We love the nursery, both my nearly 3-year-old and 1-year-old feel very at home there and have built some wonderful relationships with the staff and my eldest daughter and the children too. We get daily updates about what the girls have been doing/learning and any advice to help us support at home. I was very much supported through potty training with my eldest daughter and communication is fantastic. Enjoy hearing the progress reports too! It's a pleasure sending our children there and we feel like we have given the girls a wonderful start to their education journey.

My daughter started nursery in June and she has settled in so well. After her room leader changed she has been exploring more, interacting and coming home learning so many skills I would not expect from a 13-month-old. Everyone who works there knows her by name and makes me feel like she part of the family. We don't have a bad word to say about the team and they are amazing with her diary intolerances too. She does fun activities every day and I love the daily updates.

I have nothing but good things to say about Barford nursery! From the moment my daughter started at the age of 8 months old, she has been made to feel part of the Barford family. It makes it so much easier for me to drop her off every day knowing she is happy, safe and well looked after. The range of activities on offer to the babies is incredible. I take my hat off to the staff for coming up with such a range of activities for children so young. The communication is great from management and key workers, the app is updated regularly throughout the day, so I always know what my daughter has been getting up to. I cannot rate Barford highly enough.

What a team! I have two kids at Barford, Bright Horizons, one in preschool and another in babies. Most importantly, they both love it. Every day the kids get to participate in a great variety of activities, both creative, self-led and structured teacher-led, things I couldn't imagine doing at home. I really think in comparison to other nurseries, my kids are getting a real head start by attending. The staff are all very professional ( and fun ) and I have full confidence my kids are in good hands when I drop them off. My son has allergies and their systems and menu cater for his needs perfectly. My (fussy eater) daughter gets on well too and always comes home with a full tummy. 10/10!

I have had three children who have attended Bright Horizons Nursery over the past seven years. They are a kind, caring and professional team, offering a fantastic childcare service. My children enjoy the interactive, varied activities they put on for them and are eager to go to nursery each day.

My daughter has settled in so well after initially being quite shy, she has made friends and loves all the amazing activities she gets to do. The addition since my son was there, is of the nursery app, which is excellent and gives me so much information about the day.

The nursery has a real family-friendly feel, mixed with that a sound corporate backline behind it which as a parent makes me confident my child is having a great start in life. The staff are great and have done extremely well to continue running the nursery even with all wider external challenges going on. Our son is obviously having a great time and is being fed good quality meals. Little touches like all the staff knowing his name make it extra special. Would highly recommend this nursery and we will be sending our daughter there next year.

Fabulous staff and a very friendly nursery that listens to us and proactively works with us to give us the best development experience for our children. We love the size of this nursery, not too big and not too small. Dedicated staff that really seem to care and have a good focus on cleanliness and health and safety.

Barford has provided a safe childcare environment for my daughter from age 1-3. She is currently in the pre-school room, which I’ve noticed has really stepped up the learning and development and this has been reflected in my daughter's vocabulary and behaviour. In general, she enjoys attending the nursery, has a good relationship with her key worker and has made a lot of friends there.

We love Bright Horizons Barford Day Nursery and Preschool, our son loves going to nursery and all his teachers and friends there. He is flourishing with his play, speech and language. All the staff are amazing and always there for advice or to listen to questions or concerns.

Our daughter currently attends Barford Bright Horizons but, prior to this, our son also attended until he started school last September. We love the nursery and preschool and feel they prepared our son amazingly well for school and the development we have seen in our daughter since she started in May has also been lovely. We love Barford Bright Horizons, the staff are so warm and friendly and all our children have loved every day there, they communicate with us regularly and work together with us to make sure our girls are as happy as can be. We have used Barford Nursery for a number of years with my son currently attending. We have always been really happy with the care provided to our children.
