The staff are very helpful and always happy to answer queries or check if they have space to accommodate any last minute requests. My son always happily walks in when I drop him off and sits down for breakfast and he also looks happy when we collect him. The photos and updates on the ap show he's having a great range of activities.

We couldn't be happier with Kids Planet, Hixon! The staff genuinely care about every child and take the time to build real, trusting relationships with them. They spend so much quality time helping each child grow, learn, and feel confident. Communication with parents is excellent - we're always kept up to date and feel completely supported. The team are also really proactive with any referrals or additional support a child might need, which has made such a positive difference for our family. The facilities are fantastic especially outdoor area, the activities are always engaging and varied, and the food choices are excellent too. It's clear the nursery puts a lot of thought into every detail to make sure children are happy, safe, and thriving. We're so grateful to have our son there - it truly feels like a second home for home.

Great staff who are willing to offer support for anything you need. Allowed us to have ad-hoc days due to unforeseen circumstances and our Son has started to really enjoy going and seeing the staff as well as his friends there. Able to cater for our dietary requirements (plantbased) and working with you and your requirements that your child needs. Always kept up to date with your child's day with the app. Overall would recommend to anyone who is looking to place their child into a nursery in Hixon.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to Nursery. She had a rocky start with settling in as she's super clingy and the team did everything they could to not only help her to settle in, but took the time to listen to what she does and doesn't like and kept me in the loop the whole time. The whole team are so friendly. I love the updates throughout the day and the photos. The crafts she does and comes home with are such a lovely touch too. Thank you Hixon!

Our daughter has attended Kids Planet, Hixon since she was ten months old, and has been attending for over 18 months. She absolutely loves the nursery and the staff, and has built wonderful relationships with them! She has had fabulous key workers throughout her time there so far and they go out of their way to build strong relationships. The team are kind, caring, dedicated, and committed to providing the best care. One of the many reasons we love this nursery is that our daughter really looks forward to attending, going in happily each morning, and being welcomed in by the staff. We look forward to the regular updates through the app to see what the children have been learning and doing throughout the day, and our daughter regularly brings things home too, which is lovely! The children do lots of different engaging activities, with plenty of opportunities to play outdoors. We are exceptionally happy with Kids Planet, Hixon, and cannot recommend it enough. They are a wonderful team of staff.

My son has been attending this nursery for a year now and absolutely loves it. He has come on leaps and bounds with his speech and learning since starting, and I have had nothing but great experiences with all of the staff. We will also be enlisting our new baby that is due to arrive in spring. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Lovely staff at the nursery, nursery manager very accommodating and helpful, lovely setting and very friendly atmosphere. Not had any problems with the care here at all. So glad I chose this nursery for my little boy.

My eldest daughter attended Kids Planet Hixon from 9 months old through to starting school in Sept 24. She absolutely loved every day at nursery and couldn't have been better prepared for school. My youngest daughter has also attended since she was 9 months old and is now 2.5 and she is thriving and happy. The udeskole learning is amazing and the range of activities and trips and learning is so vast. Great food. Good communication. And there's not a day in 5 years where I've had any concerns about the care for the girls. There are always events that involve the family and stay and plays which is great. We will be sad to leave in 2026!

Amazing Nursery! My daughter was 9 months old when she started, she was obviously hesitant at first as had never left my side. But the staff have been fab in making sure she settles incorrectly, making both me and her feel much more relaxed about everything. She now does not even look back at me when it comes to dropping off and loves her days in nursery. The ladies make us both feel at ease on nursery days. Amazing setting all around. Happy baby and happy parents. Thanks again and highly recommend it.

My son had been at Hixon for over 12 months now. He has learned so much since being there. The staff are so lovely and willing to help out in any way they can. It's and clean and well kept nursery with the best activities for the kids.

My little boy started here in October and has settled incredibly well, having moved from another nursery staff were amazing and made us both feel very at home on the settling-on process and were so friendly and welcoming! The care that he receives is exactly what I would want from a childcare setting, I feel he is loved by all members of staff and has built amazing bonds with them, I couldn't ask for a better nursery! Thank you for making it easy to leave him in the best hands.

Both of my children have attended Kids Planet since they were around 1.5 years old, one is now in school and still has fond memories. My 2.5-year-old absolutely loves going to nursery here. All the staff are incredible, they go above and beyond when looking after the children and are wholeheartedly dedicated to their wellbeing and development. I'm so grateful that I never have to worry at drop off that my little one won't settle, I know he sees everyone there as an extension of his family.

My daughter started attending Kids Planet Hixon in May, her key worker worked with me to learn all of my daughter's likes, dislikes, fears, family, etc, which made transitioning a breeze. After a month she was walking in no problems! Since she started she has started to come out of her shell, our family and friends have said she is blossoming in her social skills (outside of speaking to me and her dad). She often talks about her key worker, other workers, and her friends at nursery. She's always happy to tell me how much she has done during her day. We are updated via an app with photos, food, and stories with what they are getting up to, and it is very varied with what they do! They receive a varied and healthy diet whilst there, and my daughter has CMPA - I have never had to worry about her being dairy-free. They have been very attentive regarding this. All staff members have been kind and friendly to ourselves, and we are so happy we chose to send our daughter to this nursery.

My daughter was at the nursery from 6 months to 3 years. The carers became like family to her and me. They took their time to help her when she was a baby weaning, all her fine and gross motor skills, she developed so well and was so happy from her first day. They nurtured and cared for her and helped her grow into a very happy caring toddler who enjoys indoor and outdoor play. The safe fire pits and hot chocolate are a firm favourite event and sports coach, different activities to other nurseries that are engaging and keep your little one happy and close to natural play.

My daughter has been attending Kids Planet Hixon for 3 years, she has now left as she is starting school in September. We couldn't be happier with the care, education and love that has been shared during this time. Our daughter has thrived in the care of the wonderful staff, whom she has developed strong bonds with. Our daughter and we as parents would highly recommend Kids Planet Hixon for prospective parents who are looking for the perfect nursery setting. Thank you for taking care of my baby, and for helping her to grow into the beautiful, clever, and bright girl she is today! We will miss you all.

My sons love attending Kids Planet Hixon. The staff are all so caring and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The kids do a wide range of interesting activities and my eldest son loves going on outings and taking part in the special events that are put on, such as a summer beach party. They also both enjoy the food provided. As a parent, I've always felt welcome in the nursery and any concerns have always been listened to and addressed. Overall, I'm very happy that my kids attend Kids Planet Hixon.

My child loves nursery and has been attending for nearly eighteen months. She has had several key workers who have shown outstanding care, attention and love to my child. She had multiple allergies and Hixon Kids Planet have been excellent at managing these allergies, making us feel very comfortable leaving her in safe hands. The facilities have also been improved both indoors and outdoors. My child loves the food, which is catered to her needs, and is offered a vast range of activities, which I love to see updates on. Thank you to all the hardworking members of Hixon Kids Planet!

Our daughter has been full time at Kids Planet Hixon for nearly two years and she loves it there. The nursery staff really do delight in having our daughter there. This has been so important to us, they have genuine connection and care, They are really passionate about education and even send helpful things home to help us too, such as a baby books to help our daughter get used to having a new sister before she arrived. The activities are varied, from art and crafts to outdoor play, reading and everything you can think of! I love that they take her out for day trips. They’ve been out to the park, the library and often go to the allotment and to see the local sheep. The food is high quality, fresh and all made in their kitchen. It’s reassuring to know that our little girl has had a varied and nutritious diet.

My son attends Hixon Nursery and has done for 12 months now. The staff have really helped our son transition into nursery with providing a fun, loving and learning environment. I know he is safe and really enjoys his time there. I get to see and read about his progress through the parent app which provides me with comfort and reassurance. They often hold open days and events where you can along together with your child and wider family to really see and experience what they get up to. We all love the team and feel really confident that our son is well taken care of and loved. Thank you

My little girl has been at nursery since she was 10 months old. The staff here are amazing, as a covid baby, my daughter struggles with separation and change. The staff are always there to give her cuddles and reassurance. She's currently in the preschool room and loves it! She loves the variety and can't wait to tell me about her day in the car on the way home. As a parent, I love the setting and the staff are just brilliant! Always on hand to help, they've particularly been brilliant with helping us potty train our daughter and helping me get my head around the confusing childcare codes! Today for instance, my car broke down outside the nursery and they made me coffee and kept checking on me whilst I waited for the recovery service, they're just fab! It's such a good feeling being able to leave your child, knowing that the staff will look after them as though they were their own, thank you!
