My eldest daughter who's now in year 2 at primary school attended Shepard lodge nursery from being a baby and she loved it. The staff are so friendly and the nursery is very clean and modern. Iv recently returned with my second baby January 2026 and the staff are all so welcoming with my new baby,
so many friendly faces and the reassurance that my baby will be well looked after was never a concern for me as Iv gotten to know them over the last 4years and there all fantastic. The nursery has made huge improvement within there house when I had my my recent visit. It's a fantastic nursery with incredible staff who care for my children just as I would as a mother.

An excellent nursery, our child really has thrived during his time at this nursey, they have a great team of child care experts, male and female which was an important factor for us. Their approach includes outdoor forest style as well as conventional curriculum and has proven itself developmentally
appropriate for our outdoor loving boy.

We are extremely happy with the care provided. The staff are warm, attentive, and always make our daugther feel safe and welcome. The environment is clean, bright, and well-equipped, with a great outdoor area.
The daily activities are varied and educational. We especially appreciate the regular
updates and photos sent through the app.

My daughter started a couple of months ago and we could not be happier with the nursery!
The staff are so kind and caring, while also being professional and efficient.
They ensured her start at the nursery was smooth and she settled so well.
Every day at nursery is so much fun for her, and we love
getting the regular photo updates through the app as the day goes on.
Highly recommend!

We've had a wonderful experience at this nursery! The staff are caring, attentive, and create a warm, fun environment. Our child has grown in confidence, learning, and happiness every day. Would highly recommend to any other parents.

I have two children here at the moment and can honestly say that this setting is just fantastic! The staff are so kind and attentive.
My eldest is quite shy but the room leader has always gone above and beyond to ensure she is included and her confidence has bloomed.
The catering team work hard
and provide really healthy and varied menus, both my girls love the food!
The rooms are always clean and fun activities are always available for my girls to get involved . 5 star on all fronts!

My little one has been attending this nursery for a year now and she loves it. She goes in every morning with a smile on her face and is happy to go to whoever is in that morning. Her speech and independence have come on a lot since starting at this nursery. There is a wide variety of food offered.
My little one takes part in different activities every week and is always trying new things. They recently held "Shep-Chella" at the nursery which was amazing and my little one loved! I couldn't fault this nursery and wouldn't hesitate to send any future kids there. Highly recommend!

Our child has recently moved to the next class at nursery and has already settled in well thanks to the workers in that room. They have ensured that she is settled and spent those extra minutes reassuring her in the mornings. The activities that they complete throughout the day has already increased
our child's confidence and we are very grateful

My daughter joined at the start of term, it's her first ever nursery experience and I was so anxious about whether she'd settle, she'd talk and interact with children and staff but the staff have reassured me and have sent me updates on how she's settling in playing and dancing. They've all been fab
and Charlotte loves it (once she settles after drop off). Would highly recommend and have done to others! Thank you to her key worker and everyone who has helped make Charlotte feel loved and safe.

Fantastic nursery! My daughter came on so well in the baby room. The staff were all amazing and kept us really informed of her progress. The app they use is handy for keeping track of how little one is getting on each day. 10/10

10/10 Great nursery, staff really helpful and friendly. My little boy as come on loads since joining, always looks forward to his afternoons at nursery, Good range of sports played and activities. Good healthy variety of foods served.

A gentle, warm and caring environment. Of late, there are some issues surrounding change of staff and lack of structure/routine, particularly in preschool. All areas in previous times have been excellent. The year beginning Sept 2024, my son's final term not so much.

The staff at Shepherd Lodge are high quality staff - friendly, approachable, caring, informative and always positive. They work incredibly hard, and our daughter is always happy to go to the nursery. The setting is lovely with a great outdoor space. The children go on local visits but we would like
to see this happen more often. The resources are good but we would like some new resources to be added to the setting. Thank you for everything you do.

A particular staff member is a fantastic member of the team! She looks after my little girl and see always has a brilliant day with her. If I have any issues or problems she is very helpful and will do everything to help and sort things out. This staff member has a lovely kind nature and a great
bond with the children and always makes the day fun for my daughter. She is often brought up when my daughter is with me at home which is very reassuring that my daughter loves her company and her looking after her. Thank you to this staff member.

Our little girl absolutely loves attending Shephed Lode Nursery. She has great relationships with all staff members and has made lovely friends. Our eldest daughter also attended this nursery, and we would not consider sending our children anywhere else! Shepherd Lodge is a home from home - kind,
caring, safe, and fun environment for the children.

Both my children attend Shepherd Lodge, one in the baby room and the other in pre school. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. The staff are incredible and there isn't a single day that my children don't want to go in, they can't run in any faster. I like how they spend so much time outside, and
are encouraged to interact with people of all ages.
I trust everything about Shepherd Lodge.

My children have been going to Shepherd Lodge since 2017. They love the nursery. The staff are so kind to the children, the girls will talk about the staff at home in a lovely positive light. Shepherd lodge nursery have been great with my son. The staff are very attentive and you can tell they care a lot about the children. He absolutely loves being outside and his sports coach!
We are extremely happy with the progress he has made, and all the opportunities he has at nursery.
